For starters (since "Elks" is going to stick), the team management should hire someone to design a compelling logo for their helmets/team. The logo they have now is lame. They need something dynamic, like a profile of a charging elk, head lowered, ready for battle.@@kingdomharvestinternationa108

As an American, I agree. It would be great to see two things in the CFL. One, to see more of the CFL in the states and two, to see more Canadian QBs. Does Canada have a college system of football and how do I find out about it?

@@kevinlittleton2327 yes it has college football. Its called CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sports). CIS football. Its not big as in US but its fun to watch because they have teams from all canadian provinces, including the Atlantic Canada. Plus there is also Canadian Junior Football League. Semi professional league for players who dont make it to CFL. Also fun to watch.

Tiger Cats don't have a record for 20+ straight losses at home. Tiger Cats have the ability to actual PLEASE their fans. The elks won 1 game, not the grey cup. They are still the worst in the league and they are still not clinching playoffs. You won't be talking like this when the elks lose their next game.

    • @ReviewyCA

In the CFL, pre-snap motion (lateral or forward) is allowed for players who aren't on the line of scrimmage (oversimplified version)

@@ReviewyCA Would you also please answer this...Why did the Elks receive both kickoffs? 1st half & 2nd...You can also see it on the CFL webpage the play by play.....I'm so confused right now.

    • @ReviewyCA

@@southpaw788At the start of the game, the captains of both teams shall meet the Referee at centre field. The Referee shall toss a coin with the visiting team captain making the call. The captain of the team winning the coin toss shall declare whether to have first choice at the start of the first or second half.
The captain of team having first choice at the start of the first half shall choose between:
kicking off or receiving the kickoff or,
which end of the field to defend.
The captain of the other team shall have first choice at the start of the second half, when both captains shall again meet the Referee at centre field to make their choices.
My guess, having not seen it? Hamilton wins the toss, sees the weather, determines it's more important to pick the end zone than receive the kickoff; Edmonton picks the kickoff to open the second half, so they got both kicks.

@@southpaw788 Same as NCAA or NFHS (at least in 2015 when I last worked a NFHS game):
1st half: team that has choice in first half can kick, receive, defend an end or defer.
2nd half: kick, receive, defend an end.
Sometimes that leads to the same team receiving in both first and second half.

Well although I have be about 75% in picking winners this year, I was dead wrong with this. Oh well I'll live with it as Hamilton is falling... Ottawa might too (MTL should win) and maybe 4th West still has a chance...

I hope the Hamtown FG attempt in the 1st Q that hit the post and was a dead ball made this highlights video.
Wish it was a Single (EE getting the ball at 50, not 40 though) so Hamilton would start with a 1-0 led.
Desbite that, in reality Ham lost by 14. 1 point off to make it 13 means nothing. Only games that end in 5 points or less does it matter to talk about it.
    My 2 cents.
PS: I believe Montreal did it too in their game against Hamtown but like yesterday, Montreal won by so much that 1 more point for them is nothing.
