I think we need to keep educating new players… and there’s a lot of them. it’s always a struggle, but as an officer I do mic checks and kick people who do not communicate. And as a squad member I try and embrace the coms and the emersion.
I am new to this game. Been watching lots of videos & live streams for weeks before I started. I’m often baffled. If mics are being used, 90% I just hear random cussing and no orders. I had one excellent skirmish were no one talked but we were all actively using Ping and worked together taking out an outpost and we won that match I really appreciated your recent video on 5 things to UNLearn from playing other games.
@@ipjc7098 nah, dude... it SO works. On German servers people sometimes even get banned for not talking. And guess what... german community IS talking.
Recently started playing as commander, and I know from the beginning of the game if we'll win or won't. Communicative (but not jabbering) helpful SL's who can also think for themself and squad we'll win. Egotripping know it all or depressed SL's we'll loose. And does not have to be all of them, just a few make this theory work. Since you'll always have a few SL's that just say the bare minimum/necessary. Same goes for playing SL within your squad. A very helpful theory, because now I know if I'll get annoyed or angry ... and thus won't. PS : that tip at 2:54 was FAB!!!! I do that too sometimes :)))
I always get placed in the squad that doesn't talk at all, or the squad where every member has to talk about everything they're doing the whole game in excruciating detail.
The thing I find most annoying is when the game starts there are 4-5 locked squads that aren’t full. This forces people who don’t want to be SL to take the role. More often than not, it ends up with that poor guy getting crap from the other leaders for knowing what to do, so he leaves. So that means some other poor bastard has to take over as SL just to put down an OP…and the cycle starts all over again. If you are playing with friends lock your squad until all your friends have joined, then open it for other players…
This game always felt more “Battlefield -ish” to me. Post Scriptum was my favorite becuase everyone tried to be a useful and communicative squad member. Hell let loose is just run and gun version of post scriptum
Taking the supply truck as a squad lead is a great idea, but your squad needs to understand you cannot tactically support them whilst doing this. It's often better to reliquish the SL role in your squad and form a locked squad and take the supply truck and build the garrison network to assist the commander without the distraction of your squad calling for a new OP etc.
Communication is on thing… I think another big problem is, that most games just survive off of 2-3 garrisons, just like here. Most people are completely clueless how to defend, as well… they think it’s enough to build one garri on the hard cap and to hunker down in there. And don’t even get me started on the ever the same stupid mates that leave their posts, whenever there’s an attack-garri or airhead 😂
Sorry friend. If you don't want to play with console players just change your settings. I play both versions btw. Sadly a lot of console controller kids feel mutually angst about pc players.
@@Jamster3116 Bullet drop is still in the game. Bolt action rifles just have better muzzle velocity and less bullet drop than other weapons. Which is realistic because of how much powder gets crammed into those cartridges.

Won't they just rejoin your squad?
@@explore512 no! You can lock the squads for that exact reason. People can still request to be let in, but the Squad leader has to accept.

wow such bad luck mate. If you finally find any nice squad, try adding them as friends so you can team up later.
I can relate, but I occasionally land in a solid squad, and it reminds me why I love this game.

Great back and forth match!
I'm so glad I have a group of 6 me included to play together :)

That piano music in the background is just….weird… with hll 😂
To me Hll has lost a little, it's tried to appeal to too many, they've dropped the bullet drop etc.
Bullet drop is still in the game
@@sap8730 Played yesterday and I shot someone without, maybe for the snipers but noone else.
Believe what you want, you could test it in the practice range
