There are 3 versions on this plane. One for marines has the vertical landing, one is for the navy that has a tail hook and one is for the air force that can carry more bombs. All 3 where designed to look the same but all 3 where designed separately since all 3 contracts where issued at the same time. All range between 75million and 100 million each.

The coolest thing about the F-35 is that it can "talk" with other jets with a data link. Say a ground sensor picks up a jet 200 miles away, you can take that information and fire a missile at it, without seeing the target yourself. This is called Data Link, and it can create a hive mind of equipment and systems. The more jets, drones, radars, warships, and ground vehicles you have in your battlefield, the smarter each vehicle gets. It is sci-fi level stuff.
@@outandaboutwithsamiam5034 A bi-plane will fly through a nuclear attack? Sweet! ... Though I doubt a bi-plane would be much use on today's battle field.
@UCiCBjrbYYEQ9oVizss_ARPQ that's your opinion...I have my own...based on 23 years worth of military experience and training.....you might want to do a little research on what happens to electronics during solar flares and nuke attacks.
It can keep its stealth by using its DAS and turning the radar off and handing off attacks from missile trucks (F15EX) or Arleigh Burke or other systems
The F35 just has different roles than the F22. It's not "better" than the F22, but in the battlefield roles it fills several niches that the F22 can't fill. The F35 can't fill the niche that the F22 fills, so they complement each other.
@Horrible4 fat Amy will never be an ADF plane that role is currently set for the F15 and F22. Remember, there's a reason the F22 is not exported but the f35 is

There are 3 different versions of the F-35 they are the F-35A which is used by the Airforce it takes off and lands like most airplanes, the F-35B which has the ability to do vertical take offs and landings, and the F-35C which has different wings, landing gear, and arrestor hook for aircraft carrier landings and take offs. I also believe there is a special version built for the Israelis called the F-35I.
It was the F-35B that killed the other two planes' performance. Having a fat draggy airframe to accomodate a nonexistant lift fan (in the A and C,) was an extremely poor choice. But hey, the USMC has a jet they didn't really need.
@@ryanpayne7707 the space for the lift fan is fuel on the other two models, giving it a very good internal range compared with the aircraft it is replacing
15:08 judging from that comment I guess you didn't know about the Hawker AV-8B Harrier Jump Jet designed in the UK back in the 50s-60s. It is a VTOL capable jet fighter that has been used by many NATO nations ever since it was first produced. As for the USA I think only the Marines adopted it. The F-35B Lightning II (the Marine version) was made specifically to replace the old Harriers. The last new Harrier was made in 1997 and the last re-manufactured Harrier was in 2003 ending the Harrier line of multi role jump jets.
The Harrier is one of my favorite fighter planes, the f35 is a fifth gen fighter so of course it has the benefit of lessons learned from the forerunners the vertical take off on the Harrier operates off engine thrust vectoring for its vertical lift, the f22 has thrust vectoring for added speed in vertical takeoff, but it can land or takeoff by a mechanical fan built into the fuselage behind the pilot. The harrier is limited to 3 minutes before it begins to overheat. The f35 can fly higher and exceed the speed of sound.

