I have to congratulate Josh on his flawless pronunciation of "Madeira". It's actually jarring, really: you're going along, listening to the normal English, when suddenly this word pops out, sounding for all the world like it came.out of a native Portuguese speaker. It might be the best I've ever heard from a non-native. Nice.job, Josh!

My paternal great grandfather was born in Madeira. Never got a chance to visit, but it’s definitely on the list.

1982 first visit to Madeira, scary stuff driving from the airport to Jardim do Mar , There were no tunnels then , very different experience driving in the tunnels. Enjoy ,give my love to the island hope to be there next year to visit my mom in law. She will be 91 in January everyone lives long on that island.❤️

I never was in Madeira, I´ll try to know its. Heavenly. First Coimbra, I hope for new year. At 15:00 of the video you got a problem with a bug. Best way to solve that is trapping it in a glass and then sliding a card or a paper between the surface and the glass (plastic goes too) trying not to squeeze anything. I even trapped a small bat with this method. Afterwards I free the animal. Madeira is really beautyful, but for ppl older than 25 years, IMHO. Thanks!
