Thank you for this informative video , it has reignited my desire to one day do the . trip. I have a family connection, some years ago my paternal aunt Eva Mitchelmore lived in the area at Gilberton and did a trek at age 79 around the top end pushing a wheelbarrow with her trusty dog to raise money for the R.F.D.S. and I have long had a desire to visit the area. my father used to visit and fossick around agate creek and I remember him returning home with a suitcase full of samples which he would then cut and polish on his lapidary gear, ah well memories are made of this!!!
