    Great video. I have been running the Remote and WSAii earmuff headphones. I had not entered my custom programs into the WS6 headphones because I never use them; however, I'm thinking about buying a new coil so I would basically have a backup to my backup which is my trusty Deus 1. I followed along easily with your demonstration. Thanks.

    Excellent video! I just set up the WS6 Puck on a separate shaft assembly, with another coil, and the XL headphones. So now I have basically a second Deus2 metal detector. I’m in the process now of learning how to use the WS6 as a master remote… and your videos are so informative! I can’t tell you how much I appreciate them! 👍

    I'm trying to sell a Garrett AT Max That has been used for less than 2 hours and a Nokta Macro Legend that has been used about 15 hours! Just so I can get the Deus 2 Master! I have always wanted a Deus! Metal detecting is a way of getting me out of the house and I love it! But I have been disabled since 1993 for a drunk driver hitting me so weight is a factor! But The Deus is light enough for me to be able to do a lot more detecting :) I love your videos and have used your coin program for the legend and have been killing it! Thank you for taking the time to educate 💯 props!!!

      Thank you and sorry to hear about your disability but glad to see you are able to get out there and enjoy this great hobby. When you are ready for the WS6 Master give my friends at Fort Bedford a chance to earn your business. They have been great to me and I know they will take care of you.

    That was an awesome video! There is so little detailed information on the WS6 Master on other channels. You’re leading the way with helping simplify a somewhat complicated machine. Keep up the great info!

    One question....is the puck waterproof? Also on 2 tones in your example....that would work perfectly in your previous nickle video....add your notch to 60 or w/e you had it at....then you basically have a one tone dig it all program...I've used that in the past at old home sites....until I became a pitch Fan Boy....good explanation on the puck!

    • @MentalMetal
      @MentalMetal  Рік тому +1

      Thanks Tedy the puck is "waterproof" don't submerge it in water. But then again you'll probably lose it like you did with the old remote. Better stick with the new remote that you can submerge you will have better chance of finding a working Deus 2 in the wild.

    Scott, I read on another post, that you added a different lower shaft onto the Deus2 to increase the rigidity, and also figured out how to run the Deus2 coil antenna up through the inside of the shaft. Could you please post what shaft you used and how you did that? Thanks!

      Hey Doug the information is in this video: ua-cam.com/video/oVZyrpk5_Go/v-deo.html including a link in the description to the guy who sells them on Ebay. There may be others out there now. Someone said you could take the lower shaft of the Simplex and use it for the Deus 2.

    Is there a silencer setting on the ws6 master?

    Hi from The land of the Angles and Saxons. Is there a way to alter the volume of each tone separately either on the master control or the WS6 master?

    • @MentalMetal
      @MentalMetal  Рік тому

      Hello there, you can change the tone frequency of each tone break. You cannot change the tone volume of each tone break like you can with other machines. But by changing the tone frequency you can force a tone break to sound the way you want.

      @@MentalMetal With the Equinox I can make certain tones louder or softer. I have 2 Nox 800s, a D1 and D2 and a 400i. On my test garden the Nox is the only machine to get all my targets. In fact one target would be lost if not for the Nox because I can’t find it with the other machines. So I still rank the Nox in 1st place but the D2 and D1 do get priority in certain areas due to lightness. In fact the D1 ranks 2nd in my test garden.

      Yes agree you can adjust the volume of your tone breaks on the Equinox.
