Happy new year I’m surprised you didn’t mention profusion ethereal and harvest pallets. Those were exceptional there were several textures including cream formula. I only paid five dollars each and they normally run 10. And Ccolor cosmetics had tremendous pallets this year! I am truly surprised the color has really stepped up their game with their pallets this year. I’m sure it must be difficult with all you have to review but thank you for all you do happy New Year’s
After your video singing the praises of LA Colors Lemon Drop palette I had to check it out. LOVE IT! Right now it is my daily go-to. Nice neutrals and the golds are flattering. I even enjoy the richly pigmented yellow.

I couldn't wait to try it out! Thanks to you, I finally tried a drugstore foundation, the Wet n Wild Photofocus Dewy in Porcelain, I don't see any difference with my expensive stuff! Isn't that GREAT!!!

My favorite palette under $10 was the ELF cookies and dream palette. It’s such a pretty blue palette and applies so easily. It could be a little more sparkly but the tones a beautiful . It was intro to eyeshadow with real color I was so used to neutrals and subtle colors. I also tried the ELF bite size palette but I didn’t like those .
My best palette find of the year was the small 'Wishing You' palette from Sephora's holiday line. There are 8 shadows, cool browns and roses, 5 mattes 3 shimmers, all for $8.00! This is my go to daily palette now. I bought 2 backups since it is limited edition. Highly recommended! I have a request Zabrena. Would you consider doing a video on eyeshadow brushes, what size and shape to choose for what look. I am overwhelmed by all the options out there and use the same 2 brushes over and over. I struggle with my deep set eyes have my eyelids look like black holes. Would be an interesting video - comparing different techniques for different shape/depth/short eyes from the same simple eyeshadow pallet. I volunteer my eyes! 🤣 Wore my LA Girl mascara today! Forgot to wear a primer (skipped eyeshadow) so had a little dotting from my upper lashes touching my oily eyelids, but I do love how simple and fast it is to apply and get out the door.
I finally got my hands on the colourpop stone cold fox eyeshadow palette for 25 bucks (35 shades though!) I have brown eyes and I like cool tones so this has been my go to and favorite for a while now!!!
Now that's a pretty palette. Always on the look out for eyeshadows that don't read orange or yellow. Is anyone else struggling to find drugstore shadows that are true neutrals, meaning not warm toned?

