The “Signature Scent” from Chemical Guys used to be so much better when it was stronger and sold as “Stripper Scent.” I used to drive for Uber/Lyft in kind of a crappy car, and I ALWAYS got compliments on the scent.
The reason why the hanging ones are so much stronger than the vent ones is because they aren't being assisted by air coming out the vents. They have to be stronger so their scent can spread through the car properly.

Don't knock the cup holder air fresheners too bad if you have rear cup holders. They last longer and they can freshen up some really smelly cars. They don't have to take up a cup holder either. Put them somewhere else if you need to.

I think something to keep in mind on these is that y'all usually say the hanging ones are too strong while the vent mounted ones are subtle, but that's by design as a hanging one has to ambiently scent the air, while a vent mounted one would be wayyyyyy too strong if it wasn't subtle, just because of how its mounted to the vent
Also those Little Trees are intense because they aren’t meant to opened entirely all in one whack. You’re supposed to clip it open and slide the plastic down little by little as the scent fades.

Ozium is always my go to for the car. I worked in an auto parts store and have smelled almost all these and pretty much agree with your rankings. But i like the cherry spray you ranked the worst

BWAAHAAHAA. Cars are nothing but chemicals. Every fluid in them and used to clean them, especially brake cleaner, grease solvents, sensitive sensor cleaners and if you include auto body chemicals used for repair. Any chemical ending in 'ene' has probably been absorbed by me by now.
I use Yankee Candle midsummer night in my Town Car primarily. It is one of those scents that last quite a long time, and it doesn't get nasty in the sun on a hot summer day. The used cartridges can also be reused if you want. My wife takes my used ones and fills them slightly with other fragrances. Good change of smell pallet.
I used to work at a car wash it’s beyond me how people can stand some smells!! Cherry definitely doesn’t smell like any cherry I’ve ever smelled!! Just like artificial grape flavor doesn’t taste like grapes at all!!
I used to have a 2006 cobalt SS that was burnt orange and I had some chemical guys spray that was orange scented. Was quite the duo. I have a 2017 wrx that's black whatcha recommend for a scent?
I agree with the rankings of the ones that I have smelled. But the refresh strawberry lemonade (in the vent clip version) is actually one of my favorite.

Finally, what “customs” were paid? ITS MADE IN MISSOURI! It’s laughably bad
I like the Refresh New car cupholder ones in the smaller jar, you can adjust the vents on the lid so they don't stench up the car, I put one under the passenger seat, lasts for about three months. The Smoke Zilla sprays work pretty good too.
