I have a membership to both Sam's and Costco but I'm definitely Sam's team. As a mom of 6 who is currently taking chemo treatments the amazing amount of free shipping items at Sam's vs Costco just doesn't begin to compare. Blessings to all.
The reason why Sam's club has so many snack options is because the schools middle school and high school have accounts with them for concessions for sports
I think if you do this type of video again it might be best to either buy products from both places and do a comparison or just browse and compare with legit prices. This video was biased, which is fine, but it wasn't a real comparison video.
I love your hauls, but you sounded super bias for costco. I have a membership for both, each place has different items I buy. When you go in comparing, don't put down the store, you haven't been in for 10 years. Even though I have both memberships, some stuff is better at Sam's over Costco and vise versa. Costco has more keto items, but Sam's has better price and tasting seafood. When you compare stores next time, be more open to each. I've watched you for a while, and this is the first video, that actually aggravates me.
Oh wow your Sam's club is very small! Sam's club girl all the way here! Our Sam's club has wayyyyyyy more than the one you went to! Tons of different types of granola bars, fig bars, cliff bars, fruit leather, pouches, TONS of diff trail mixes, etc!
I love Costco for the special buys and the organic items but I also shop at Sam’s club for concessions for high school band events and it is not as crowded. I love you but I could hear your nose turned up during your video
I do both Costco and Sam’s Club. Each offers their “unique something”. Though our Sam’s club is much larger and has a bigger selection than our Costco. No doubt Jia you are a die hard Costco fan. 😂 It was in your voice the entire video. I’m not mad about it though, I love your shop with me videos and that’s what got me hooked on them too.
I was too, like dont talk about my store 😂😂 I tried Costco and it doesnt do it for me. My Sam's Club is a lot bigger than her. The Market brand and Sam's choice is really good.
Although I like Costco more because it carries more of the overall things that I buy, I stilll enjoy going to Sam's for other things as well. Also I like going to other stores as well for special different things and love it when I find something new thaat everybody loves. It makes fun what normally is boring. Thanks for all of the hard work you put into doing the haul videos!
I’m a Sam’s Club lover, one thing to know is different locations sale different things. I’m located in the west coast so the things I buy at my store is not the same as the things I get when I’m down south. Plus the customer service at my local Sam’s is way better than the customer service at my local Costco. Oh the chips at Sam’s are cheaper than your local grocery stores, plus the bags are fuller.
I appreciate that they treat their employees well, but I still shop where I am getting the best deal! I shop Costco, Sams and BJ’s, getting the best deals each has to offer. Personally, Costco is still my favorite because the Costco brand is often better than the name brand.
I have both memberships and the reason is some things I get at Sam’s I can’t get at Costco and some things I get at Costco I can’t get at Sam’s, but I do love them both. I have to admit Costco clothes section is way bigger but when Sam’s mark down their clothes... girl it’s a shopping fest. LoL. ~Keesha~
OMG, this video is right on time, great minds think alike. I needed to get bulk candy for fundraising and to my surprise Costco's candy selection was very limited. I never knew this because I never had to buy candy in bulk on a regular basis before. Our Sam's Club and Costco are in the same shopping complex right next door to each other. I went into Sam's club and used the free one day trial pass and found that Sam's Club had an entire row dedicated to candy. Since I was there, I decided to do some price comparisons. I also noticed that there was a vast difference in the shopper demographic even though the stores were right next to each other. Majority of our Sam's Club shoppers were African Americans/Hispanics and Indian. I noticed most of the Indians were purchasing the candy in bulk for business purposes. Majority of our Costco shoppers were Asian, Caucasian and Indian, very few African Americans. I must say I was thrilled to find a 6 foot African American Nutcracker in Sam's Club, I have never seen ethnic decor in Costco. It makes sense as the demographic isn't there to support such purchases. I am now a proud card holder of both Sam's Club and Costco. Each store will serve a different purpose for my shopping needs.
