Not sure if anyone watched the Max special, but what she did was pretty shady. 1st off, let’s make sure we all know her dad was a minority share holder for big hit (her first record deal). 2nd she was excited about her contract because she was a 15/16 year unknown artist that the record label took a chance on… where they even made a deal to front her a large cash loan in return for her masters. Fast forward, the ceo wanted to retire and offered to sell, which included her masters. She claims she was never given a chance to buy her music, throwing everyone under the bus with literal documented lies. She had 2 different offers to buy her masters. Let’s not forgot, these are for profit businesses, so don’t sit there and say it’s her music, that’s simply not how contracts and the business works(think of their business model like Dave patenoy, make 20 large bets and hope one hits which pays for the other 19). Well, she was the one that hit and the record label had to recoup money spent on other failing artists. Again, that’s the business. She used a ton of verbiage during her statements that were in the realm of sexual harassment, works like consent and being a prisoner to the white man… remember her dad owned minority share of this company lol. So instead of doing business in faith, working with the label that created her, she went to the media and her army of fans. Once scooter purchased, keep in mind this was a very very smart business move. Who wouldn’t want to own the number one selling artist of all time.. so he bought it. But it was her original big hit board, including her dad, that “sold” her masters. She had zero reason to dislike scooter. Aside from the fact that he managed Kanye (as well as Arianna grande, Justin Bieber, and others). One of her good friends, Selena Gomez, when Bieber was getting into a relationship with his now wife after Selena break up. So now scooter is the manager to Kanye who stole her spotlight at the vmas, and Bieber who broke her best friends heart. Also, scooter had a huge fan base (a lot of clout - god such a terrible slang word lol). So instead of bashing the guy who truly did her wrong(ceo of big hit - someone no one knows) she chose the throw scooter under the bus because she didn’t get what she wanted. She destroyed this guys life. Told her fans to “reach out to scooter and tell him how you feel”… she said that to something like 300 million followers, what do you think would happen? It happened, death threats to him, his wife, even his freaking kids! All the guy did was buy a record label that was an extremely smart business move. Taylor figured, why pay 300mil for her masters(what the market value was), when she could let all that play out and the. Re-release her music. Which let’s be honest, it’s straight trash. She’s a woman now, her tone is different, had to add in different sounds and rhythms as to not copyright the masters she chose not to own. And the. Talks her fans into buying that garbage. You can say power move, boss move, whatever, but let a man do this to a woman and he would have been cancelled, not praised. She should be charged with aggravated assault for having her fans go after scooter and his family. All to simply devalue her original masters she walked away from (all while telling her fans she was never included or even knew about it) all lies that have factual documentation stating she knew all along and simply decided to walk away because she decided to go the petty route and throw a man’s life who did nothing wrong but purchase a business that was for sale. All time petty woman. Think about this too, how is someone always the vulnerable one who has everything done wrong to her, but yet 10 out of 10 times is the one who comes out on top. That’s just wild. She’s got her fans disillusioned. Think I’m wrong, go check the facts.

I connected with Kat because I went through a toxic relationship at the same time she did, broke up around the same time, and have been healing since. I am waiting for my "Jason" to bump into me now ! LOL

I cried and laughed watching this. I wish you a beautiful future together and many babies!!!!

You could see it as a boss move BUT, she wasn't really honest about the sale and not knowing it was being sold, and counted on the fact that her fanbase wouldn't really know much about how music contacts work. Then weaponised the masters, as if her music contract was the exception and bullied for it, with the whole "stolen art", rhetoric. And earning Daddy a tidy 15 million for the 3% shares, which Borschetta, needed to make the label and was also conditional on him signing up Taylor. There was always a plan from the start. A lot of narcissism in the family. On top of that is also the releasing 8 versions of a couple of songs, and the vinyls, ticket prices, and merch etc. But she's not the first artist to bring the process to the public attention. PRINCE was a boss! And the good country sweetheart image, with social media up and coming, and interacting with her fans then, so the younger kids would follow and love her as much as the music, and she could make more money a decade in the future. Only to STILL be petty with the revenge songs, but worse, is the way that despite breaking most music records, and the money, but still strategic enough, to pretend to be an older sister or mentor figure...and then drop a new edition when the competition would be dropping new music too. Causing, the other artists to lose their impact, and money. The names Billie, and Olivia come to mind.
