First, I totally agree with Joe and Serena about the small private wedding taking the stress away from the big event! We got to do ours with close family and it was an amazing experience (and gives the couple flexibility as to when you celebrate the anniversary each year 😂) One of the other biggest wedding takeaways I had was to not fight the parents over your “vision” for the day too much- you’re their child, it is their celebration too (to a certain extent of course) and while it needs to be your day and you need to be comfortable with everything- if something is important to them and not a deal-breaker for you (such as increasing the number of guests so they can invite more family or some of their friends) it can make the process much less stressful if you accept this and consider their wants seriously rather than blindly stick to your initial “plan”. Bachelor in Paradise is only as good as the contestants. I haven't felt like contestants are as genuine in recent years.