I actually like both but you cannot make a true comparison with words like: “I think...” I would’ve gotten maybe 10 items; staples milk, bread, juice toilet paper, paper towels, etc. and compared those items. From the start it sounded like there was already bias so nothing was going to change your mind anyway! Great try though.😊
I cannot fathom paying almost $6 per pound for ground beef; omg! That’s crazy. We get beef from a local farmer and it comes out to $2.74 a pound. I know not everyone has access to that, but grass fed is not really that much better for paying that much....corn fed beef is where it’s at. Just an Iowan speaking here 😜 🌽
The organic eggs at Costco aren’t pasture raised. Didn’t know Sams had that, love it! Also the poopourri is a good deal! It’s normally like $10 for a much smaller bottle!!!
Sorry Jia I like your Costco hauls, but for me I will always be a Sam’s club shopper, I really do fine great deals every month and I am from Chicago so I am use to both. That’s the candy aisle always. But we can agree to disagree but Sam’s all the way. Member mark is there brand which is good.
I think the size is pretty comparable but it depends on the store. Yes that candy is always there. We just got our first time membership in July because it's 2 miles from us and we are presently surprised that some of the stuff is cheaper like snacks. The soups are good but we tend d to prefer a lot of Costco ready made just put in the oven food. So we now split our shopping between them.
Team Costco, girl I had the blues when you said Sams time, oh noooo my Queen Costco ❤️, seems I need to get my card my son got me in his Sams membership and “sacrifice “ myself lol 😂, but I’m sure it will be fun too!!! Thanks for sharing your experience, and counting the days for the Toy comparison video, got 4 grandkids that expect Santa will pass by my house and the Three Kings we celebrate here 👍🏼
I only have a Sam's club in my area and have never been to a Costco since the nearest one is two hours away but anywho fave thing about Sam's club is the scan and go app Love it
I definitely appreciate your effort to compare both stores! I loved the video, and can agree with some that comparisons could have been different. Like the eggs you compared, the yellow pack at Sams was a 36 ct for $3.89 and you pointed out that Costco’s 18 pk was $2.86 and said it was cheaper, and the grape packaging could vary but what about the net weight? I shop at Sams and our family has been with them since 2000, but I’m just starting to shop there myself for my family of 3 and I love it for meat, water, some snacks, bread, dairy products, and cheese I also shop at Aldi or Walmart for the rest. Thank you again for the video, I can’t wait to see that toy comparison!! 😊
So I’m team BJ’s and Sam’s Club. The membership for Costco is just too expensive. As I’m only shopping for my husband an myself it works for us. I got the Sam’s membership on a promo offer. I buy all organic meat and fish from both Whole Foods and TraderJoe’s. Thanks for sharing!
I tried Sam's last year because I had a Groupon that made it basically free, I didn't renew. At Sam's they look cheaper on the outside, but often the packaging is slightly smaller and when you do the cost per. item it's much cheaper at Costco. Costco also has a better food court, better quality food, better clothes, and nicer workers. The ONLY thing I like about Sam's is that you can order everything online and pick-up in store. Costco is the clear winner for me.
I have memberships to both. I appreciate how Costco packages their chicken. No extra work to separate pieces when I get home. But I will.say Sam's is really consistent on what they carry per store. Each store can carry different brands or different items. My family loves the snack section in Sam's. But Costco definitely has more organic/all natural selections. I seem to have a heavier bill Costco too. Oh! But the samples are way better at Costco. I guess it just depends what the family needs to decide which one I go to. Stay blessed!!
I LOVE my SAMS!!! SAMS always have a lot of candy and snacks cause they have a lot of Scholls and business that use that kind of stuff at there functions.
I went to Costco For the first time yesterday the way you feel about sams is the way I feel about Costco 😂😂😂 severely underwhelmed . But hey to each their own 🤷🏽♀️ awesome video ! Keep em coming !
It looks like the grapes container at Sams was deeper vs Costco container was longer. So they could possibly be the same in portion size. Do you think? 🤷🏽♀️ I could be totally off.
You will benefit from using the keep app. I've been harping to you about it for some time, but when you are comparatively shopping like this, it seriously helps to know what a good price is! You can even share the list with family to ensure they're sticking to your price point. It's time, Jia!
I was with Sam’s club card for years and this is my first Costco card. My family loves the Costco food court. I like both stores BUT Sam’s club bakery puts Costco to shame!😂😂😂 I miss Sam’s double chocolate and blueberry muffins. All their baked goods are AMAZING! Costco baked goods are very meh. The cookies are decent though.
