BeamNG devs: Hey! You aren't supposed to go in the water! It'll destroy your engine if you don't have a snorkel installed!
The way all the other cars float above the ground at a set height, while the BeamNG car actually moves like a real car.
This was definitely the truest comparison I've ever seen. The other asset channels are always unfaithful, they reduce the real quality of Forza, for example, to try to deceive that Forza has no graphical quality whatsoever.

@@calem-ari6222 Sorry but the actual driving dynamics and physics are garbage in beam. Yes the engine is extremely well made and powerful and yes what they achieved is amazing, but the actual precision and "correctness" of the driving is completely off. The physics are too bouncy at even low speeds, they are unprecise, unpredictable and shaky. The devs have implemented countless dapeners and suppression systems to counter act the physics being janky as hell when actually just driving but that doesn't magically fix it. It's a crashing sim with a pretty good physical simulation of each individual component. Modern day computing isn't at the point of real time BIM simulations nor will their tech ever be fully accurate. If you want actual driving simulation to proper learn racing and car dynamics / control, go play ACC, AC's successor.

the problem is then you need a 5090ti to run it well

BeamNG is great as is. A game doesnt need graphics to be better
I enjoy the hell out of videos like this. It's just so fun to see how different game devs go with designing their game, their styles they implement into the game and so on. Love it
Also forgot to mention, a quick tip. Always use the cars that come with beamng. They are way more detailed with a much higher poly count and will showcase the game and damage much better

@@SoylentGamer BeamNG is being updated every day. Assetto is a game that hit the store 11 years ago and got it's last physics improvement in 2016, while also being a sim for driving and not crashing. Leave it alone.
At least there is damage, unlike all the other games except BeamNG...
Which means that if you hit a wall, it'd be miles better than, say, Forza Horizon 5 with how toned down that game is.

@@boing7679ac is the best. Doesnt look all that good in the video but trust me with content manager and neck fx its the most satisfying and realistic cockpit cam. Especially when drifting
I find the mud test in NFS is impressive, you can see the water splashing out of the tires.

Cars in water should be 1 beamng, 2 Forza 5, 3 NFS and 4 AC. Overall cars in water were pretty bad

Shouldve used the fictional cars in beamng for the crashes mods like that never have good damage compared to the official cars

Oh you crashed? Oh let's just swap out the mesh instantly so it pops into this pre-designed damaged state. So unrealistic 😂 typical lazy AAA developers can't do anything right
They can’t properly damage models cause of real car brands licensing
Which is also why beamng, GTA games and Wreckfest have fictional brands inspired from real games

The focus was to have a stable game with that revolutionary soft body physics style.
Also they still are a small company and they have not AAA games personnel and money.
It's a simulator, not a childish arcade game to satisfy your crave for eye candy
Why does graphics matter if your physics are absolute garbage? I would rather a GTA 6 with realistic physics and mediocre graphics than the opposite way around
