I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE. I just purchased a Dahua NVR 16 channel and a Dahua PTZ. I do not want to connect it to my desktop. I just want to run it in a stand alone operation. After setting up the NVR as you have, I cannot get the NVR to find the camera. I have watch 20 videos and not one has given me any idea what I might be doing wrong. Can you help me? thanks

Can this take POE cameras? Im guessing if they're powered by a switch you can add once they get on the same router network? Noticed the back of the NVR had no ports.

it sucks you did not show activating the two way using the browser without the NVR. Can you please reply how it could be done without the NVR while using the browser.

Your new mobile app Dmss is inferior vs old gdmss plus. It lacks ability to search only past hour or any hours specified. This is inferior as only 24 hours search is slow. No memory play as well. Please add ability to do last event or past hour search. Old apps had this. If something happens and you try to watch last 10minutes on dmss app, you will waste 5 to 10minutes as the app loads 24 hours search all data as it only does full 24 day search block. It has no ability to search only few hours. Thanks.

Hi, thanks for the good explanation. 1 question, did you install the HDD before you've done setup, or it can be done without installing HDD?

I have the problem that when I add an IP camera I can see it on the DVR but in the app it says "connection failed" HELP!!

If you’re still having trouble, change ports in the back of your modem. It worked for me.

It was all super fine when installed but couple I messed up settings now.. Dahua 5mp camera On mobile app Live quality is fine When Recording play on mobile quality drop down both day and at IR mode? What exactly went wrong? Any expert pls help

I can not reset it. Pushing a button 5 or even 15 times don't do anything. Any sugestions how can I reset password?

Below Mentioned steps worked for me. *Disable the wifi and enable Mobile data in your mobile *Go to your DMSS app click on three dots near the device name, click on device details then scroll down to last and delete the existing device. *Now click on the + symbol on the top right corner, select the scan option and you can scan the QR code (SN) to add the device again. You should have the device serial number (QR) and user name and password. My issue was solved with this steps.

I have no problem connecting to the live stream, but when accessing a recorded event (Playback), we always get "Connection Failed" . Any ideas?

Hi, I recently started having an issue with my DMSS app. It lets me log into the app when I try to view the live cameras. It tries to load it and then stops it. It then asks to enter the device password. When I enter the password, it says incorrect password. I have 8 cameras and it does this with all the cameras. I would really appreciate it if you could help me to fix this issue. Thanks