I'm glad you got the prime rib-eye on video (with the cap on) because I noticed about a year ago that one of the Costco stores I was shopping at started removing the caps off them and selling them separately at roughly $14.99/lb (now they're about $18.99/lb). The prime rib-eyes always had the caps on in the past, even when they had the caps for sale separately at a much higher price than the whole rib-eye steaks. I stopped buying prime rib-eye from that particular Costco but then I started seeing other Costco stores start doing the same thing. Now I refuse to buy any prime rib-eye from Costco if they are missing the caps (the tastiest and most tender part of the rib-eye). I encourage others to stop buying them without the caps as well because a rib-eye is not a rib-eye without the caps. The Costcos I noticed this happening at are in Stockton, Modesto, and Manteca CA (maybe a few others as well in the same vicinity). Note: The USDA Choice still always has the caps on. This comment is just to make others aware of this practice which I consider to be deceptive considering how much prime rib-eyes cost.
I feel like my Costco is weak in the clothing section. It is huge and they have a lot of options but we hardly ever find anything we like. Sam's club has more options for the kids. Plus the section at my Sam's isnt much smaller than the section at Costco. All in all, we shop at both places for different things. I will say we do like the produce more at Costco though.
I have a membership at both. I recently signed up at Costco but have been with Sams for years and shop there frequently. Not all of the things that I regularly buy at Sams, are also available at Costco but what is also there at Costco is a lot higher in price by dollars and not cents like in your comparisons. Most things are more expensive at Costco in every one that I visited. Costco is like a giant Target and Sams like a giant Walmart I opted to keep both memberships because they do have a different variety of things. I’ve been to three Costco’s near me and I still don’t understand why people pump it up so greatly like it’s the best thing since sliced bread. I like it but don’t go crazy over it like many people seem to do.
team both.. my mom and I share memberships to Sam's and Costco . I usually get my meats from Costco but we do appreciate the variety of options Sam's offers on other products. I keep photos of prices at both stores bcus ya girl always wants the best deal...this was a great video. Thank You♡
Yes - exactly what I have noticed there too. We are a business so I go in at the early business hours. Our Sams is packed with trucks, vans, church vans, etc. lined up with trailers, box trucks, etc. waiting to pick up their food. I don't see that at Costco. I'm a member of both.
I have a memberships to Sam's & Costco. I shop at both quite frequently bc they carry different things we need/use. Sam's meat is really good. We usually find better meat deals at Sam's than Costco. Sam's also has the Scan & Go all which I use all the time. Also, my cash back membership deal is way better at Sam's than Costco, and I spend equally at both throughout the year (not their credit card deals, we don't have those).
Jia! You are my best friend but sis, dont come for Sistah Sam, it is a great store and my store is bigger than yours but great selection was ar yours . "Cost-more" or whatever does nothing for me. 😂😂😂 I love your videos with "Cost-more" but I can buy clothes elsewhere. Lol
Costco and Sam’s are not far from me, but I go to Sam’s monthly. I order online and they pull everything, store it in the cart if it’s dry goods, freezer and fridge. All I have to do is wheel it to my truck (unless I forgot something). Keeps me from just picking up stuff we don’t need. They sell Kerrygold at my Sams for $7.58 got 17.6 Oz. I haven’t tried Costco yet but I love watching your hauls.
Team Costco!!! ❤️❤️!! Mainly because I work there. But also because of how much neater Costco’s are.. how they treat employees/pay us and so on and so on. I’ve been to Sams. Everyone likes Sams because you can get the “50 box of Funyuns”. It’s basically an oversized Walmart is what I try to tell people. But yeah.. How I see it is heavily processed food you can get at Sams vs. Healthier options at Costco. Team Costco!! 😉❤️ but of course... to each their own😌
I also don't know if someone else mentioned it, but for why Sam's Club seems to have a lot more packaged for individual sale items (like candy, and restaurant supplies - you probably didn't go over there), is because t hey cater to more commercial businesses. My mom gets a lot of her officer stuff in bulk there. Especially like kitchen and stuff for their staff areas there.
