I love your videos guys, is it possible you can make a video about how not to pay much taxes, I’ve been living in Canada for 2 1/2 years and both years so far I paid many thousand of taxes 😭😭 even I elevate my paid taxes in every weekly payment and put money into my RRSP. Thank you 🙏🏻 👍🏻🙋🏼♂️😁
Can you guys discuss topics on real estate i.e. affordable provinces/cities to move to or buy a house, rent-to-own program, first time home buyer incentive, flipping houses, where the market is expected to be in the next few years, and etc. ?
Love hearing about your journey and it's awesome that you're both running the business together. I started being serious about UA-cam around a year ago, and I finally got monetized... so now my dilemma is nailing down how much to allocate toward paying myself vs putting back into the business. Love the editing style in this video btw! ✌
Thanks, Marc! Good question - sometimes, it usually comes from not feeling like we have enough time to get everything done that we want to, or done in the way that we want to, vs not having ideas. Usually getting on the same page and reorganizing our schedule and priorities helps. 😊
Congrats you two! Very inspiring. When you put your heart into your work, it shows. We all have a lot to learn from you two in content creating and making UA-cam a business. For me right now, it's more of a creative outlet and way to track our TFSA.
Assuming that you’re either not employees (and that you’re directors) or that Canada does not have minimum wage legislation or that 7.27 is minimum wage - otherwise would you not be falling foul of minimum wage legislation?
We incorporated before opening our business account - before that, we had a joint account, so we transferred all of the money from there to our business account. 😊
Hey Emma! We can talk about this more in a future video, but we did a big equipment upgrade (editing system, lighting and audio, etc) and have two people helping us with editing / thumbnails. 😊
Love this video & the transparency! Would love to hear more about the pros/cons of being incorporated in Canada. I'm also currently looking for a financial advisor, how do I find one in Toronto lol? Any advice/tips are welcomed :)
Thanks, Tania! There's a page called 'Choosing a financial advisor - Canada.ca' on the government of Canada website that has links at the bottom to multiple credible websites where you can find lists of certified financial advisors and planners - we hope that helps 😊
thanks for being so transparent -- it's been exciting to see how much your business has grown within the past year :)) When Steph mentioned you guys are only paying yourselves a fraction of what the business brings in, is the rest being reinvested into growing the business/channel or savings for something else?
Hi! Good question - we do reinvest a portion of the money back into growing the business/channel (ie. equipment, hiring editor(s), etc). The rest we'll talk about in the future! 😊
Great video! It provided a lot of good insight into the business side of your YT channel. Also, your progress and self-discipline is extremely motivating. :)
congrats on your journey so far. I am an international student in Seneca right now but I know a college degree won't fulfil my needs for financial freedom. I would like to work for/with you guys and make a better future for myself by myself. love from this side
Question- Is the monthly income you put up for each of you? Also, do each of you work 70 hours / week? Either way love the video and your content in general. Great work! ✌🏽
@@stephandden Okay wow! I admire the dedication. It definitely shows in your content! Just a thought but would love your take on 'How to measure success in your chosen career?'. I guess I always equated that with my income but that doesn't seem to always be the best metric, especially if you're working towards long-term financial goals.
Inspiring to hear where you two came from and where you are heading. I just started reading, “The Millionaire Next Door” by Thomas J. Stanley, Ph.D. and William D. Danko, Ph.D. where being frugal is the cornerstone of wealth-building.
Wow, Dennis and Steph, this was a great video. I loved it so much. You guys are gonna get better and will be like what Andrew Tate said at the beginning: millionaires. Much love, and keep up the great work!!!
140 hours a week goes into your brand 👀 I thought since it was the two of you, you could each just put in 30-40 hours and it would be enough. Didn't realise how much goes into producing good content! You make it seem so natural I would be interested to see more behind the scenes of your activities.
Any other videos you want to see about our income and making money when self employed? Let us know! 🙌🏿🙌🏻

Thank you 🙏🏻 👍🏻🙋🏼♂️😁
It's very interesting. Can you please talk more in detail about making a corporation and make that corporation to pay yourself?
Awesome. Thank you for the insight.
I think i have watched this video 3 or 4 times already but still enjoy it. Love the transparent. When is the next update coming?
You guys should have a personal finance consultation service. Just saying I'll be interested
70/hours a week from self-discipline rather than a schedule set by a boss is incredible. You two are earning your success.
🙏🏿🙏🏻 thank you!

Hi 😊 Absolutely, we plan on doing more real estate content soon - thanks for the specific suggestions!
Love how upfront you guys are about your journey. So useful!
Thanks, Adama! 🙏🏿🙏🏻
Can I get mentored from yall?
We want to hear about your work life balance like you guys used to tell us. We don’t care about all this other stuff. Just being honest
Feedback appreciated

And congrats on monetizing!
Awesome video, amazing update, do you guys ever suffer from content burnout? What re-energizes you?

Thanks so much 😊 and that’s awesome + a great way to use it!
Great and helpful video. In many videos we hear that we could get 8% return but where could we get this return?
Thank you,
Hey Parthib! You should check out our video called 'How To Invest Your First $1,000 In The Stock Market' 😊

We're self employed 😊
What an amazing video! Would you guys be okay with making a video about how much you made from ad revenue this year?
Thanks, Dina! Definitely, we can do that later this year 😊
@@stephandden Looking forward to it! 👍
Love it! A question: did you fund your business account before going incorporated? And how did you know how much to fund?
We incorporated before opening our business account - before that, we had a joint account, so we transferred all of the money from there to our business account. 😊
Man, it's so nice to see your progression. It is very inspiring, it all looks so overwhelming. Very interesting, really.
Thank you, we appreciate that! 🙌🏿🙌🏻
Would love to better understand what “putting money back into the business” means - what expenses are there?
Hey Emma! We can talk about this more in a future video, but we did a big equipment upgrade (editing system, lighting and audio, etc) and have two people helping us with editing / thumbnails. 😊
Equipment and contractors will do it! Thanks for sharing 🥰

Was gonna ask about health insurance then remembered you’re in Canada lol
Ha! We can talk about that in the future though 😊