When I was in the Gulf War, they released an interview by a captured Iraqi officer. He had been a battalion tank commander. He said when the bombing of Iraq started, he had 55 tanks. When all the bombing was done he still had 51 tanks. He went into battle against the M1 Abrams, and he said in less than an hour he had no tanks.
I may have written this before, but I am hooked on your intro song. Some times I keep rewinding just to hear it again. Hands down, best on UA-cam, in my opinion.
I was a plane captain in the USNAVY. That is the person using hand language to help the pilot move the plane on the ground. Never thought that it was a different language, but you are correct each hand movement means something different
The narrator said he interviewed pilots at Hill AFB. I live under a flight path of the F35s from Hill AFB. Our nephew is stationed there and works on those planes. They fly over my house on a daily basis. I love that plane. I am happy that you got to review these planes.
I love the way you guys presented your sponsor haha. Usually I just fast forward that part on other youtubers channels, but you guys made it entertaining!
VTOL in naval aircraft mean that they can take off in larger numbers more quickly than if they were each flying off one at a time conventionally. They're only limited by the speed of the elevator bringing planes up from below deck.
The naval version doesn’t have VTOL just the marine version. The naval version has the folding wings and tail hook. The Air Force version opted for larger wings, bigger weapons bay and larger fuel tanks.
@@archersparadox6472 Yes we Brits have the B variant, though you export the completed planes to us British companies actually do manufacture something like 15% of the airframe components as well as a huge amount of the Block 3i software.
The air force version requires an airstrip, the baby version can land and take off from aircraft carriers, the vertical take off version for the marine Corp. -Great job family!
I wouldn't call the C variant for the Navy aircraft carriers the "baby version", the wing area is much larger to enable it to have better range and takeoff payload, it's technically a bigger and heavier plane than the airforce's A variant, as well as a lower landing controllable landing speed which makes carrier landings easier, though the airframe is rated for less Gs than the A variant.
I have been watching this channel for about 3 months now, and as far as I am concerned you all are Americans living in New Zealand. The acronym for the vertical take off is referred to VTOL (vertical take-off and landing. So to answer your question yes they can go from hovering to actually flying just by directing the thrusters in a manner back to origional position. There are 3 variants of this aircraft. One for Air Force, Navy, and Marines all suited for each branches style of combat missions.

Very true and in the bone yard at Davis monthem in the Arizona desert there's I believe only 4 tomcats left. The rest were destroyed the last 4 will be too. Now surviving Tomcats are in museums they will never fly again and the Iranian Airforce thuse why the majority of them are being destroyed to prevent people for steeling parts for Iran. It's sad but if you ever wanna check them out head to one of the museums that have them.
F-22 Raptor is a limited edition air superiority fighter. It's so advanced, we (USA) are restricted from selling it to foreign nations. Its role is to specifically take on enemy aircraft, ideally at over-the-horizon engagement. The F-35 is a more economical platform that borrows some concepts from the F-22, but with 3-4 variants to serve specific US armed forces branches and to make it sellable outside the USA.
@@deadshot4245 You're not gonna hear *me* argue. It's my favorite plane. The only way to replace the A-10 is with another A-10 made of better materials.
The formation that Atlanta asked about near the end is called the "Missing Man." It honors those lost in combat by flying with one less than normal in the formation.
You asked in an earlier video sbout seeing these fly overhead. Hill AFB is in my state, and I still look up every time they fly over. And, yes, it's an amazing sight to watch one right after another and another to fly overhead.
Not nearly as advanced or as stealthy as the F-22. The F-35 was built to satisfy several rolls a functions and to be sold to U.S. allies where the F-22 will never be sold to anyone other than the U.S. Air Force. It is the jack of all trades but master of none.
Yeah. I can easily see the usefulness of the F-35, but I was disappointed when they cancelled the F-22 program. I think the F-22 was the better option of the two. This video touched on cost savings over the F-22, but it seems to have forgotten that the F-35 began being conceptualized in 1992, and since then, the program has cost a whopping $1.2 trillion and counting, making it by far the most expensive fighter aircraft project the US has ever funded.
💯 Yep. No plane in the sky can match the F-22, air-to-air. It IS all about the pilot's skill, but as far as the plane, F-22 has no match. All the talk about the CCP's gen 6 fighters is just that. All talk.
The F-22 is still the number one. Unfortunately the F-35 didn't end up as was expected. We allow other countries to purchase the F-35 but not the F-22 they are exclusive to the US. Awesome videos guys!! All love always! 🙌🏽