If you want snack foods, look to see if you have a Business Center Costco near you. Tons of candies, snacks, drinks, frozen foods and a huge walk in fridge area. It is meant for restaurants, hotels and food prep, but they let anyone with a costco membership in.
I like both, but our Sam's club offers grocery pickup and our Cosco does not. Also Sam's scan and go app is really great. Otherwise I think they're pretty comparable.
I'm a die hard Costco girl, I love the organic and natural selection! You just can't beat the Kirkland brand! But it was interesting to see Sam's club.
We have Sam's and Costco here. The Sam's locations are closer to me. I did go to Costco once on employee's night. I price compared and found Sam's to be cheaper on the items I frequently buy. They did both have similar offerings but Costco doesn't sell some of the items I get at Sam's. Does your mom have a membership to both clubs or does she prefer Sam's? Do you know why? Just curious.
Sams club is catered more towards businesses that's why they sale candy like that and some of there paper products are geared towards businesses, I used to work there. But in my area Costco is more expensive then Sams club but I shop at both for different reasons.
Great video! Personally, I'm a Costco fan too. Then again, I live in the San Francisco Bay Area where there aren't any Sam's Club locations. Still, I travel often and have stopped by Sam's quite a bit. Costco just has a better selection of items and better quality for similar items. Yet, most of the things that I like are less expensive at Costco.
Sam’s also has organic foods as well, but organic foods is the same as the regular food. Organic is just a marketing strategy. I like Sam’s and have been considering getting a Costco card. When I called Costco to ask them to give me some insight the only thing the man said was we have more organic and we are family oriented. He also said they don’t allow you to use anything but visa, and you’re not allowed to buy anything without a membership. At least Sam’s will allow you to do that. In the area I live in the Costco’s are like 20 to 30 minutes away.
Sometimes what I do when I try to save and budget, I download the flipp app and it shows me all the groceries in my area and their weekly ad and I compare what items are cheaper at stores. It might be some work but it’s amazing when I find incredibly cheap prices on veggies or meat and fruits at certain stores. Another thing I do is that I utilize store apps that have coupons for digital ones and I use those along with coupons from coupons.com.
We've been shopping at Costco for over 20 years until they start taking products out like Unsalted 5 lbs peanuts, can soups, some Jellies, and much more. Also, our Costco store does not replinish on Bird food and there is days if not a whole week waiting for some products this forced us to visit Sam's club, we saved some much money for instance Dog food 57 lbs for $18 a top brand vs at costco $25 for 55 lbs. We found the steaks, chicken, frozen entrees were lower at Sam's club by $10 or more. We're cancelling our Costco membership. As far as the costco employees are such unfriendly vs Sam's club friendly employees this explains why Costco pays more to their employees. They seemed so busy when we ask questions about missing products at Costco. We came out of Sam's club saving over $80 on similar items. Is 20 miles from our home vs 6 miles driving to Costco; we believe the savings pays much more than just gas. Sam's club new fans here, we love the savings!!!! No internet to check products at Costco go figure such old school. Great internet access at Sam's club!!!! I love technology!
I'm team Sam's Club. I never been to Costco physically. Only through you...lol. I have been to BJ's...wasn't impressed. You had me crackin up...everytime you found a better deal at Sam's you sounded disappointed. Girl you can cheat on Costco every now and then...LOL😂😂
Sam's always has that row of candy but businesses buy from them a lot and people use it for fundraising as well. I've worked for a Hilton brand Hotel that bought some things from Sam's as well as when I worked for a group home and a school. I did the shopping at Sam's for all 3 places. Also Sam's does have their own brand. It's called members mark. The deer at Sam's were a 3 pack. Also the instant pots you compared were different types with different functions. Our Sam's has the same carts as your cosco. I can't believe Sam's had no samples when you went! We don't have a Costco here so I've never been.
