Ann B. Davis was as nice in real life as she was on screen. After this show ended she dedicated her life to helping others via her church. Big heart ♥
...and she looked lovely in her outfit in this episode.
RIP ANN B DAVIS 😢
In the 80s and 90s there was a dinner theatre here and familiar TV stars would star in the plays. I think just about everyone from MASH, a few WKRP and such. Ann B stayed with our pastor and she went to church then was whisked to the theatre to do the 11:00 brunch show.
I grew up with the Brady Bunch and so grateful. I have the DVD’s, my kids watched, and I still watch them today.
This song randomly pops into my head from seemingly NOWHERE every few years lol
This song appeared in my mind. When I was reading my medical administrative assistant textbook discussing disponia.
Yes! And then it sticks there for days!
Yes same here that's why I looked it up to see if I was remembering the words correctly. It goes through my head every now and then and stays for a couple days. Lol
Love to hear from you and I hope to see how things are going with the new photo gallery 😅
The Establishment reminding you to go vote
My dad sings this every time my voice cracks.
lol

I know right.
it's time to *rear-a-a-ange*
Lol
Brady Bunch is an all time favorite from generation to generation BECAUSE it depicts an ideal family, working together, supporting each other, solving daily challenges and changes together. I wish I could build a Brady Bunch House to have lived in .
Sequels ruined things later, when someone in the early 90s had the bright idea to make a nighttime soap/dramady and call it "The Brady's".
*it depicted a lazy mother with an indentured servant*
The Brady Bunch movies in the mid 90s made them look stupid and out of place for the time.
@@raccoon874
YES
The 1950s called asking for you to kindly return their delusions.
This song should replace bells at schools when its time to change classes.
true
Lmaooo that would be funny
Yaaaaaaaassssssss
Your a dam genius
🤣🤣🤣
So glad this was the kind of show I got to grow up with.
Hell, things are so bad now, that I was grateful to grow up with Alf.
2024: Time to change.... your gender
@@TheSecretWorldRules time you change how you speak to me.
I agree, shows today are garbage
My mum grew up in the 60s and 70s and saw the Brady Bunch growing up, I remember when it came TV in the early 90s how excited she was that I got to watch what she grew up with.
Been a fan ever since!!!
which one did she aspire to be like?
I, too, remember the days of my youth when every Friday night would find me in front of the television watching with great anticipation for the appearance of America's favorite family on ABC. Then along around 10 o'clock, if I was still awake. Of course, it's the weekend. I didn't have to go to school the next day. I absolutely loved television viewing in the 70s on our old color 26" floor model TV. Yes, it wasn't "on" all night, but it also wasn't congested with lousy programming, and those stupid station identifying logos in the bottom right corner of the screen. I knew a time when TV was FREE for the average man with better shows, and absolutely NO DIGITAL GRAFFITI! A loyal companion, if ever there was, and the Corporate Suits had to go and ruin it.
By the time the 70s came, we got repeats, it wasn’t on that long and, come the 90s, it was the Brady Brides and, all the specials came out! 2:47
I think it’s funny how Greg looks all proud of himself for coming up with such a clever song
lololol
@phillydisco Clowns never laughed before, beanstalks never grew... lol
@@ghaze420 ponies never ran before till i met you. 😆🤣🤔 Greg are these your cigarettes! No mom i had a doob in my pocket!😂
@phillydisco HaHa, I think Marsha told on him. "I was at school today Mom, and I saw Greg smoking!" what a rat
He is happy about it, I wonder who wrote it maybe it was him in real life. He has a nice sounding voice, I wonder sometimes if a singer prefers the voice
Inside or the voice we hear.
My m2 sister's & I did this rendition of this song for my Mom after our Dad had passed away @ 91 years "young at heart ❤". RIP Dad! We Love you so much & always will 🤟🥰😘❤️!
I had the “shanana” part stuck in my head while I was trying to write an essay for class. It wasn’t fun
Lol..loved the Sha na na na na part
Lol
Oh good! Jan’s wearing her glasses.
@@vasiliosapocalypse1203 in her skwüle
Thud!
😂😂😂
There was a whole Brady Bunch episode dedicated to Jan’s not wanting to wear her glasses.
😂
Every smile in this scene seems totally genuine !
Greg’s shirt is everything
that is just the epitome of style and class...
Greg’s shirt deserved its own spin-off.
It’s far out!
It is a great shirt. And the girls boots are Chef's Kiss.
The only song I ever heard about puberty! Genius
Barry Williams went on to a blockbuster singing career in Branson Missouri. You Go Greg!
singing for duck-boat tourists
Nothing says blockbuster like singing in the Ozarks
Brunch with the Bradys
The best song and show to let you know what is about to happen. Nothing disgusting, just plain facts, how wonderful, if we could only do this today!!!
Laughing so hard. I just showed this to my 12 year old daughter. She was on the floor in hysterics. This was great. The early 70s TFM...
Like everyone else i loved watching the reruns in the 90s watching what my mom loved watching.
I grew up watching this great family show. Loved it. And love the song.
Still funny 50 years later.
They need to rerecord this song now that they're all grown.R.I.P Robert Reed, Florence Henderson and Ann B.Davis Y'all raised these Brady Kids Wonderfully.
funny- florence is the only one who actually raised kids. robert reed had a son but was divorced from his wife when the kid was 5
These days it would probably sound like an orchestra of scorched cats
I think hearing it once was enough. It's bad lol
Marcia didn't turn out so great.
@@tobymummert3035 Not if you make use of modern technology. We've come a long way, baby. Hell, imagine this piece of old gold paired up with the latest technology, such as CDs, DVDs, Blue Ray and of course, the ever popular streaming services provided by the internet.
One of Brady Bunch funniest episodes Peter was the funniest of all the kids.
Phil Packer, Peter's volcano exploding all over Marsha's snooty Boosters...

