  • 11-year-old Emmanuella Mayaki has gained media attention with her coding skills.
    The young Nigerian girl started using computers at the age of 6.
    At 10, she relocated to the United Kingdom courtesy of her parents. Her coding skills got her a teaching job at an after-school club in England.
    The ICT Prodigy says she has plans to become a professional web designer and computer programmer.
    Gist Nigeria is a 30-minute current affairs programme, co-produced by Channels Television and the BBC. The program offers in-depth reporting, focusing on stories behind the news and their impact on its audience.
    Gist Nigeria airs at 9pm on Wednesdays on