I love Costco! It’s pretty close to me, so I go once a week. I always fill up my gas tank. The savings alone on a price per gallon pays for my executive membership two fold. I absolutely love the price on eggs, the ciabatta rolls, basil pesto, dog treats, spices/salt and pepper, wine, block cheese, and the new kitchen wares that you better pick up when you see them or they will be gone. Loved this video 😃
At Sams they have veggie straws must have been out. I believe not all Sams Clubs because we have organic things at ours nuts and dehydrated fruit. So things are different
"...Tilapia is a made up fish... hahaha! That made me lol. My Costco carries English muffins but it may be a regional thing. The Cretors popcorn may have been marked up because there's a coupon coming 10/30. I remember reading that Costco markets to the upper middle class market and Sams to the middle middle class market. Of course there's overlap.
S Hartman: English muffins are a nationwide thing... A COSTCO's mandatory item. I love Costco being and upper middle class shop (i.e. $6.99 for the same product) vis-a-vis Sam's middle-middle class for $6.98 (an equivalent product).. My general view, nothing to do with particular products... LoL... Moral of the Story: if you don't pay at the bridge, you will pay at the gate... In other words it boils down whether the membership differential of some 15-20 bucks is that much of a value to a corresponding member vis-a-vis quality of the product(s) we are looking for.. The all (BJ's included) have to be competitive, hence picking products w certain twists and variety.. Go and Shop Folks.. this Continent values the economy... love you all...
Great video, thank you. I am a Costco fan 👍 Never been to Sam's club. I love the clothes at Costco, best quality and awesome prices. Chocolate for gifts, perfume for gifts, we can spend literally hours at Costco lol. 👍😊
Jia You could do a haul anywhere and I'd watch 😆😘😍 but I like Costco and Sam's Club. Some things are better and somethings not so much. Each have their pros amd cons. And I do love Costcos clothing options verses Sam's.
The price per ounce was the same for English muffins at Costco and Sams! You just got more and paid a little more at Costco. But after comparing they’re still the same price per muffin.
Im team Sams thats all we have in Middle Ga , my children eat Gluten free so I dont buy much processed food but I do love all the options . Rumor has it that we are gonna get a Costcos now if we do I will be a member of both because I love the deals at both & definitely a fan of bulk shopping.I watch your costcos like we have one here the closest one to me is over 1.5 hrs 😬
I shop at Sam's Club a lot, and haven't been to Costco in years mainly because there isn't one close to me. When I did shop at both I think Costco has more organic options than Sam's Club.
You were negative on Sams club right from the start. I am a member of BOTH clubs. I have found that in this area (I am in Florida) the Sams Clubs are cheaper than Costco. They have some "Sams Choice" brands, but I find those brands are good too. Some things are quite a bit more expensive at Costco. Like on the Salad kits for example. I wouldn't pay the price Costco had on their salad kits. Sams club is much cheaper. The milk, the eggs, etc. are all about the same. I buy them in both stores. I like some of the pre-made foods at Costco like the street taco's, scalloped potatoes, things like that. Sams club has some of that pre made food too. I get the enchilada's from Sams. Costco has a great cheese selection. Costco does have the "Kirkland" brand, which is good. I think I would prefer a name brand if the price isn't that different. Sams also has fresh squeezed orange juice. You can watch them squeeze it right there in the store. Haven't seen that at Costco. Also I think I have traveled around the state looking at different Costco's and the different stores DO have different items. I have looked for a certain type spaghetti sauce I can't find at ANY Costco I have been to, although I see it hauled all the time on You Tube. There are other products that are like that too. Each store is different. Oh - and about all the candy at Sams - - - ever been there first thing in the morning? At my local Sams Club there are trucks (even big boxed trucks), LINED UP getting candy, snacks, etc. for the football concession stands, Boy Scouts, Vending Machines for the local University, The PRISON trucks getting their food, Hospitals, and even old folks homes. I was surprised at all the trucks and vans lined up to buy bulk at the pick up. I think Sams caters to a lot of businesses. Just stuff I have observed. Not a You Tuber. Just a shopper. I do like your videos, but this one was very biased.
Hey Jia, I can't afford a Sam's or Costco card, so can you do another store. I'm a single mom on a tight budget. You are a beast, walking in these stores with your camera. . I know ppl stare and ask,"what you doing!". Just wanted to thank you for doing this for us!!!! #youtubevlogger #thankyoujia
Just a tip always look in the sales flyers like in the newspaper or sometimes on Groupon I got my BJ's membership for $25 for the whole year because I use the coupon for membership
Hi I was wonder if you have a smart and final in your area? They’re a warehouse type store and you don’t t need a membership to shop there. I pray God blesses you financially!!