This was really cute.
I love Jan and her sweater.
We all do
GARY BACHMANN Jan does have a nice sweater. It definitely shows off her "girls."
Perverts.
Disgusting pervert
AND her snazzy specks
Barry Williams is actually a pretty good singer - who knew?!?
You mean Johnny Bravo! haha ;)
You should also watch the "Full House" episode when he replaces Uncle Jessie as the frontman of The Rippers.
He & Maureen were the strongest vocalists, while I think the others helped contribute to the overall blend. The only one who really hated the musical episodes was Christopher Knight, who has admitted he is tone-deaf.
@@ericandy88
Bobby ( Michael Lookinland) he did have an album out.
Barry Williams did singing lessons every day for 10 years during the show.
This episode was a classic.

I am in the process of binge watching the entire series since HGTV renovated the Brady Bunch house. I am 57 years old, lol. A trip down memory lane for sure!
Where online can one find ALL of the episodes, including and 'especially' THIS one? Hulu skipped it, as did Paramount and everything else.
they screwed it up- ask the neighbors
Marcia and Greg really had good voices
They were the best looking also.
Imagine thinking they're really singing, rofl.

I wonder who wrote this tune and who worked out the arrangements. It's very catchy, and as a 60 year old former Brady Bunch addict, I can truthfully say that I love it!
Songwriters: Raymond Bloodworth, Christopher Welch, Billy Meshel
Producer: Jackie Mills
This somehow never left my soul.
By strange happenstance this song came up in a conversation with my wife, who had never heard it. Now she has (for better or worse)... Thank you UA-cam...
The voice-breaking fun of puberty put to good use.
VicGeorge2K6 lol we’ve all been there!
diggin that groovy fringe Gregs wearin in this rock on
I love the Brady Bunch
If real American families aspire to reach even half the wholesomeness level of the Brady Bunch, they wouldn't be so dysfunctional......and there wouldn't be any school shootings today!
Real American families?
@@Luvie1980 right? Real? What defines real? Because the Brady bunch would be the furthest thing from reality there is. BTW I believe families did try this in the 50s and 60s. Wives were miserable, husband's barely spent time with their children, everyone was closed minded and bigots. It wasn't anything like in the Brady bunch.
Also instead of trying to make America into the Brady bunch it would be easier to hace stricker gun laws and outlaw semi autos. "Assault" rifles. They are made for Assault and to murder.
i remember this episode !!! lol
Me too. I was something like 8 or 9.
I love this song so much!!! I actually have all Five seasons of this show on DVD. I also have both of the movies. I binge watch this show a lot. Luv it
Jan is feeling it!
Just showed this to my teen brother because it’s what comes to mind, now that his voice is changing.
0:32 Peter sound like Casey kasem voiced by shaggy from scoody doo
They had to dub over his voice because he was so tone deaf that he couldn't even sing badly correctly. So that voice they used for him could have been done by anyone.
I love all the singing ones!
I remember cranking this in my 1993 Mustang LX 5.0L lol!
🤣🤣🤣
This is why The Brady Bunch is so popular today. Too many people worship success and money instead of Family. That is why I like what the Character Carol Brady said, " Success and money are nice, but people are more important". It is something that Politicians, Teachers, and many more people in this world need to remember.
Wanting One Angel did you know that they also were having affairs with eachother
Rodeo Jones and waddietwo+ Sadly, many times Actors do not always follow the Moral examples of the Characters they represent. Also, With profound sadness, these Actors were just Teenagers brainwashed by the attitudes from the 60s, which America never fully recovered from. Acting in many T.V. shows that emphasizes morality and kindness towards others is NOT the reason for their rebellion! It is just that people sadly can be brainwashed into thinking that bad is good and good is bad. It would take too long to explain how as well as why this happens and I just can not make this response any longer than this. However, that does NOT take away from what Florence Henderson's Character Carol Brady said, " Success and money are nice, but people are more important"!! It is something that in America Teachers, Parents, Politicians, Doctors, Drug Companies, and many other people in our world need to remember.
