Are you using a led or uv/led hybrid lamp? If you're using a uv only lamp then the problem might be that. Maybe your lamp isn't curing the product all the way. If the product is not fully cured before applying the pigments your result will be as yours came out. Maybe you could try alcohol wipe to remove excess tacky layer and then apply the pigment. The alcohol should help and the chrome should show up... but I think the problem is your lamp. A min 48w lamp should work. It'll take 2min curing time only in a uv lamp. Cure time in led is usually 60s or you could try 1min if you're not sure. This is the first time watching your video, I'm sorry if I'm getting it wrong... I don't see your lamp in the frame so this is just a guess.
I am happy for any constructive criticism! I do have a uv/led lamp. I think it's 46w but I'm really not sure. I will try wiping it with alcohol next time but, I did find that if I just let it cool down before I started applying the product it worked way better for the chrome application anyway. But they did say on the website that the base should not be fully cured when you use the other methods. That's why I'm not sure it's a safe product.
@@nails4theweek oh! OK.... then might be the product is older and works best in a uv lamp.... newer products are meant for led since cure time is shorter. Either way the mica's should show up better if the product is not tacky. Most newer manufactured gels are no wipe for mica application and it goes on shiny with very little pigment powder. I found using my finger is best for application... first tap the pigment on to the nail then rub for more reflective shine. Yes, I think the body heat helps (even through a latex glove) so it makes sense that the excess heat from the lamp affects the end result. Let me know if the alcohol works... or share an upload if the result is successful, I'm curious to know. Thanku for sharing, it's crazy that those pigments were such a fail. I'm sorry you wasted your time and money 😞
These are super super weird. For 1 the packaging is amazing but the cost is truly outrageous. 2 I definitely wouldn't do their weird application. I would just do them the way I always do chrome and not like this. This seems like it wasted a lot of product and that shsh is way too expensive to have trial and error. Thank you for showing it to us! The colors are beautiful but definitely wouldn't use it the way it says. 😅💜💜💜