Congrats on your first sponsorship. I hope many more follow. The Vertical Take Off and Landing (VTOL) capability was requested by various militaries in the multinational alliance that helped pay for this jet. When the Brit RN carrier Queen Elizabeth received her first two planes, they were piloted by two civilian test pilots that practiced bost short runway style takeoffs and landings as well as VTOL. Those two guys literally wrote the manual for the RN on how to conduct F35 operations on a carrier. When the squadrons arrived at the ship some months later, the entire airfleet embarked with no problems because they had the manual and practiced in advance. Now HMS Queen Elizabeth is fully combat capable.
The F-35 is known as the JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) or the version of the F-22 that is sold to other countries. The F-22 is only used by the US military. Not all F-35's can do vertical take off and landing.
The F-22 and the F-35 are completely different aircraft. The airframes have nothing in common with each other. The F-22 is only used by the US air force. The entire compliment of F-35's will be VTOL (vertical takeoff and landing). The above comment is wrong about everything
@@prollins6443 do some research. F35a, F35b, F35c ... F35b is the marines version. They required a replacement for the hornet so that is the only version that has vertical landing ability
I was lucky enough to see one an F-35 at an air show last year. The main takeaway I had was that it was the loudest aircraft I've ever heard, and I've heard most of them for the last 30 years.
The US Marine Corps wanted the vertical takeoff and landing capability's to support their combat ground forces. Back in the 1960's the original aircraft was called the Harrier and was named after the hawk. The Marine Corps is pretty independent and is very very good at rapid deployment and self support.
At 5:48 if you pause it you can see two things. First the SJ on the right hand vertical stabilizer stands for Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro North Carolina. I lived on base there for a few years growing up. Second, the Wright Brothers who are credited with the first flight has the Wright Flyer depicted on the inner left vertical stabilizer. On our license plates they have the same Wright Flyer image and First in Flight saying. Also the 4th Fighter Squadron who are stationed at SJAFB are older than the actual US Air Force.
In formation they fly in fours, as this allows the pilots to maintain greater situational awareness and reduced their chance of being spotted by the enemy. The two pairs could split and attack on their own.

Ya we have to use hand signals because its so loud especially on an aircraft carrier that even when we are standing next to someone it's next to impossible to hear. So hand signals are used when moving aircraft around which are always two handed. One such hand signal you see a lot in movies is the two hands held over head which then turn into fists, this signals to the pilot to stop moving, in a carrier situation when they are getting ready to launch on the cat after this signal is given the Catapult officer (Yellow shirt better known as a shooter) will then lower the right arm down signaling to lower the front catapult bar on the front landing gear that attaches to the catapult shuttle. Other hand signals such as direction to turn are a bit easier to identify for someone outside of aviation (turn right given at 4:52).The hand signal for forward movement is also demonstrated in this video with both hands held above the head at 90 degree angles and moved in a shaking manner.

