As a guy I really identify with this, bright colors often don't feel like they would look good on me. But if I was dressing my partner, I'd almost certainly go straight for the bright colors. Probably this has something to do with societal expectations of masculinity that go away when you're dressing someone else.
EDIT: Well, it turns out I'm not a guy. Joke's on past me, I have a wardrobe with brightly-colored dresses now :)

I'm dying. He asked "what activities are you engaging in?" which is something I never ask myself when I pick out my wardrobe. LOL isn't that wild! That is the smartest most practical question when it comes to getting dressed! I love it!

Suggestion - pick the 5 items from your wardrobe that you wear the least. Style each and wear for the day. If you don’t love it by the end of the day, donate the item. Sierra Schultzzie did a similar video, and it was great!

idea for a challenge: let your viewers give you coordinates. 7th hanger from the left. 2nd drawer 1st pile 4th item. 3rd orange piece that you come across in your closet. etc. and whatever comes out of it you have to wear. 😊✨

I really enjoy seeing just happy content like this. Just a happy couple, being lovely to each other. No drama. This is exactly the kind of content I need with the world in the mess it is currently.
I’m so anti marriage thanks to the fact my now ex wife and I are going through some ridiculous drama right now and we were barely married for two months. Then I see couples like this and remember people can be happy with someone else. But, I love being a single workaholic mum too much to even think about even casually dating for like..... 10 years? 🙃
What about doing a video where you take say 10 clothing items and wear them for 7 days in as many different ways as possible, like accessories included. Also loving this video so far.

I mean, personally, there are days where if hair weren't a concern I might wear a hat but I choose not to because it would mess up my hair and cost me the time it'd take to fix it when I take the hat off, but that's probably not the issue under consideration in this instance.
I feel like a lot of men tend to say "it's the same colour so it goes together" haha! debatable
The orange trousers are so chic though! I think with a black long sleeve mock neck top, or a darker rust brown maybe too, or a dark teal perhaps. Or a graphic tee, like a band tee or similar. They're like 70's trousers but with a bit sleeker modernity to them as well 🧡 This was a super cute video!

Day 3’s cardigan + shirt dress are a lovely combo by themselves!
Day 7’s pants could have: 1) the grey tank top tucked in and the blue and white striped long-sleeve shirt over top or 2) the grey striped long-sleeve shirt tucked in with Day 3’s cardigan over it!

I loved this video so much, it's exactly the fun light-hearted video I needed this week! 🧡 And do love the HanDan fashion pro tip that when in doubt, a bunch of yellow/orange stuff together will look good!!
Also because I'm barely 5ft I have the same "issue" with those Lucy & Yak trousers and their shape. I roll them up a bit and either wear them with a tight top or (some very specific) tucked in jumpers
yeah looking back on the footage I think the orange trousers looked great on my when I was just in my bra so I think there is potential but I need to style more to my petite shape on my upper half for it to work!
@@morehannah for styling those in the cold you could wear warm leggings under and do a tight turtleneck. My favorite way to style loose bottoms is a tight turtleneck, it makes my boobs look fantastic when I’m wearing a good bra.

Slow fashion challenge idea: Wear Summer Items for a Week in Winter
You seemed to really enjoy that Dan tried to turn your spotty dress into a winter outfit, so maybe give it a go with other items you'd usually keep exclusively for summer?
It's good idea for slow fashion as well, because if it works you've basically doubled the use you can get from your clothes!

depends on the fit/style. i have such a tough time finding jeans that fit properly, but, when i do, i find them quite comfy!

As someone who's wardrobe consists of 98% black it was quite interesting to see styles incorporating so many colours. For some reason that just never struck me like that before.

@@morehannah I can confirm that it works a treat at even -15ºC. Dan was on the right track, the air space between the fabric and your skin is key!
Idea, for summer dresses in winter, layer a thermal long sleeved top underneath an a a warm chunky cardigan!
It is a good exercise for having kids and having to dress them.

I honestly loved the Wednesday, Friday and Sunday combos? Especially the Sunday one! I think the pants silhoutte looks good on you and the combination with the funky jumper was really nice

I snorted when Dan picked a third Lucy & Yak item for the first outfit. I discovered their brand when you first showed off those rainbow striped trousers in a video, I am now obsessed and have a bunch of their clothes.
Video suggestions: styling clothes that I never wear or trying different styles from my wardrobe (eg cottage core...)

This was so much fun, loved Dan's statements and am giggling through the comments reading all of them. And honestly him doing your hair was adorable.
This may have been commented before, but for warmth with wider trousers: tights or leggings underneath! Added bonus: trousers can then be rolled up without having freezing ankles (and, depending on the colour of the tights/leggings, they can add colour to the outfit).
On a different note, this video was fascinating! I am a very visual person and I have never had problems putting together outfits. My brain immediately knows which colours work together (in my opinion). I never realised apparently not everyone finds it that easy.
Your wardrobe is so full of beautiful pieces that you clearly love, and they are all so different but still clearly your style; just looking at your closet gave me so much joy and inspiration, so I am really enjoying seeing you experiment with that.
Regarding more challenges using clothes you already own, I can recommend these:
- monochromatic looks (or at least withing certain colour palettes, like only yellow, brown, orange one day and only red, pink and purple the next etc)
- only natural fabrics
- only the absolute favourites (like, top 3 pullovers, top 3 trousers, top 3 dresses etc) and see if they work with each other
- making summer pieces work in winter
- wearing things not as they are 'supposed' to be worn (put the t-shirt over the pullover, wear a cardigan upside down, roll up trousers way higher than usual etc) (I know this can be a bit silly but also quite eye-opening)
- try and put together outfits without sticking to any of the rules that you follow only because it's a well-known 'fashion rule', like 'black goes with everything', 'fancy things only go with fancy things' etc. The aim would be to find out whether you actually like those rules or you just follow them because that's what you think you're supposed to do.
- capsule wardrobe
- 10x10 challenge: ten items of clothing make up ten different outfits (google for further details)
- pick one item and style it differently each day for a week
- Dan's clothes (if he's okay with that)

This is possibly the most adorable thing I have seen all day. We so rarely see Dan in videos (which is totally fine since it’s your channel and there is no point in making him be in videos if he doesn’t want to) but seeing the dynamic between you two is so cute!

There is the 10x10 challenge. I know it from german Instagram, I'm not sure if it was already done in the english community. @lauramitulla was the account I found this on, on instagram. It's basically creating a capsule wordrobe with 10 items of clothing (excluding underwear, and socks, i think) for 10 days. So picking items that go well with one another and can be combined in various ways, to create a maximum amount of outfits with as few items as possible. I'd love to see you do that. :)
And i also LOVE how you talk about ethical consumption without making it seem as a hurdle or inconvenience! And I just love you and your content in general! :)
I love to see you do the 10x10 wardrobe challenge, where you select 10 items of clothing and have to make outfits from just those 10 articles for 10 days. The Anna Edit does it from time to time.

Something about the high-waisted rainbow lucy and yak pants with the billow-y shirt gives me real rainbow pirate vibes! Also the grabbing dans feet when hes also wearing mustard socks was so cute!