Costco has a bread called La Broiche, and first time trying it, was soooo good, used it as a french toast and now won't buy other bread for that reason. It comes in a twin pack for around $6 but makes french toast a LOT more better than texas toast believe it or not. So I cooked a LOT of french toast and froze it, all you do is put some butter between the slices, in a microwave, and bamm, breakfast! I make my own syrup as well. Pecan butter flavored. I have not seen a Sam's club in over 17 years to date, so don't know if I should give it a try. Waiting on your comparison...
Costco in Northern California is much cheaper. Has a plithirol of organics compared to Sam's and my Costco has Thompsons english muffins. Mine does not have grass fed beef however. I order my grass fed with butcher box. I asked about the grass fed and was told they carried it but it didn't sell. Shocked because my Costco has the highest organics in the U.S. It's also the highest grossing store next to the Utah Costco.
I always said that Sam's is the mother store of Walmart's and Costco is the mother store of Kroger/king scoopers. I learned over the years that some items you can find at one store then the other. Also I lived in a few different states so even the state you live in plays apart of what you well find. Some items are cheaper at one store then another but always keep in mind what you well find on sale for the month. I found that you can find something a Costco in Colorado that you can't find in Tennessee and I can find something in a Costco in Tennessee that I can't find in a Colorado store. I also seen that something in a Sam's Club in Tennessee I can find cheaper then at a Sam's or Costco but not in the state of Colorado even though the sale tax is higher in Tennessee then in Colorado. So if you are able to travel look at different store locations.
I feel like you went into Sam's with your mind already made up that Sam's was not as good as Costco. I prefer Sam's.
This video reminds me of the new girl at work who is always talking about how she did things at her former job :)
😂😂
💀🤣
🤣🤣 hilarious
Right
😂😂😂
I have a membership to both Sam's and Costco but I'm definitely Sam's team. As a mom of 6 who is currently taking chemo treatments the amazing amount of free shipping items at Sam's vs Costco just doesn't begin to compare. Blessings to all.
May God protect you
The reason why Sam's club has so many snack options is because the schools middle school and high school have accounts with them for concessions for sports
All types of businesses do such as churches, stores, restaurants, schools, ballparks etc.
It's epic!!!
If you want to do a true comparison, please compare the per lb/per ounce price. As a finance person, you should understand that.
🙌🙌
She can't do math. And she doesn't have an open mind.
I've watched you for a while, and this is the first video, that actually aggravates me.
Renee Woodall you’re letting a comparison video that has nothing to do with you... bother you? girl... that should no way “aggravate” you 😂
It’s just her opinion, not that big of a deal.
Oh wow your Sam's club is very small! Sam's club girl all the way here! Our Sam's club has wayyyyyyy more than the one you went to! Tons of different types of granola bars, fig bars, cliff bars, fruit leather, pouches, TONS of diff trail mixes, etc!

Why was I in my feelings while you were talking about Sam's?
I was too, like dont talk about my store 😂😂 I tried Costco and it doesnt do it for me. My Sam's Club is a lot bigger than her. The Market brand and Sam's choice is really good.
Not hard feelings ladies 😂🥰 one thing I forgot to mention are the cakes at Sams club. They are bomb💣
Not hard feelings ladies 😂🥰 one thing I forgot to mention are the cakes at Sams club. They are bomb💣
No hard feelings ladies😂😘! One thing I forgot to mention but will next time is that Sams club bakery is bomb💣! There vanilla cake is delish!
@@MarriageMotherhood Their bakery is wonderful

Plus the customer service at my local Sam’s is way better than the customer service at my local Costco.
Oh the chips at Sam’s are cheaper than your local grocery stores, plus the bags are fuller.
Team Costco. I like to support them because I like how they treat their employees.
I'm with you 100%
I appreciate that they treat their employees well, but I still shop where I am getting the best deal! I shop Costco, Sams and BJ’s, getting the best deals each has to offer. Personally, Costco is still my favorite because the Costco brand is often better than the name brand.
What a stupid remark. Have you brought anything made in China?
