Winding its way through the lush, vibrant, green forest of Golden Ears park is Gold Creek with its beautiful clear water and bottom of multi-coloured stones. This paddle turned out to be a very fun and rewarding adventure for Alex and I in our packrafts, consisting of a hike in and float out to our starting point. Thanks for watching!

We did not find gold, but the paddling is just as good
All that glitters, is gold! The adventure in this case all da way.
Awesome!! Love the variety. 👍🇨🇦😎🌲🌊🐾🏕🛶
Super weird, Stumbled across this some how.
That’s me sitting on the log eating lunch when you guys first take off from half moon. I remember waving to y’all!
Haha, that's cool, hope your day was awesome!
Excellent
Thanks Frank!
Cool cool love getting a look into your backyard
Thanks for watching!
What brand of pump was used to inflate the kayaks?... oh , I see the answer in the comments below ... doh !
Need to add fins makes it so much more enjoyable
Biutiful
Thanks for taking us into Golden Ears amazing couldn't believe how clear the water was very nice to see. Rapid action seemed to be manageable. Its so great to see Nina each and every time special pup for sure. See you next adventure thanks.
Thanks Richard!
What an amazing time. Nina living her best life
I love the vibe in this video. Looks like you had a great adventure!
Absolutely we did, it's great to get on the water every once in a while!
Thanks loved it🙂
Very nice adventure my friend👍👍👍
Thanks for watching!
That looks super fun.
What a great film! Loved it immensely!
One question: where was Nina when you ran the most technical bits solo?
Cheers from Portugal 🇵🇹!
Thanks Miguel! Nina was on shore with my friend for the more technical sections
Sick! That was my go to place back in high-school days
A pretty beautiful place to explore, that's for sure!
Nina and Luke spinning head intro! A lovely touch Luke! Yes, worth mentioning it a second time Luke. 😁
Haha, that was fun to make, thanks Allan!
epic👌👌
Thanks Abhi!
🤙🤙
Beautiful video Luke.!:)
Thank you Emily
The 90's hop hop vibe had me right into this.
you should go take a whitewater paddling course, as a whitewater instructor there are so many things that made me cringe in this video
lack of pfd ?
Helmet. ⛑️ 🪖
I agree..... I hope they had fun but they can learn a lot from this.
fun river but the lack of basic safety equipment is putting yourselfs at risk and others. SAR teams are flat out with inexperienced folks doing things without the basics done right. Posting these adventures on youtube is great but as posted above. Practice and get some training. Best of luck in the future.
"We paddled the rapids one at a time for safety" as the paddler pass' by without a helmet.
Love your channel... nothing better than the great outdoors 🌲🌲
Absolutely, thanks Joseph!
What brand of packraft did you use? And where'd you get the little pump? That looked super cool.
We both had Alpackarafts and Alex's battery pump is made by flextailgear
Did the pump work out of the box for your raft since Alpacka rafts has a proprietary valve or did you have to make some kind of modification?
great to see you using the old intro again.
I only made this intro a few weeks ago, just for fun
Great location Gold Creek! Love the adventure dog.
Thanks Dan!
I like your videos, but your dog should be in a pfd.
I got one last year, have a look at my recent videos
I am grateful to see you using the I think foxtail pump to inflate the Packraft I ordered a new pump for my sleeping pad and wondered if it would work for my new Packraft that I received but now it’s dumping snow. So I am waiting for my dry suit.
Great river for your type of canoe!
This is what packrafts are designed for!
Amazing day!
It is absolutely relaxing to watch the video😇
Thanks Bindu!
Nice one dude!
Thanks Timo!
What packraft is this?
The alpackaraft explorer 42
amazing video and adventure wow 👏 .
just curious, do you have extra paddle? what if you lose one?, how do you know that theres a waterfall approaching?gps?
tnx for the video.
Thanks Frankie! No extra paddle, you just don't drop or let go of yours. We scouted the creek on the way up and knew where the upper and lower falls were, so we also knew where to get out.
Try Mamquam Lake --> Pitt Lake --> New Westminster. Some guy on CTread tried it and had to get air lifted out
Ya I've seen how beautiful that part of the Southern Garibaldi Park-Pitt watershed-Pinecone Burke area is, but also quite remote, so it's no wonder that few people ever see that area.
Slick bro!
Did your friend have Nina in some of the rougher sections?
Nina was on shore for those parts
What day did you do this? I coulda swore I saw you
saturday
what pumps are you using?
Alex had a pump made by flextailgear
@4:26 bite so big I could taste it!!!
Gotta get those calories in!!
Camera choice bad. It's not pretty to watch it looks fake.
Hey Luke far better if you didn’t join the others with shitty background music,Just let it be
Really enjoyed the adventure and scenery, but did not like the background jazz. 🙂