I found the Morphe 35xs no silent night pallette and I have worn it every day since I received it in the mail! It has been my favorite that I've ever found and it was $27 at Ulta, which I got discounted over the Christmas sale. I will watch your videos and use this palette in place of whatever palette you're using, and I have been able to create some beautiful looks with this! These eyeshadows are GORGEOUS, very pigmented, and last all day. Too faced. Christmas bake shoppe gift set. I completely adore all three palettes. My fave is sugar cookie. I found an amazing 4 pan palette from Hard Candy! They actually came out with a bunch in every color story. The quality was amazing in all except for the blue/teal palette. My favorite is the purple one called Punk. I was blown away 💜💜💜
I bought the Elf Rose Water and the Hot Jalapeño bite size palettes because you recommended the other 2 so highly (I have plenty of neutral palettes). They are AMAZING! Do you have the other Elf bite size palettes?
I've been enjoying Essence 6 pan palettes lately. Can't beat those for $3.99! I've also liked Colourpop Lust for Dusk, and while it's over $10, it's still a lovely, affordable palette. WNW old school palette in Silent Treatment is another favorite for cool toned neutrals. I actually found it at Dollar Tree back when everything was one dollar. Another great neutral palette is from C Color Cosmetics in Glamorous, $12. I've got several of their palettes, and really enjoy them. Their powder Contour palette has been great for neutral mattes, then I'll wear shimmer from my indie singles, or Flower Beauty Desert Lights palette. Haven't worn much colorful eyeshadow lately. I'm so happy you are talking about the LA Colors Lemon Drop palette because I absolutely love this palette. It is indeed incredible. I at first was like, "No, its a yellow. I hate yellow, I dont want it. I'm not buying it." But then I kept seeing it and it kept pestering me. For $2.50...I said, "Ah Hell..." I bought it and I really do love it. Funny how that happens. If your Viewers dont like the Wet n' Wild "Color me Sunshine" palette but they want something like it, I highly suggest they try LA Colors Lemon Drop because they will enjoy it. Another fantastic video! I started wearing Make-up back in the 1970s, yep back when only 2 shades were used, then in the '80s the trios were introduced. So to say the least I have seen may changes in the cosmetic industry. I laugh with My Sisters/Cousin that you are now showing the same applications of colour that we were taught when We were taken to the local Merle Norman shoppes to learn about Skincare/Make-Up, way back in the Make-Up Dark ages. LOL After all these years. I can say that the skincare instruction that We received as teenagers has stayed with Us. None of Us really look our true age. I hope that in the New Year, a few videos would be dedicated to review of skin care product lines. Now that I'm older I still revert to old habits, but now I switch/rotate between 3 lines of skin care products, Merle Norman, Lumene, & Eucerin. I'll use up one brand, then go to my next favorite. I tend to use the Lumene during the winter months - after all it was designed for the Harsh Scandanavian weather, Eucerin in the summer because it has a High SPF factor, and Merle Norman during Spring & Fall.
I found LA Colors Day to Night palettes at my Daiso for under $2.00 and I've been loving them. They also have a Glam Palette for $3.00. I was skeptical about it at first, but they are not bad.
I do have blue eyes (more a blue/grey because they are not that bright crisp look a lot of blue eyed people have, I guess that is blue grey?) Anyway, my eyes like yellows and oranges, but my skin does not. i have really struggled with how to make that work. My skin looks sickly if I wear those, even on my eyes (I don't wear a lot of makeup on rest of face, so the secret may be in that?). My eye balls also like red, but you know how red can sometimes be hard for anyone to pull off without looking like you are sick. I still feel lie it brightens my eyes to wear turquoise or certain purples, even tho that is not recommended, it makes my eyes brighter. I know most people aren't, and I am glad you posted one, but I am a big fan of LA Colors. It was what I started with, maybe 5 years ago (and in my 40's) when I just wanted to play and see if I would even like playing with or wearing eyeshadow, but I stay sick and wanted something fun, that wouldn't get me hurt but make me not feel so sick. Eye shadow has been a fun, maybe artistic, part of that (I don't go all out, but like to put certain colors together to see what they will do, and colorshift or duochrome seems to be my love language- in anything. I even have polishes, but am terrible and shaky at painting my nails. But anyway, I got some 1.00 LA Colors eyeshadow to ply with and never looked back. I play with everything now. except for a few gifts on sale, I have always stayed drugstore and maybe that seems to be why i have managed t make it work. If I had started with something higher end, I may not have been able to work with them as well? (I do LOVE Sydney Grace and I have a palette from Cosmic brushes. They are amazing, anything else was on clearance or drugstore). Anyway, I got to watch you first for my birthday and made it a happier day. Thankyou. Your light always lifts me up.Even when your little blessings are tearing things up, you just laugh. It makes me so happy. I want to take on joy like that and feel HIM in me better. I try to hard to fix things myself and I could tell anyone, that makes it harder to let HIM in. When I can't fix it and its way beyond me and I give up and beg God to handle it- AMAZING things happen!! Why can't I do it more. I have the Makeup revolution Nude Pallet, in Medium. And I got it for my Bday in March and can’t stop using it. So pretty and I believe it was $9. The only trick is to do your eyes first, there is fallout with the glitter.
My favorite eyeshadow palette find this year was Alter Ego's Harmony Palette. I really enjoyed some of the small 9 pan palettes I picked up from Colourpop, as well.

I think the most surprising find was the Hard Candy 4 pan little palette, I tried the one in green. It went in beautifully and lasted all day. Another great find was the Barry M cosmetics face palette (velvet?), random find on Amazon, but I’ve used it a ton this year. Great for travel. Not new, but Flower beauty’s Desert and Jungle lights (?) palettes are 2 of my favorites, reach for them often. Always appreciate Drugstore December and your application videos! ❤
My all time favorite from 2022 was not at all drugstore but it was the Dior Quint in Nude Dress. That is such a pretty everyday quint. You can even take it to night. But those are colors I adore. If you wear it a lot it is worth every penny.

I've got celiac disease and I have to have all gluten-free products it's a challenge to find makeup. Maybe you could do a video on gluten-free makeup for celiac people like me and many others. It takes so much time to research and find good gluten-free products.

