This was definitely the truest comparison I've ever seen. The other asset channels are always unfaithful, they reduce the real quality of Forza, for example, to try to deceive that Forza has no graphical quality whatsoever.
Don't misunderstand, racing games mostly removed fatal physical damage cause it would have been a pain to deal with, beamng is not exactly a racing game it's a driving Sim basically so of course it has more realistic features, you can't compare the 2 types of games it's not fair
That's not the actual reason, the reason they don't add realistic damage is because car brands don't want their cars to be shown as insecure or dangerous, this is bad marketing for the brand, same thing happens with GTA games, brands don't want to be associated with crime. There are some exceptions like Grid 2, it has amazing damage physics, not exactly realistic but pretty detailed and well done, the developers really took a risk doing those physics but they somehow were approved by the car brands

Yes the engine is extremely well made and powerful and yes what they achieved is amazing, but the actual precision and "correctness" of the driving is completely off. The physics are too bouncy at even low speeds, they are unprecise, unpredictable and shaky. The devs have implemented countless dapeners and suppression systems to counter act the physics being janky as hell when actually just driving but that doesn't magically fix it. It's a crashing sim with a pretty good physical simulation of each individual component. Modern day computing isn't at the point of real time BIM simulations nor will their tech ever be fully accurate. If you want actual driving simulation to proper learn racing and car dynamics / control, go play ACC, AC's successor.

At least there is damage, unlike all the other games except BeamNG... Which means that if you hit a wall, it'd be miles better than, say, Forza Horizon 5 with how toned down that game is.
I played forza 5 straight after Beam NG once. Forza was instantly un uninstalled. Atleast AC is an awesome trackday sim tho, where to be fair the idea is not to hit things :)

I find the mud test in NFS is impressive, you can see the water splashing out of the tires.

If you ignore the passion of fans, BeamNG has the best physics and NFS Unbound the best graphics. Although Assetto Corsa mastered some designs like rain droplets and cockpits.
bro u need contexts forza and unbound: player press w and goooooooo beamng drive: detailed simulation of of bodies replicating real life physics as closely as possible assetto corsa: simulation of cars reaction with the track, how u break where u break how isbthe track condition how are the tyres how torque is applied. its natural for forza and unbound to play with illusions and assetto to ignore out of track stuffs. we are lucky that we have so many choices nowadays.
If you look at pictures instead of reading, choose Forza or NFS, if you don't care too much aboit pretty pictures then get BeamNG or Assetto, BeamNG for physics, Asetto Corsa for realistic driving scenarios
Realistic doesn’t equal fun in a lot of aspects in car games. There is a “simulation damage” in forza which makes your car break down from crashes and damages the engine and transmission and tires etc.. And it’s not fun. It’s a game, I want to enjoy my cars without having to worry about them breaking down or my tires wearing out because i wanted to do some drifting

They can’t properly damage models cause of real car brands licensing Which is also why beamng, GTA games and Wreckfest have fictional brands inspired from real games
They are improving it with time The focus was to have a stable game with that revolutionary soft body physics style. Also they still are a small company and they have not AAA games personnel and money.
Why does graphics matter if your physics are absolute garbage? I would rather a GTA 6 with realistic physics and mediocre graphics than the opposite way around