5:17: That's an F-15. The Top Gun jet is the F-14. 10:22: Well, you'd break a very expensive piece of equipment. 13:13: Finger Four formation. The idea is that it can split up into two flights and each individual fighter can cover the other. That does not really work out as well when you have an odd number of aircraft. 13:45: Only the F-35B, made for the USMC, can take off vertically. The A model is a conventional aircraft and the C model is equipped for carrier operations. And unfortunately, the B model, due to Pentagon demands for part commonality, caused both the A and C to have needlessly fat, draggy airframes that kill thier performance. The space where the lift fan is in the B is an empty space in the A and C. Its literally a waste of space.
Hello New Zealand Family! I am pretty new to watching UA-cam and reaction videos. I am a United States Naval Veteran. I served aboard the U.S.S. Carl Vinson, CVN 70, a Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier from 1998-2002. While aboard that ship I was lucky enough to visit Perth, AUS and Hobart, TAZ. I will admit, those were my favorite ports, and I vow one day to take my wife one day. While I was in Hobart, a local family "adopted" me for a weekend. That was my favorite experience during my service. During my off-time on the ship, I would climb up to "Vulture's Row" to watch jets, airplanes and helos take off and land. Check out the retired F-14 Tomcat. That and the F-18 Hornet were the most used in my service days. You are a beautiful family, and your reactions and other videos are genuine and amazing! I do have a gift I would like to send, but I am still new to all of this and I don't know how to privately message.
The F-35 is a better plane period, they are stealth, can do any role, all pilots have helmets with visual HUD and can literally see through the plane and get telemetry fed to the helmet, can talk to each other and units on the ground seamlessly, the Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps all use them now and the Marine variant has VTOL. They can carry more fuel and almost the same weapons capabilty as the A-10 without the massive gun which actually hinders the A-10 in direct fire CAS roles as the rate of friendly fire incidents with the A-10 are ovbious because of the recoil and difficulty actually aiming. They can carry ATGM's just like the A-10 as well. They can also have direct and good line of sight with friendly units with their helmets and sensors unlike even the A-10C which still relies on the pilot visually confirming an enemy or friendly. The A-10 is still good but if someone thinks it is better than an F-35 they are an idiot.
The f35 isn't a fighter in a dogfight with a raptor which is strictly designed for air superiority roles ie clearing the sky's it would scrub the floor with the f 35 due to the fact that it is designed around ground targets. They were designed to work in conjunction with the f22 the raptor clears the air of threats and the f 35 takes out ground targets with the f 22 holding air dominance
@@seanmorris2738 Did I ever say an F-35 was the equal of the F-22? No. That's why the job of the F-22 is literally all fighter, dogfighting air dominance from BVR. F-35's working in tandem with F-22's is the cream of the crop as you said, but F-35's can also do the missions of multiple different planes and actually have better instruments and avionics than the F-22 for those roles. The F-35 can also carry AMRAAMS for BVR fighting but in a dogfight have slightly less capability than an F-16.
@@MrElis420 It acutally depends on the loadout the F-35 has. The only way an F-16 can outclass an F-35 on combat load with internal missiles, is if the F-16 has a combat load of fuel, and no missiles. F-35 has a really high thrust to weight ratio, it can carry weapons internally saving drag and aerodynamics, it has more thrust than the F-22! See US military exercises, it's got a kill ratio of 28-1. Pilots with little experience on the F-35 find it easy to fly. On a Red Flag 2019 exercise, one F-35 pilot with 8 hours on the clock for that type, saved a F-16 veteran with 3,000 hours on the type, because he didn't see the jet behind him. That F-35 pilot with 8 hours, "killed" 4 jets that day. And you're right. F-22 is actually being upgraded to get the F-35's systems and software.
The F-35 is not “better” than the F-22, despite being newer. The F-35 is a multi role platform, intended mainly for ground strikes and recon, but with some air-to-air capability. The F-22 is an air superiority fighter, meant to kill other planes. In a dogfight, the F-35 wouldn’t even last one turn with a Raptor. However, it has better sensors, better comms, and can fire in almost any direction at any time. Both are considered 5th generation fighter jets.
f35 is better interms of cost. And maybe thats more important than dog fight capability, in most situations they useing jets. So its questionable what count as "better".
@@tojassargaja2085 f-35 wouldnt survive a merge with a raptor not many things would to be honest. @@deadshot4245 I understand that. My point is that maybe all that are not important compared to the cost they have to pay for someting they dont even need. Like would you buy a phone for 1000 dollars with tons of features you dont need, or rather buy a phone for 100 dollar with the features you want to use?
@@tojassargaja2085 It’s not about better or worse. The two platforms are designed for different things. Both are the best at those things, but fall short outside their area of expertise. When asked, every pilot who has flown one has preferred the F-35 over any earlier generation plane. Also, being cost effective isn’t just about saving money or getting votes in Congress. It’s a genuine strategic advantage for any military asset. For example, in WWII, the Tiger II was far superior to the Sherman tank used by the US. However, because the Tiger was so expensive, the US could afford to field something like 30 Sherman’s for every one Tiger, and keep them repaired and fueled. The same held true of most other German equipment. It was better than what the Allies had, but so expensive as to become cost prohibitive.

Nice to see you got a sponsor. The original top gun craft was an F14 Tomcat. The new one is an F/A 18 Hornet. Two entirely different aircraft built for different purposes. They are amazing to watch and their stunts are jaw dropping. Hopefully you get air shows there and get to see the two modern ones. Keep up the good reviews i try to watch you as much as i can.
Hill AFB was one of the first units to be given the F-35. I see them fly over my house once in a while. Naval and marine variants of the F-35 used vectored thrust for vertical takeoff from carriers and small roads.

