Ratbag has to be the most loyal of Talion's friends. Didn't even need to brand him, and he was right there with Talion, looking out for him in his own way.
the thing I love about ragbag is that he would have a better chance succeeding (or least surviving) as anything else in life but an orc. Which sucks because he is one and he is a horrible orc. he hates fighting, he's a coward, he prefers to talk his way out of predicaments, he's not consumed with hate against everything and everyone, just people who've wronged him, he see's a human (talion) as his friend as well as an olog (ranger) and the one thing orcs hate more then humans are their own kind. he's small and he's a horrible war chief/captain. he's the least orcish orc in all of middle earth.
Daniel Carbone well, there are two more things most orcs hate more than their own kind. Elves, which they descended from, and, of course failure in battle. They're a tough warrior breed, losing a battle brings nothing but shame to them. As Celebrimbor said: They follow strength, if an orc in a leading position doesn't offer that, he'll end up being killed by his own kind pretty fast. And there's ALWAYS. an orc who think he'd do a better job than the current leader
CloudsOverDD that's because their structure of command is based on who the best killer is, it allows them to be more individualistic and more open with their personalities

Physical recovery probably 1 minute according to gameplay, full psychological recovery, NEVER Talion: what?

Having suffered a mental breakdown in the past, I could feel the pain that would come from something like this. Shit was awful. Guess Bruz was right in the beginning.
Yaoi Marik Yeah, you are right, I used shame on an orc once cos i wanted to lower his level to recruit him for the legendary upgrade but i mistakenly killed him, Then i shamed another dark tracker and he was really really broken, couldn't even mutter a word just screams and moaning That was really uncomfortable and felt bad, so i kept him as my bodyguard the entire time in that region and made him overlord Still doesn't feel right... That really was a shitty move and i didn't even knew i was doing it...
watch this youtube video called "Shadow of War - Don't shame Orc too much or this will happen", the guy shames an orc so much he becomes unable to speak and just whimpers instead, amazing how they made me feel bad for a twisted war mongering orc that doesn't even exist.
I agree, after finishing that mission I instantly disabled the worse than death perk because of two reasons first being I don’t wanna see any other orcs like that and second being they lose to many levels so if u wanna recruit them u then need to level them up again
I always felt bad for Bruz! If I could have my way I would never do him like that!! I would’ve made him overlord in a heartbeat! He’s such a cool character, and after I broke him, it just made me sad to see and hear him. I re-dominated him, and it still just wasn’t the same. I thought in my next save I would try to make him a maniac, but it never happened. I could skirt around him, but at random one of orcs came in and killed him. Is it even possible to turn him into a maniac?
Orcs are typically considered incapable of good. This isn`t exactly true but under Sauron`s influence of evil they certainly are. When did an orc show mercy or kindness in canon? We never see an orc commit a good act. Orcs do secretly resent Sauron and his master Morgoth and they do want to be free despite their evil nature. I believe if left alone and not contacted they would live in peace. This game shows (although not canon) that orcs with their own free will do have some sense of humanity to them. We know through the series Orcs do feel fear and pain. Goes to show that "Good" even in LOTR commits plenty of shady actions.
I only played this game this year when it was free on PS+, and I loved Bruz. Sad to say, once he betrayed me, I sworn to shame all Olog captains I run into, and not one Olog has made it to warchief in any of my fortresses. Olog, Uruk, same thing really.
For the one still playing: Bruz is on the map and in the game after the shaming as every other orc and he can be recruited again (if he is not/lost resistance to recruit). I had Bruz as captain again. His powers are still there even he will never be the same as before.

Guess Bruz was right in the beginning.
Yaoi Marik Yeah, you are right,
I used shame on an orc once cos i wanted to lower his level to recruit him for the legendary upgrade but i mistakenly killed him,
Then i shamed another dark tracker and he was really really broken, couldn't even mutter a word just screams and moaning
That was really uncomfortable and felt bad, so i kept him as my bodyguard the entire time in that region and made him overlord
Still doesn't feel right...
Yaoi Marik yeah it’s fucked up especially since he has to live like that as long as you don’t kill him
I agree, after finishing that mission I instantly disabled the worse than death perk because of two reasons first being I don’t wanna see any other orcs like that and second being they lose to many levels so if u wanna recruit them u then need to level them up again
It's not like the whole thing with Cereal is that he's basically Sauron but blue.
“Bright Lord, Dark Lord, same thing really.”
Brutal foreshadowing
"a fine addition to our army"
*Stabs talion in the back*
You can see him immediately shake off the domination at 1:11
orcs are cooler than elves they have much more personality.
I just figured out that he sounds like Bruce from nemo the shark
"I like him..."
Celebrimbor is awesome, lol.
Dude just read the subtitles if you want to understand him
Ratbag and Ranger, the Timon and Pumba of Middle Earth 😂🤣😂
2:08 I never knew how to do that sound until I saw him do it.
What the hell?
what i thought ratbag died oh my god yes i love him its so good to see him again
"Enough! Kill me! Just end it!"
"No"
2:07
gotta love this.
When that helmet came off and ratbag started talking the first words out of my mouth were "fuck sake"
Ratbag returninG is the best thing I've seen
The times that brûz actually talked instead of "I DoNt WaNt ThE FOwT"
6:06 When a surprise boss appears in any game and your unprepared for him.
A bit worrying when Orcs and trolls tell you you`re cruel.
Why?
4:58 - 5:04 the way he said it just makes me laugh 😂
I only played this game this year when it was free on PS+, and I loved Bruz. Sad to say, once he betrayed me, I sworn to shame all Olog captains I run into, and not one Olog has made it to warchief in any of my fortresses.
Olog, Uruk, same thing really.
Brother was so shook he had to tell him that hes cruel in the normal language
0:50 - That's the quote from Ninja Assasin, even the accent is the same.
When he said. " it's almost like he's talkin... I lost it!
Woah woah woah woah woah.... you didnt choose brûz?
burger boys you can't which sucks
RATBAG FOR LIFE EVEN IF YOU GET THE CHOICE!
Oh.. im pretty sure Bruz was being sneaky about it.
I’m so sad bruz had to betray you. I freaking loved him
For the one still playing: Bruz is on the map and in the game after the shaming as every other orc and he can be recruited again (if he is not/lost resistance to recruit). I had Bruz as captain again. His powers are still there even he will never be the same as before.
Ranger is the best XD
"Learn some black speech... You're embarasing him "
