To sum up my video in one sentence: This SuperBox S1 Pro works well; surprisingly well in fact, but the legality of the apps required to view live TV and video on demand are questionably legal at best.
The hardware itself is nothing special and something that could be purchased for a much cheaper price on Amazon (geni.us/Apdd8 (Amazon) - affiliate link). The main thing that sets this apart is that it comes with the apps Blue TV and Blue VOD. The apps are NOT pre-installed (making the device itself not illegal) but to use live TV and video on demand you will need to install these apps. When I lived in China I saw many apps like these. The truth is, I was a bit surprised by how well they work but yeah.... probably not entirely legal.

Same here. I bought mine through Ebay for $ 220.00 US and it even had a bundle with a mini wireless keyboard. Although it sometimes has a "down for maintenance" notice, it goes away soon. The picture quality is excellent and with a VPN no one will ever know you are using this service regardless of the gray area of legality.

Thank you Melvin I appreciate you and everything you have done. I had a problem with someone getting my package and wiped it or added malware I don't know . I got the box had to set it up and it never worked right and the cable company shut me down a few times . Melvin remoted in and tried to fix it but seen there was more to it no questions asked and said hey send me that back and I will wipe it and go thru it put all the things that should be there. I was so impressed I got the 3 yr plan that covers anything to the box it is the lest I could do. You are the MAN the TV Guy and when I did watch something when it worked it BLOW my mind thing that are in the theater that came out 2 day ago like magic Mikes last dance the best 4k video 5 stars. I have had a similar box "MAXX" and it has worked very well for me for about 2 years. It also does not seem legal, and I keep waiting for it to be shut down however I have saved way more than the price I paid at this time. One main issue is you need very good internet to make it run smooth so if your internet is slower than some it may lag.

I just bought the monster box and its working fine, I did not have expectations for the box but it surprised me how good it is.
Are you able to get all NFL games
NFL channels are on it. I think they pick them up from the local the channels. The video freezes up a lot.@@EW-jo9ko

I highly suggest that if you buy one of these that you isolate it from the rest of your home network, before you even plug it in.

I want to see a networking specialist analyze one of these. I took a quick peek and it screams botnet. 1000's of connections being made to/from residential IPs. Probably IPs of individuals running boxes like these. I also have a theory than the main software used for watching TV jacks into the content delivery networks of local cable providers.

After watching racing for a few hours, the picture & sound would go at double speed, then freeze up, then go double speed, then freeze up over and over again and again, several times per minute. I tried changing channels, shutting it off & starting over. Still does it ....... any thoughts..??

Does the live tv load a lot or does it work well love your channel just want to know?
The load times are pretty slow (depends on your internet connection). Occasionally there will be a channel that does not load (under maintenance) but that is very rare. Also sometimes the channel will freeze for a bit. I have found that both of these instances only happy with stations that are not super popular. The popular stations rarely have any issues.
There is Pluto TV, Google TV, and Samsung(& others) has their line of programming (some of their channels are from Pluto).
I heard streaming is not "illegal" downloading now that's different.
Does the SuperBox come with a Paid Service app to purchase IPTV?

Just got mine a week ago. There's ppv fights this week so that'll be the moment of truth becuz everything else on it has not disappointed. Works just like my cable does same channels plus way more had to cut my 250 dollar cable bill off real quick lol
I have been using super box now for several years without any real issues. Some buffeting on live tv but in general great performance, especially for vod and movies. I cut the cable 6 years ago with other boxes but this 2024 newest version is great. On fact, i am currently residing in France after moving from LA and the newest superbox is working great, albeit with issues about the time difference with US sports and news.
This box is the shit just got mine a week ago. Showed it to my grandparents worked so good they thought it was illegal lmao. Buying them one so they can cut their cable bill off too tomorrow on payday. 🤘

How does this compare to the UBOX ? I have the UBOX 7 and they have the UNBOX10 out now , which is faster than mine. Still works if you can get your way around some of the chinese languages . No guide on the UBOX , so its a crap shoot for live TV . Not many US sports channels either.
It’s like a computer, in itself it’s legal. But, once you download illegal content or access pirated content, that’s when it becomes illegal.

What they’re doing is putting the ball in your court. So yes, the box itself is legal and it CAN do those things, but by not preloading the apps in there, they’re leaving it up to you whether or not you’re going to break the law.

I've had one of these for 8mo.,I couldn't be happier,I get brand new movies,everyday more are added,picture is great,if they canceled it tomorrow,I would feel I got my moneys worthBut I don't expect they will,their still selling them
Their coming out with an updated box in May thats going to be equal or better than these other boxes these folks are so crazy about. I have had mine well over a year its the best deal I have had in a long time :)

I don’t believe the free life subscription, with the price of this box easily you can buy like 3 years of IPTV service and the specs are kind trashy. The big question will be if after 3 years the box will continue working for the IPTV. I remember the Rveal service saying the same thing and service dropped after 2 years, IPTV service was ApolloTv.

Mine works great! If you go online, you will see that it says everywhere that it is not illegal to stream, it is illegal to download.
And then they say, but is it moral?! And they leave that up to you. Definitely a gray area but I’m thinking they would have shut it down by now as this has been running for quite a few years already.

Smart TVs come with free channels these days. While the channels are from the mainstream vendors, they are often cut down to a few programs. For example, you might get CNN, but it's the "airport version" not the consumer version. Lots of foreign channels though if that's your thing. Sony TV has hundreds of channels, but I really only watch a few of them.

As a person interested in legality and cautious about foreign entities gaining access to my stuff, I'll pass. Locally, they are advertising this for $225. I guess that's a bargain. No thanks.
its 100% legal to stream, it doesnt violate any copyright laws, where i can get dicey is when one downloads stuff. And if you currently have a computer, and not worry about hackers, why would you worry about this, you are just as exposed.

Once enough people get a "box", the cable companies will disable them on their internet feed and that will be that. Then we get to pay the re-connect fee.
All bets are that those apps were blocked years ago, and maybe the marketers were sued for copyright infringement. If not, and their use could be traced to the individual user, said user could indeed be sued. Not worth it.

The live channels on the Superbox S2 Pro stopped working on my two boxes on 3/6/2021. Day two of the problem and all the tech supports have said is, "be patient".
That's how it starts, then it's stops working after 2 years since purchased. Then you go buy again
i have had that happen twice in 6 mos, kinda annoying but it fixed it self within a couple hours, but hey you dont pay anything for all the channels known to mankind.