Just for your info -- The F22 is not less advanced or more advanced -- the two are just for different markets and for different roles. The F22 is strictly for the United States Air Force. It's also just made for air-superiority. In other words, it's meant to kill other enemy aircraft and allow the United States to control the sky. The F35 was manufactured to have the same stealth technology for the Navy, Marines and export to other friendly countries. The F35 has three versions, the long-runway version, the carrier based version and the Vertical Take Off and Landings version (takes off like a helicopter). The F35 is also a multi-role aircraft (in other words, can be used for a variety of missions) as compared to the F22, which is only meant as an air-superiority aircraft. So one is not more advanced than the other, they are just used for different things. Hope this helps!!!!
Pappa Sally from Japan. Just got to the F-35 Vid (watching these back-to-back as we just had a typhoon come through, and stuck in the house). As noted in F-22 Raptor comments, been involved with F-35 stationing as well. Flying Amy, or also known as the Flying Penguin (due to stubby wings and wide body when seen from above) is essentially a flying super computer and giant sensor system. Couple of years ago worked with Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) designing and building training ranges and simulated LHA decks (full scale mock-up of US Marine aircraft carrier flight deck for operational training) at a couple of locations. I had to be "read in" on a certain amount of tech to accomplish my tasks; all of which was scary. Found new pilots transitioning from other airframes (like F/A-18) were way too excited by the huge leap in tech and capability compared to any other 4th or 5th gen aircraft. There is so much tech that went into this thing, most of which is still highly classified and evolving daily. But there is also tech transfer coming out of the F-35 program that is now going into so many other current and legacy aircraft, air and ground sensors and weapons, that once fully integrated, we will honestly be just one step away from Skynet. Notes on the aircraft video you watched. Helmets are now 3rd Generation, and cost upwards of $100,000 USD each, and pretty much all the early problems (helmet and DAS integration) have now been worked out. US Marine F-35B version can take off vertically when not mission configured (the one in the video going pure vertical take-off was a pre-production demonstrator without full combat kit). Operationally, F-35Bs use what is called Short Take-Off/Vertical Landing (STOVL). On take-off, they configure aircraft for vertical flight, but because of load-out weight, still need a few meters of rolling take-off to generate enough lift to get off the ground, hence the use of mini-aircraft carriers, but without the catapult system. But when launching or recovering (taking off/landing) empty or near empty (all weapons expended) they do land vertically. And the aircraft can use its sensor/guidance package to work with the carrier's landing systems to land all by itself (full auto), on the right spot on the deck. The fire/flight controls are so sophisticated, that the aircraft can perform a full mission profile (launch, mission, recovery) fully autonomously. Handy if pilot is disabled, or if you want to use the aircraft as an attack UAV; something that is now being integrated into older 4th Gen F-16s, and the newer Boeing Australia built MQ-25 Ghost Bat under a program called "Loyal Wingman". Did someone mention Skynet? And for you Counter-Intel and OpSec types out there, all of this is UNCLASS/Open Source data.
I live next to an F-35 base and they can take off straight up and down, they can also fly sideways, backwards and of course, forwards. They are a bit load compared to the F/A-18s (also stationed here). I have a video of one showing off for us, it flies sideways and backwards and spins in place (slowly), none of that is classified. All I can say is that; just like modern day cars, the more moving parts you have, the more problems you can have. But when they all are working, they are amazing.
That Hill Airforce Base mentioned in the video, that's in my neck of the nation; Utah. It's got a pretty neat, free admission aeronautics museum on the north side of the base. If you ever come here, drop on by. You might catch a glimpse of the F-35A, F-22, F-16, or A-10 taking off or circling around. HAFB is not only an active base, but it's also a kind of storage for some of the military's A-10's, F-16's, and F-22's. But the main jet in active service here is the F-35A. Something you should react to is from the "Simon Whistler-verse" (Simon Whistler has some 8 or 9 youtube channels now.) It's from the channel called MegaProjects and it's about the American M1 Howitzer, also known as "The Black Dragon." There's some facts about it I think you all will be blown away by. If you need more encouragement then I'll give you a hint on one of the facts. It's kind of like the USS Iowa Class Battleships in a way. If you don't know what that means, watch a video on the Iowa Class Battleships.