Lol you guys need stop acting like you actually care about how companies treat their employees
You can tell right away you like Costco better 🤗🤪
I have both memberships and the reason is some things I get at Sam’s I can’t get at Costco and some things I get at Costco I can’t get at Sam’s, but I do love them both. I have to admit Costco clothes section is way bigger but when Sam’s mark down their clothes... girl it’s a shopping fest. LoL.

Same reason 👍
OMG, this video is right on time, great minds think alike. I needed to get bulk candy for fundraising and to my surprise Costco's candy selection was very limited. I never knew this because I never had to buy candy in bulk on a regular basis before. Our Sam's Club and Costco are in the same shopping complex right next door to each other.
Just an Iowan speaking here 😜 🌽
They say grass raised is grain finished. Grass raised and grass finished is the type with supposed health benefits.
Both are hits and misses. I love Sam’s because of Convenience the scan and go is life no lines no wait. The meat is great quality at Sam’s.
The organic eggs at Costco aren’t pasture raised. Didn’t know Sams had that, love it! Also the poopourri is a good deal! It’s normally like $10 for a much smaller bottle!!!
Im glad you can afford organic and top brands but be realistic mpst familys cant.
Organic stuff is just regular crap remarketed at a higher price. Its stupid and people fall for it
Organic is grown on farm....down the street from farm where pesticides are dusted...wind blows pesticides all over the"organic"too...waste of money
Me 2
I think the size is pretty comparable but it depends on the store.
Thanks for sharing your experience, and counting the days for the Toy comparison video, got 4 grandkids that expect Santa will pass by my house and the Three Kings we celebrate here 👍🏼
I only have a Sam's club in my area and have never been to a Costco since the nearest one is two hours away but anywho fave thing about Sam's club is the scan and go app Love it
Yes! So much quicky & it helps me keep track of how much I'm spending.
Yes! I love this so much. There will be lines going back half of the store. And here I am just scanning my cart and walking right out the door.
I saw lots of shade and bias in this video and I'm not a member at either establishments
Books4LitSouls one of the most biased reviews I’ve ever seen 🙄.
A forest full.
Colette D yes! I said the same. BJ’s is the best. And the fact that they take manufacturers coupons on top of their own is awesome!
I love Costco. The clothes hands down is why I stay with Costco.
Yes I agree
Btw tilapia is not a made up fish it's here in the Caribbean we catch it with fishing hook
Juanita I thought the same thing, cause I’ve been eating tilapia since I was a kid.
Same thing here in the Philippines
That's our second "national fish"
I have memberships to both. I appreciate how Costco packages their chicken. No extra work to separate pieces when I get home. But I will.say Sam's is really consistent on what they carry per store. Each store can carry different brands or different items. My family loves the snack section in Sam's. But Costco definitely has more organic/all natural selections. I seem to have a heavier bill Costco too. Oh! But the samples are way better at Costco. I guess it just depends what the family needs to decide which one I go to. Stay blessed!!
I totally agree
I have both memberships to Sam's Club and Costco. And both of them have there points. Both have high and low prices on certain things.
Sams Club does samples and they have sample kiosks
It looks like the grapes container at Sams was deeper vs Costco container was longer. So they could possibly be the same in portion size. Do you think? 🤷🏽♀️
I could be totally off.
Shana Stirgus I was wondering this too so I tried to look it up. I know Sam’s come in 3lb containers. It looks like Costco’s come in 4lb containers.
Nyxm31 thanks I guess I’m not that crazy...u noticed the same thing.
Costco grapes come in a 4 lb container.
Libby Reed thanks!!! Costco wins
You will benefit from using the keep app. I've been harping to you about it for some time, but when you are comparatively shopping like this, it seriously helps to know what a good price is! You can even share the list with family to ensure they're sticking to your price point. It's time, Jia!
This app sounds interesting. It's called Keep?
@@anasazirose yes; Google keep!
Thank You♡
Our Sam’s Club (Mississippi) does have Kerrygold butter and Annie’s fruit snacks! We are getting a Costco in the spring. SO EXCITED!
hahahha you be like Sam´s club time!! Nahh that sounds not right!! your are aweosome and so funny .... Love your videos girl!!!
