    My issue. We joined a new ISP. And now have a smart modem. I can only connect to dmss when using one of our two wifi connrctions. Can not connect using mobile data at all. Where I could with previous ISP.

    that app is the worst . connect only when you on the same network. you go on cell it will stop working

    How do I fix if I’m receiving the same error when connected to WIFI? I have cameras at work and at home. It’s only the home cameras that fail to load. It was all fine until a week ago. Any suggestions? Many thanks. Kasie.

    Hi, I recently started having an issue with my DMSS app. It lets me log into the app when I try to view the live cameras. It tries to load it and then stops it. It then asks to enter the device password. When I enter the password, it says incorrect password. I have 8 cameras and it does this with all the cameras. I would really appreciate it if you could help me to fix this issue. Thanks

      the issue isn't in UA-cam or the content creator, it depends on what issue you're facing so it may not work for you and work for another one because both of you are having different types of issues in your devices

    Doesn't work. Have changed broadband router and now cannot view the CCTV cameras on my phone.
    This and the gdmss plus app are the worse apps I've ever used.
    They don't explain to normal people how to sort issues out or even set up.
    Have used this previously for over 4 years without too many issues, but doesn't work anymore. What is the point of having CCTV of I can't view it when I need it????

      Ask for help, some things are left for experts. Call a local technician for help or call Dahua support.

    Not working, I also modified IP to Static in modem as well as the XVR and the app still not allowing to view or access anything on cellular network

      Delete you camera then add Camera Sl number manually. Use p2p and doing this activities using mobile data

    Delete the device and add the camera via P2P ( SN number) issue is solved

    Dmss app installed in new mobile and trying to see live cctv footage but none of the cameras video is there. Account name is there but no footages. How to resolve the issue

    I changed my wifi name and password now I can't view on my phone. I tried connecting back but it says already connected. So I deleted the app and re downloaded. When I scan the SN and select DVR/XVR it's says failure to connect. 1. Device not initialized or 2. network not configured. How do I get set back up? And how do I see what internet my device is connected to or how to do I change it?

      It can mean 2 things:
      1. your DVR is not connected to internet. Check going to main menu>Network> P2P if ot says online.
      2. if it is online then go to Main menu>network >tcp ip and check your IP address.
      3. download ip scanner on your phone and check if both your phone and DVR r in segment. they can only be in different range if ypu use Access Points or 2 routers.

    Hello before my gdmss plus was working good on mobile data then i downloaded gdmss lite app and tried to connect device with that but it was asking me to connect to wifi . I don't have wifi connection then i deleted this gdmss lite app and again when i opened my gdmss plus app it also asking for wifi now how can i solve this issue

      gdmss was previously used for remote access, try DMSS app, it will resolve the issue.

    Hi , my dmss was good, and recently when the camera is loading it gets to 98%and stop there then connection failed after few second or when it successfully see the camera the loading speed is 0kB and sometimes random KB and go back to 0kb , any solution for this ?

      You need to be in same network, download correct app and scan S/N.

      2 things to check
      You need to add the cameras properly by using Scan S/N, not ip domain or search online.
      Secondly turn on autoplay feature as shown in the video.

      Need to check if your connected to internet with physical cat5/6 cable. Check if there is orange green light flashing behind NVR. If not then cable to router is faulty replace and establish internet connection.

      @@DevineShrine I followed your instruction, go to "Me", "General" then turn on "Auto Play ......" No other error message apart from "Your device is not connected to wifi".

      @@tyik autoplay is for cellular region. When u r not connected to wifi cameras will autoplay in phone range.

      @@tyik Ok check i Main menu> Network> P2P is it showing online. If not then go to TCP IP and press on edit pen icon and tuen on DHCP. It should resolve the issue.

      Are you using any repeaters in the house. If yes make sure your NVR and phone are in the wifi network. Just a try.
      There still can be number of reasons, you may need an onsite visit from qualified technician.

      P2P peer to peer is used for remote access. I know should be enabled.

      @john I think the probable cause is how you added NVR to DMSS. If you add NVR using IP/Domain or Online search then we get this problem.
      So you need to delete the cameras and add it using SN/Scan.
      That will resolve the problem.

      to delete the exiting cameras from app just go to three dots next to play button, then device details, then at the bottom press delete

      @@DevineShrine only when i'm in the house they will work if i'm away from home for more than 2 weeks i can not view them via wifi away from home, then i get a lost connection/timed out message