Speaking of Family, do you like dem cutaways?
Teachers do remember that. They get underpaid for the hard work that they do.
I want to talk about how Cindy’s purple jumper, white gogo boots and pigtails are fire.
I also want to talk about Bobby and why he shakes his head so much when he’s groovin’.
Greg’s jacket fringe.
I had Cindy’s boots in black in the 90s! Her outfit is pretty cool for Cindy!
I love the way Jan's sweater fits so tightly along with her short dress. She looks absolutely awesome.
She is 14 years old. You are fucking disgusting. Pedophile.
@@haylee219as the resident expert on pedophilia I have a question for you…I had a big crush on Jan when I watched the show as a teen, for me to voice how hot she is make me a pedo today too?
She did! Looks like the turtleneck Carol wore to exercise in the Cousin Emma episode- wonder if they passed clothes down- I know they repeated outfits. The girls all have hotpants and high boots on, very true to the time and a cute look.
A song for these troubled times. The Bradys were so visionary.
A song for these trouble times? You got a roof over your head? Are you starving? Lighten up, Francis.
Bruce sang this on his way to the hospital for his Caitlyn surgery.
Lol 😂
😂😂😂
😂😂😂
Lmao!!😅😂😂
*botched Caitlyn surgery
Love this! I still remember most of the lyrics:)
Eve Plumb was always drop dead gorgeous!
For the late 1971 period filming of the episode, it has to be said that it was a little slightly risque having Eve Plumb wearing the period hot pants, she was all of thirteen when the filming took place.
Totally killer Brady Bunch tune!!!
I really love getting a look at a recording studio of the day. I mean there is more than one knows about what goes into recording a hit song. Notice how Cindy is the only Brady kid sitting on a stool so that she is singing closer to the microphone. I also love the episode featuring a cameo by the late great Davy Jones when Marcia sneaks into the studio to see her idol, Mr. Jones. Marcia was such a beautiful young lady!
I guess I used to sing this song sometimes when my twenty-eight year old son was little and he just looked it up on UA-cam because he never saw that particular episode and thought it was hilarious. In Massachusetts, it seems for years, the Brady Bunch was always on tv and just like Gilligan’s Island (same producer) if you watched it long enough, you know the each episode by heart.
this is the most 70's thing that the 70's ever 70'd
Such good wholesome fun.
this is a high-key bop
I was born in 2003 but this always put a smile on my face. I wish I was 16 in 1973 Instead of being that age in 2019. The 60s/70s rule! Love the Brady bunch! And the music is waaaay better than junk kids call “music” today...Jan’s my fave character 😁
Same here, though I wish I was 16 in 1970 and 19 in 1973. Though, I was born in 2002. My favorite songs are "The Letter" by the Box Tops, "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" by The Beatles, "Superstar" by the Carpenters, "It Hurts To Be In Love" by Gene Pitney, and "Go All the Way" by Raspberries. Though, I am really into pop culture from the 1950s-90s. Greg is my favorite character. That episode when he enters high school is so relatable.
Street Stallion me too living now is crap

The Brady Bunch always puts a smile on my face when I hear them singing those great old song they should’ve got a record deal like the Jackson 5
On this day in 1972 {February 26th} the Brady Bunch Kids performed "We Can the World So Much Brighter" and "It's Time to Change" on the Dick Clark ABC-TV Saturday-afternoon program, 'American Bandstand'...
Neither song was released as single...
"The Brady Bunch' was an ABC-TV network family sitcom which aired from 1969 to 1974 with a total of 117 original episodes...
The Brady Bunch Kids did release one 45 RPM record, "Everything I Do", in August of 1973 and it failed to make Billboard's Top 100 chart...

