3 is so far the only game in the series I wasn’t able to play (original DS only, so I super missed out), so once I get the funds together to buy the collection, it’ll be the heat death of the universe before I leave my room again
To be fair, the Lost Shinjuku stratum in EO1 was sort of a mindfuck. You probably didn't really think much of the stratum progression until you got to the 5th, when you realized that you'd been going through a reverse order of societal collapse and then nature's recovery. 2 was just the seasons, and then they jumped to what the last two did.
One of the only songs that can get me hyped up. I've listened to the other Etrian Odyssey's Battlefield OSTs and none compare to this one in particular.

@@corgipants3840 Completely different stories in each. They had some common themes, but none of the games have anything directly to do with each other.
@@TheFabulousTroupe i mean doesn't EOU's story tie them together in a way? but yes the ties between the games are very well-disguised (if they even exist) to the point where not noticing them won't hurt your enjoyment of the games one bit.
a 3 remake is my top desired game in general. I have little hope for it, but SA-style track remasters and the QoL we got in IV and beyond would be sooo good
Haha, this game was freaking difficult. Love it though. Even if you're at max level with your party, some of the F.O.E.s will wreck you. Great game though.

Another one of the super arranges that's extremely well done. Love the jazzy interpretation. Probably why I like EO2U's soundtrack so much.
Easily one of my favorite SAs, and my overall favorite from EO3.
This one gets mega bonus points in my book for having a ripping saxophone solo. That shit's fucking awesome.