Sam's is geared towards stores/businesses that resale the items.
Yes - exactly what I have noticed there too. We are a business so I go in at the early business hours. Our Sams is packed with trucks, vans, church vans, etc. lined up with trailers, box trucks, etc. waiting to pick up their food. I don't see that at Costco. I'm a member of both.
Yes. I go to Sam's for our Church's cups and lids, etc. Costco is too "green" to sell that stuff.
Lol "its Sam's Club time" oh no i can't! Lol
I like them both, but I prefer the check out experience through the Sam's app. So easy to use and no standing in long lines at the cash register.
😉❤️ but of course... to each their own😌
And also Costco return policy you can’t beat!
I was literally just debating which membership to get this morning. Perfect timing 👌 thank you.
Gwendolynne nah, I don't think anyone else mentioned that 😂😂😂😂😂.
If you want snack foods, look to see if you have a Business Center Costco near you. Tons of candies, snacks, drinks, frozen foods and a huge walk in fridge area. It is meant for restaurants, hotels and food prep, but they let anyone with a costco membership in.
Team COSTCO!! Thank you Gia for putting the work into this video- so helpful! 😊
I love Sam's Club, but because you showed me what's inside Costco I am going to check what they have inside also...Thanks for sharing the video....
I like both, but our Sam's club offers grocery pickup and our Cosco does not. Also Sam's scan and go app is really great. Otherwise I think they're pretty comparable.
I have memberships for Sam's and Costco. I can say I save more coins when I shop at Sam's but I have certain items I have to get from Costco.
I'm a die hard Costco girl, I love the organic and natural selection! You just can't beat the Kirkland brand! But it was interesting to see Sam's club.
I love Costco because after I bought my first membership card they send me a check to pay for my membership card each year so it’s free.
Who cares as long as I get a good deal. I’m also not paying more for “organic” marketing.
Sams club is catered more towards businesses that's why they sale candy like that and some of there paper products are geared towards businesses, I used to work there. But in my area Costco is more expensive then Sams club but I shop at both for different reasons.
I have both memberships and I can’t give them up!
Creationinmotion4922 right. It’s like Target and Walmart. I’m shopping at both. Not giving up either.
Twila Sardinea Precisely 🤣
Jia you are the COSTCO Queen ! 👑
I love Sams Club. You have me interested in Costco but i❤️Sams
I don't have a Costco, so this was awesome seeing you shop in the only wholesale warehouse type store that is anywhere near me.
There are tons of Sams club hauls and shop with me out there (if you don't have a Costco) just search it on you tube!
@@BasketFullOfLaughs Yeah I watch some people. I just LOVE Jia's 'shop with me's' her style is unique and so entertaining to me!
I'm going to have to renew my Sam's membership now!
Sams club has better snacks and frozen foods. There’s more options.
Thank u so much for the comparisons I've been debating with which one to go with might do costco because I need healthier choices for the kids!
I love my Sam’s Club!! I enjoy shopping at Costco also. But they balance each other out for me.. key word is for me😊
Sam's always has that row of candy but businesses buy from them a lot and people use it for fundraising as well.
I am a Costco fan 👍
Never been to Sam's club.
Woah, the price of shrimp alone makes me want to convert to Sam's. I'm a pescatarian, so I get shrimp fairly often.
You need to go shopping at Walmart . It has been quite a while since we have seen you at Walmart.
I go all the time! But I will definitely start filming it
I shop at Sam's Club a lot, and haven't been to Costco in years mainly because there isn't one close to me.
😘😘😘 Many blessings to you
Just a tip always look in the sales flyers like in the newspaper or sometimes on Groupon I got my BJ's membership for $25 for the whole year because I use the coupon for membership
I live 25 minutes from Sam's ; I live 30 minutes from Costco. Costco has nicer clothes than Sam's .
omg you had me laughing everytime you saw junk food....every processed snack you can think of
I have Bj's, Sam's club, and Costco which is my least favorite lol. Bjs takes coupons which I love love love.
Lord look at the price per pound... The chicken is way cheaper at Sams.
BJ’s wholesale has the best of both. I got a costco membership to compare, and I was so disappointed.
Who pays 900.for a tree no money left for gifts lol!
