My family and Aaron's were next door neighbours in the `80s in the military quarters. Have known the family since primary school right through to secondary school. I am still in contact with one his sisters now. ♥
Went into the gig blind not knowing any of the support bands when High Parasite were supporting Cradle of Filth in Newcastle and really enjoyed their set. Managed to get a set list.
Great stuff. Got about halfway through before realising George was a good mate of mine from school 'back in the day' and introduced me to some amazing music. Glad to see him doing well!
@devolutionmagazine Ahh, sorry man, i didn't think you may be the one reading this. It's Tim here. Fond memories of, well, Pantera, Jello Biafra, various metal/death metal mix tapes (plus, I'm sure, MDB's Turn Loose The Swans vinyl? Sketchy memory, but there's a link somehow). Your 'Flokinokinihilification' (no way I've spelt that right) demo, with Steve Harwood etc etc ("Hate inbred!") Numerous memories! It's so, so cool to see that music is still so important to you.
Sleep Token are difficult to get into. I saw them live and was like.. "eh?" ..but now Aaron isn't singing with MDB in 2025.. WTF man! MDB barely go on tour anyway! Last time they came to my neck of the woods was 2016 FFS Aaron - try pointing the mic at the crowd during an MDB gig. We know the lyrics!! Interact with us more!
No. Why would I want to hear others voices? I am SO DAMN GRATEFUL I saw MDB once in my life, last year at Prophecy, but the other people screaming were the only thing that tarnished it. That is just stupid honestly. Go to a hardcore show.

Amazing you are working with Jo Qual - I've gigged with her, and she is so talented and a lovely person
