Trains at: Elmstead Woods, SEML, 13/04/24

A lovely hours session spent at the beautiful station of Elmstead Woods on the South Eastern Mainline where we see plenty of services from Southeastern and freight from GBRF.
There isn't much to say about this station other than that it was opened in 1904 by the South Eastern Railway as just Elmstead before being named Elsmstead Woods in 1908 due to the forest of the same name being next to the station.
This has got to be one of the most beautifully well kept stations I have been to in the UK, I love the small gardens that are on every platform. It's a haven for wildlife and being on a mainline railway station makes it all the more incredible.
I could happily come back here just to relax in the gardens or by the pond whilst the trains rattle on by in the background.
