The philosophy of this video is what I really love about Minecraft. You don't have to go for the best-most-efficient methods to still enjoy yourself. I find afk farming, microfarming, etc aesthetically unappealing and unfun from my own experience but others can totally enjoy metagaming like that (I do like playing New Vegas like that, meticulously efficient in stat development and resource management) and neither take away from each other's experience.
If you dig down to where it’s most commonly found and use some beds to blow up the surroundings to make the netherite to reveal its self it’s pretty easy and makes it a lot easier when trying to find it.
instamine actually takes 1/20 of a second. And netherite armor also gives you more armor toughness which decreases the rate at which armor stops protecting you when dealing with higher amounts of damage like: end_crystals, close to tnt, falling tnt minecart, charged creeper wither etc. You also want to enchant ever diamond item (including hoe) before upgrading because its easier to combine enchantments with diamond tools/armor than netherite. Higher durability also helps w/ mending so that you take less time to repair your armor especially when dealing with lava cause netherite doesnt take durability when protecting you from fire damage Smite V plus netherite sword is really good cause it can 1hit all undead mobs w/ 20 health while diamond swords deal 19.5 to undead mobs w/ smite V Btw its normal for you to get the exact same enchantments on both boots as is any tool, more enchantability just increases the chance of having more and better enchantments coming with it Also if you say you try to talk about the actual stats but don't really check them I know numbers are a bit difrent for bedrock but ilmango's videos on netherite tools, weapons and armor can give you a good idea on how to make a video like this No hate I still love ur channel and have been watching you for years XD
I didn’t say diamond tools were more enchantable I just said you should enchant them because you never get all of your enchantments at once and it’s easier to combine tools instead of books and getting diamond tools to combine is easier than netherite
Bro yes I was so used to the bottom of the screen instead of at the top. But it is really helpful as I do not have to scroll all the way down. Good move youtube
I play Minecraft java edition, and I think it’s better to upgrade the axe first. It will still take two hits to kill anything with a sword, and it is the same for an axe, but what you need to remember is that it takes of two durability points when you attack with an axe so the extra durability is extremely helpful.
Actually, netherite also protects more than diamonds in stronge attacks. Im not gonna get in how armor works, but bassicly the more damage an attack does the less the armor protects, but with netherite your armor will actually block more than diamond in those stronger attacks. (Sry for bad english)
Albeit late; this is correct! It's called "Armor Toughness" And I believe Netherite Armor toughness is roughly 50% better which can make a good difference. (Forgot the actual numbers so I could be wrong on that)

Answer is very simple though - yes, unless you only plan to keep your world for a few hours/days
When wadzee made his full netherite beacon, he showed that on average with TNT it took him 32 minutes to get 1 netherite block (not including the time to make the TNT), which is slightly more than 1 ancient debris per minute. With beds this would definitely be slower, but if you have a decent supply of sand and a creeper farm then within two hours you could have more netherite than you'll ever need.

Reason for netherite armor: You’re working in the nether and had a high likelihood of dying in lava or by fire and don’t want to spend another several hours grinding out the enchantments.
Or just bring a single 8 minute fire resistance potion and not die in the first place.
Netherite also has more protection than diamonds but toycat doesn't know it for some reason
@@dimitrisefstratiou4240 Does toughness not exist in bedrock or something? On the wiki toughness only has a JE 1.16 note on it.
But either way, at least for JE Netherite armor has one more toughness per piece.
Or fighting the ender dragon. Knockback resistance is very helpful against the dragon.
@@Angel_Zodiac it makes a big difference only in low damage hits but it still is really important...
Is there a chance bedrock edition doesn't have toughness for optimisation purposes?

Going to literally 110% Minecraft like Toycat? YES
@Stale Bagelz Jack and pewds for now in their minecraft series
The philosophy of this video is what I really love about Minecraft. You don't have to go for the best-most-efficient methods to still enjoy yourself. I find afk farming, microfarming, etc aesthetically unappealing and unfun from my own experience but others can totally enjoy metagaming like that (I do like playing New Vegas like that, meticulously efficient in stat development and resource management) and neither take away from each other's experience.

Toycat:The only way to get netherite is mining ancient debris
Bastions: am I a joke to you?
Uhh its better to mine for ancient debris then to find it in a bastion
Bastions got nerfed in a snapshot
@@trixiecheong5062 they're just rarer
Is also rare to find ancient debris in bastion
If you have a sheep farm, wheat farm, and wood then it isnt even hard to find.
I found enough for a full set in like 3 hours.
Higher durability also helps w/ mending so that you take less time to repair your armor especially when dealing with lava cause netherite doesnt take durability when protecting you from fire damage
Smite V plus netherite sword is really good cause it can 1hit all undead mobs w/ 20 health while diamond swords deal 19.5 to undead mobs w/ smite V
Btw its normal for you to get the exact same enchantments on both boots as is any tool, more enchantability just increases the chance of having more and better enchantments coming with it
Also if you say you try to talk about the actual stats but don't really check them
I know numbers are a bit difrent for bedrock but ilmango's videos on netherite tools, weapons and armor can give you a good idea on how to make a video like this
No hate
I still love ur channel and have been watching you for years XD
many of these points can be disproved with 3 words: bedrock is weird.
Isn't It easier to get good enchantments on Netherite tools and armor?
Álvaro
Ya but we’re just discussing what to upgrade first
@@marciomilisse8074 Yeah, I know, but you said that Diamond was more enchantable :V
I didn’t say diamond tools were more enchantable I just said you should enchant them because you never get all of your enchantments at once and it’s easier to combine tools instead of
books and getting diamond tools to combine is easier than netherite

Mojang: NEW MATERIAL!!! UPGRADE YOUR DIAMOND TOOLS!
Everyone: :D
Toycat: But why, why would you do that?
Haha
I play Minecraft java edition, and I think it’s better to upgrade the axe first. It will still take two hits to kill anything with a sword, and it is the same for an axe, but what you need to remember is that it takes of two durability points when you attack with an axe so the extra durability is extremely helpful.

id recommend going for netherite armor before the ender dragon if you play hardcore because netherite is incredibly easy to get before the enderdragon, get a sheep farm chop a couple trees down and make a bed factory then use those beds to get netherite currently in my hardcore world i started yesterday i have netherite chest, leggings and boots, on a normal world (vanilla survival) death isint that much of a problem so get it whenever you feel like it.
They should add a netherite fishing rod that lets you retrieve your netherite gear from the lava easily. That and maybe some unique things from fishing from lava, would be cool if you could get ancient debris from fishing in the lava even if it were a super low chance.

More durability on your means less xp to heal it. Thats a bonus for upgrading your armor to netherite.
There’s this trick where you need no xp to heal your diamond gear. It’s called villiger trading. Those guys can give you infinite of diamond everything some even pre-enchant it for you. 20% durability bonus? Meet 200% 300% 400% buy buying copys of your diamond for one emerald and trade looping for infinite emeralds.
Netherite armour has knock back resistance so it’s helpful if ur bridging over a ravine then a zombie attacks you, you have a less chance of falling off and blast mining is faster you can get 2 netherite ingots at y15 in 5-7 mins

In my opinion, after using it for a while, I can’t say full Netherite is worth it, if for the single reason that the material is extremely rare and finite, even more so than diamond. Why go through all that effort to get something which can be destroyed by pretty much anything but lava, or despawn, when I can simply make a villager trading area and be offered unlimited diamond tools and armor from Armorers, Weaponsmiths, and Toolsmiths?
