The ONE thing that you do not know about voivod, is that it is a very funny band. They know how to make their audience laugh. They have some magic to it. Or maybe they are just old enough to know how to do their tricks? How the hell would I know? But they are a very entertaining band. And they are also perfect gentlemen. It vibrates from them all.
I know a lot has been said about how great Chewy has been in replacement of Piggy and I absolutely agree he is great. But Rocky their new bass player is awesome as well. I once thought that Voivod without Piggy or Blacky could never work. But these two guys more than make it work. Blacky and Jason Newsted are two incredible bass players, and for Rocky to come in and not only uphold the Voivod sound he extends it into something unique just as Chewy does. I saw them a few months ago on their Wake album tour and got to meet them. It was AWESOME !!
Snake sounds awesome in this video! He’s way underrated as a metal vocalist!! I’ve always liked his style! 🤘🏽🤘🏽