Greg with the Daniel Boone look. Groovy
Those were popular back then!
Who knew Maureen McCormick was such a nice singer and the others too
I think Barry and Maureen are the only kids voices that are actually singing in this. I'm pretty sure they use other people than the actual actors for the other parts.
my childhood ❤
I used to watch the reruns of the Brady bunch in the 90s when I was growing up. I had such a crush on Greg Brady until my mom told me she did too when this came out in the 70s

This is when Peter's voice was changing love this episode
Wish I could find this episode but it's NOWHERE to be found on Hulu, which has most of the Brady Bunch episodes, nor on Paramount, nor ANYWHERE online.
It's awesome that they did these songs in The Brady movies in the 90's. Too funny....
Love Groovy Greg's fringe & the girls' go-go boots! AWESOME!
Such a Cool song and to think when I was kid this was prime time. And later, after school syndication. Who could not feel better after listening to this!
THE BRADY BUNCH I LOVE THE SONG’S
I wish the recorded song had the doubling effect on the verse voices. Sounds awesome.
I noticed the doubling too. ;) Didn't know the album was mixed differently.
Sun shine day!❤😂
Just got to play this for my future son(?) in law who’s transitioning to male at 26 & complaining about their voice cracking. 😂 I am having a hard time keeping up with the times, but when in doubt, I just try & ask what Mike Brady would do. #WWMBD?
Did he also have to Re-arrange?
Great song so inspiring
So glad I have this complete series and tv set on DVD now, all under $50.00!
LOVE This!! Takes me Back to my Childhood!!!! xoxoxo
Went down a Brady Bunch rabbit hole showing my 13 year old daughter clips after she was bouncing her volleyball in the the living room. "Mom said, don't play ball in the house!" She was unimpressed but I couldn't stop singing this song. Sigh.
haha love it! Great one.
The best song from the whole show
Peter was always the cutest!
100%
I like this song
I love the voice crack, i just crack up laughing
Cool Stuff! Love those outfits! Great song! ❤
Groovy
These kids pipes be banging!!
Who did the cracked singing voice of Peter? It cracks me up when he starts singing.
He was going thru puberty
I think they mean the real cracking…dummy
Poor Peter... not only is he going through puberty, he's also tone deaf and completely lacking in rhythm! ;-)
Um... I think you completely missed the point. The reason Peter can't sing on pitch or stay in rhythm is BECAUSE his voice is changing due to puberty and he thus has little control over it.
Yes, that may be. It just didn't sound to me like Rob Linxweller understood this distinction.
Not that it's all that important, but I did understand... I put a "winky" there, but sometimes sarcasm doesn't come through on the web.
Yet Christopher Knight did sing with the rest of the cast the next year in real-life. Maybe he wasn't great but could stay on pitch unless he was just mouthing the words.
The problem isn't the web, it's your writing skills.
I'm a 61 year old english man, and have just watched A very Brady sequel. And this song really struck a chord with me. Strange thing is that the Brady Bunch was never shown in England. I've only seen clips on you tube. The two films were fun.
It was shown, but early, around teatime when the kids' TV shows were on before the news. Though the kids' shows still carried on on BBC2 when the news was on BBC1 and ITV. I don't remember it being a massive hit here though. We were making a lot of weird sci-fi kids' shows that were more popular in Britain back then, things like The Tomorrow People; Sky; Children of the Stones; The Georgian House; Nobody's House... The teatime children's magazine shows were popular too, Blue Peter, Magpie, Why Don't You? Then there were the endless cartoons; old Laurel and Hardy shorts; Hooray for Harold Lloyd; Rentaghost; plus that good 1970's Famous Five series. The Brady Bunch probably got lost in the mix, I think our shows were better at the time and we had lots of them.
The Brady girls are so cute ❤
I liked the way they used Peter's changing voice