Couldn’t have said it better just an immeasurable smile crossed my face at all of them doing an ad just perfect
That data link won't be worth a damn during a severe solar flare or in case of a nuclear attack....but a bi-plane will still fly
@@outandaboutwithsamiam5034 A bi-plane will fly through a nuclear attack? Sweet! ... Though I doubt a bi-plane would be much use on today's battle field.
Bi-plane? Is that how North Korea will nuke us? One crazy commie in a biplane with a nuke strapped between his legs?
I can see squads of f35s mixed with f22s in the future. Maybe f35 with full pylons and atg and a couple f22s for security
Your right the F35 covers the F22s weak spots and vice versa, a unmanned companion aircraft is also being tested for the F35.

The plane is a jack of all trades, and a master of none
Yeah, the F-35I is identical to the F-35A, except that it has improved Avionics, Ground Targeting, and Electronics.
It was the F-35B that killed the other two planes' performance. Having a fat draggy airframe to accomodate a nonexistant lift fan (in the A and C,) was an extremely poor choice. But hey, the USMC has a jet they didn't really need.
@@ryanpayne7707 IDK. I don't mind being able to get air support without asking Air or Navy for it.
Good to see someone knows where the jet started.UK.

I would recommend taking look at some ground vehicles next, primarily the M1 Abrams tank. That thing is insane.
The M109A6 Paladin is also a insane ground attack vehicle. .

VTOL in naval aircraft mean that they can take off in larger numbers more quickly than if they were each flying off one at a time conventionally. They're only limited by the speed of the elevator bringing planes up from below deck.
The Gerald R. Ford class aims to change that, as they have reworked the location and size of both the ramp and elevators.
The naval version doesn’t have VTOL just the marine version. The naval version has the folding wings and tail hook. The Air Force version opted for larger wings, bigger weapons bay and larger fuel tanks.
@@mabutoo yes it does. The F35b has VTOL and no arresting wire. That is the model exported to the British.

I love that the parents have the children involved.

The acronym for the vertical take off is referred to VTOL (vertical take-off and landing.
Yep f-22 is too much to let fall into the wrong hands every fifth gen has been someone trying to copy it and failing by a lot.

Not nearly as advanced or as stealthy as the F-22. The F-35 was built to satisfy several rolls a functions and to be sold to U.S. allies where the F-22 will never be sold to anyone other than the U.S. Air Force. It is the jack of all trades but master of none.
Yes I was going to say the same thing. The F-22 is the superiority fighter
And it’s all ours ❤
All talk.

There’s MORE to this plane than the plane, it is networked to ground, sea, air and space sensors. The Pilot see the entire battle space.

The US Marine Corps wanted the vertical takeoff and landing capability's to support their combat ground forces. Back in the 1960's the original aircraft was called the Harrier and was named after the hawk. The Marine Corps is pretty independent and is very very good at rapid deployment and self support.
The Marines are basically the only ones getting a great plane out of this.
At 5:48 if you pause it you can see two things. First the SJ on the right hand vertical stabilizer stands for Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro North Carolina.

