Thanks so much for this review! I saw the ad you mentioned several weeks ago, and wondered if it was really worth it. Figured probably not. Then today decided to check it out again and luckily your video came up. I was interested in the long distance aspect, but now I know it doesn't do that, so won't bother. Thanks again. 👍
@@mtnwmn Yeah I was duped in when I bought them. I was out using mine to sight in my 22. And wasn’t able to see my hits at 50 yards. So I decided to make this video.
@@hobonickel840 I bought my wife a SOLO VTX monocular from Sportsman’s Wearhouse years ago. It’s only about 4 inches long, crystal clear optical, and not a budget buster. I think back then I bought it on sale for about $ 150.oo normally around $ 189.99.
@@cognac8297 Sorry, can’t help you there. With the differences between my eyes. I can’t seem to use bino’s without a lot of eye fatigue. So I stick with mono’s.
I wish I would have watched before purchasing 4 of these. Nothing like advertised (as George explained). I too will be giving them away. My 6 and 8 year old nephews will think they are a lot cooler than I do.
I never got a chance to see through my star scope. It arrived broken 2 months ago. They said they sent another scope twice. But we never got it. Now they won't even talk to us. They have no intention of replacing the scope or reimbursement. Stay away from Starscope. It's all bullshit.
Starscope is now the new Opti-Hawk. Star scope can't sell their shitty product because of the reviews. So they changed the name. Don't buy Opti Hawk. It's absolutely a scam.
@georgewilliamssr5230 The bastards banned me from the customer service web site. You'll never get your money back. I ordered one. It arrived broken 3 months ago.
Thank you I was seconds away from buying one
There’s an expression, “If it sounds too good to be true….” Well, you know.
Why does everything have to be a scam nowadays. 😒
Thanks for the heads up. ✌️

Your welcome.
I wish I saw this before I purchased!
@@jillseward7954 I’m sorry you didn’t. They are still running the same scam ad. Sometimes they use a different name, but it’s still the same junk.
I'm looking for some good binos

Yeah, I thought they would be good Xmas stocking stuffers. And turns out, that’s pretty much what they are good for.