Not under $10, but I finally broke down and got the Utopia palette from NYX earlier this year. 40 shadows for $35, not bad. I held off because the amount of shadows seemed excessive. I find myself reaching for this nearly every day!
My favorite is one small but great pallette. It's the Revlon Day To Night in 560/ Stylish. The shades are long-lasting, intense and the colours are beautiful, similar to PT.
I have a few of these and love them! Except for the Catrice palettes, I just thought they were way too powdery and too much fallout, especially the mattes. My skin looks sickly if I wear those, even on my eyes (I don't wear a lot of makeup on rest of face, so the secret may be in that?). My eye balls also like red, but you know how red can sometimes be hard for anyone to pull off without looking like you are sick. I still feel lie it brightens my eyes to wear turquoise or certain purples, even tho that is not recommended, it makes my eyes brighter.
I know most people aren't, and I am glad you posted one, but I am a big fan of LA Colors. It was what I started with, maybe 5 years ago (and in my 40's) when I just wanted to play and see if I would even like playing with or wearing eyeshadow, but I stay sick and wanted something fun, that wouldn't get me hurt but make me not feel so sick. Eye shadow has been a fun, maybe artistic, part of that (I don't go all out, but like to put certain colors together to see what they will do, and colorshift or duochrome seems to be my love language- in anything. I even have polishes, but am terrible and shaky at painting my nails. But anyway, I got some 1.00 LA Colors eyeshadow to ply with and never looked back. I play with everything now. except for a few gifts on sale, I have always stayed drugstore and maybe that seems to be why i have managed t make it work. If I had started with something higher end, I may not have been able to work with them as well? (I do LOVE Sydney Grace and I have a palette from Cosmic brushes. They are amazing, anything else was on clearance or drugstore).
Anyway, I got to watch you first for my birthday and made it a happier day. Thankyou. Your light always lifts me up.Even when your little blessings are tearing things up, you just laugh. It makes me so happy. I want to take on joy like that and feel HIM in me better. I try to hard to fix things myself and I could tell anyone, that makes it harder to let HIM in. When I can't fix it and its way beyond me and I give up and beg God to handle it- AMAZING things happen!! Why can't I do it more. I also found that lemon drop palette and wow! I agree I was shocked. I think it was $1.75, but I noticed they are around $3 now - still $3?!?!
Cool, that peppermint palette from Profusion was 1/2 off at Walmart. Score! It was $4.49 instead of $8.99. 😁

I have the Makeup revolution Nude Pallet, in Medium. And I got it for my Bday in March and can’t stop using it. So pretty and I believe it was $9. The only trick is to do your eyes first, there is fallout with the glitter.
My favorite eyeshadow palette find this year was Alter Ego's Harmony Palette. I really enjoyed some of the small 9 pan palettes I picked up from Colourpop, as well.
I've been using the Essence Bienvenuti a Roma palette and loving it. It's more of a warm, orange toned palette

I think the most surprising find was the Hard Candy 4 pan little palette, I tried the one in green. It went in beautifully and lasted all day.
Another great find was the Barry M cosmetics face palette (velvet?), random find on Amazon, but I’ve used it a ton this year. Great for travel.
Not new, but Flower beauty’s Desert and Jungle lights (?) palettes are 2 of my favorites, reach for them often. Always appreciate Drugstore December and your application videos! ❤
I picked up the Lottie London 9 pan palette called Honey Bee, I love it!!
My all time favorite from 2022 was not at all drugstore but it was the Dior Quint in Nude Dress. That is such a pretty everyday quint. You can even take it to night. But those are colors I adore. If you wear it a lot it is worth every penny.
No matter how much I try I can’t blend shadows properly it always looks splotchy, anyone recommend a good blending crease brush?

Not under $10, but I finally broke down and got the Utopia palette from NYX earlier this year. 40 shadows for $35, not bad. I held off because the amount of shadows seemed excessive. I find myself reaching for this nearly every day!
My favorite is one small but great pallette. It's the Revlon Day To Night in 560/ Stylish. The shades are long-lasting, intense and the colours are beautiful, similar to PT.

the #1 pallette is the colourpop trouble maker palette. I got it on sale for 12.80 regular 18.00. The others are from LA girl the nudist, the wet n wild always blushing and always naked. Juvias place is also in my go to drawer. They have amazing sales. love their eyeshadow primer!