Yall should look at attack helicopters as well like Apache, comanches, cobras, blackhawks.
Comanche never progressed beyond prototype stage.
@kdrapertrucker I was still a pretty cool lookin helicopter though even for a prototype
I know zero about military equipment but some of these planes look maaad - nice video folks
F-22 is actually being upgraded to get the F-35's systems and software.
this is so cool to see a family including the kids reacting to it and actually being interested
Absolutely correct. That raptor can snap some serious aoa in a one circle and even then how much are the pilots tapping into its full potential
f35 is better interms of cost. And maybe thats more important than dog fight capability, in most situations they useing jets. So its questionable what count as "better".
@@tojassargaja2085 f-35 wouldnt survive a merge with a raptor not many things would to be honest. Its not just the dogfight its the fact its hard to lock and can get super fast at high altitude and sling fox-3 from an impressive distance making the minium abort range difficult to navigate. if you can lock the target to know its distance its hard to predict the minium abort range
I live just outside Hill AFB! I see these every day and have friends who maintain them. So cool.
I feel like Denzel has so much to say. When will we get a Denzel Day series or something? Anything we can send him to help out on his journey? When he gets excited and lets loose, I love it. He's got so much passion! Maybe a sports show or something?
Its cool seeing all of the hill afb tailnumbers that I worked on in this video. Especially the 5180 bird in its beast mode configuration at 5:05. We were deployed in that footage.
I've been watching your family's channel for a while now, and absolutely love the fact you guys did a video on the F35-A (US Airforce variant) and just wanted to say as someone who works on this beautiful jet, I can assure you this jet is absolutely incredible. Even tho I went to school to learn about everything on this jet, it still amazes me on its capabilities.
Hi from Pennsylvania
This was a great video
Side note to Atlanta, you did a great job on your video for Pennsylvania's state food👍👍👍
The best part of this reaction was the sponsor spot you guys did. Great family made add. 👍🏼
I live next to hill air force base. I see these jets fly over head all the time. Never gets old
Keep up the good work Kiwi family. The look on Atlanta's face on the vertical takeoff was awesome.
Just to let you know, a lot of us here love you and are thankful for your support. You're a very wholesome family. Thank you so much. We are proud of you.
Big congrats on the sponsor! Love all your videos. Also just want to mention how much I love your intro each time I see it! What is that beach?
First I would like to congratulate you guys on getting a sponsor that is awesome!!! I live less then 1 mile away from Hill Air force base. the base is quite literally in my backyard couple houses behind me then the fence with barbed wire. Hill Air Force base has the most F-35 at the moment unless it's changed sense the last time i checked. When they got them they did a big flyover with all the F-35S it was way cool to see that many line up(You can check out the video on youtube). One of the benefits living so close to the base is I can watch the air show from my own backyard.
Very clever ad input, I’m impressed haha I’m actually glad you guys are starting to do this…you guys deserve it and I’m sure there will be some cool products we can check out 👀
Used to watch the Blues every year at Miramar. Such a rush “ feeling” the power of jet aircraft up close
congratulations on your sponsorship that's a huge step to your channel seriously congratulations from a kid from California also it was awesome how you included your furry family member to the sponsor clip
Im sorry for not doing this sooner, i love your family and am inspired by your enthusiam to learn.
I work for Lockheed Martin in Marietta, Georgia, on the F-35 center wing build. I am a quality inspector. I also built the B-2 and the F-22. NZ does not have any fighters but Australia has 72 F-35's
I did some subcontractor work at Lockheed Martin where these are built. It was really cool seeing them up close.
You all have so much fun making these I can tell. Love it!
not gonna lie that was the most entertaining ad content i think ive seen on you tube.
I'm a lil late to the game for this video... I saw my first F-35B STOVL demonstration at Sun N Fun Airshow here in Lakeland , FL.... IT WAS FREAKING AWESOME TO SEE IN PERSON!!!!!!!
Nice video! Never seen the VTOL thing on the F-35 ... *very* cool!
Congrats on getting a sponsor!
Family sitting together watching and learning together. Mad respect, Friend.
Thanks!
I love living 20 miles away from Hill Air force base and watching these go out over the desert for training
Nice vid! I think you guy should try the CIWS (also known as Close In Weapon System) also here a vid of it firing called “CIWS ‘PAC’ FIRE...”
Nice to see you got a sponsor. The original top gun craft was an F14 Tomcat. The new one is an F/A 18 Hornet. Two entirely different aircraft built for different purposes. The F14 was a fleet defense Jet while the F/A18 is a multi purpose aircraft. I have seen all of these aircraft in airshows here in Florida and New York.
I always think of these videos as down time for your family. It's easy to see who is into anything military :D Videos take a lot of time, editing preparation, etc. It's nice to see you're all doing well.
A really good and interesting video guys!! I love all of your reactions!! But best of all, you did a bang-up job on the sponsor's commercial!!
Best sponsor add ever! I usually skip over this part but had to watch! ❤️
It's vertical take off actually had a name from past aircraft called the vtol mode made for more still stance to be more precise with gun accuracy for air support
