Hey guys,
after watching a bunch of videos about bleaching hair on Brad Mondo and Hair Buddha's channels, I decided to give it a try so... I bleached my hair at home by myself. I have really dark asian hair and my goal was to get to a light brown. So I first bleached it to blond, which kind of turned out orange and the I tried my best to fix it. Maybe you can learn from my mistakes lol

It’s actually a beautiful colour! Maybe when your at the orange stage you should just bleach wash it to lift that orange . X

OMGoodness, I was on the edge of my chair the whole time watching this, it played out like a mystery drama! I was probably more nervous about the outcome just watching, than you were actually doing it. We‘ve all heard disaster stories of women accidentally botching their hair in attempts like this but you obviously did your advance homework really well. Plus, I think it helped that you apparently used higher quality products, not just what can be bought at Migros. Whew, congratulations on a job well done! Your hair color nearly matches your eye color now and it looks nice on you. I’m glad you decided to vlog this and share it with others! 🌟👏

Next time you could try pre-toning your hair with a blue shampoo when it is orange and then put the colour on as the second step. The blue should really help to tone down the orange. Fantastic job! Especially for first timer, on such dark hair!

I really like this color on u, the thing I realized from doing hair as am a mini hair dresser, ur hair ended up orangish at start bc u should have added a tiny bit of blue with the hair dye, I had a client that always wanted blonde hair but their hair never ended up the blonde shade they liked bc of the orange undertones, I put a bit of blue dye with the color I used on her and she was soo surprised and happy, she wanted a beige blonde, in ur case adding a bit of blue to the brown would have made it more of an ash dark blonde or ash light brown
Thank you for your advice! Yes i definitely should have tried that, I bought the color without knowing what undertones I would be left with after the bleach, so next time I will buy the color after to adjust better as you recommended :)

The front middle part u had in a knot/bun, that’s the amount of hair I have when I tie ALL my hair into a bun on top of my head. 😂 yes, I have VERY THIN HAIR. You are so lucky u to have such thick hair. I wish for my hair to be that thick.
Omg 😂 I literally tell everyone that I wish I had less and thinner hair! Tbh having a lot of hair + them being thick is kinda hard to deal with 🥹

Looks good I would use fanola no orange and it would help take the orange away but the end result are gd

She kinda did all that to just get some mousey brown color but if she likes it I love it!
u bleached ur hair 2x just to get that brown? 1 round of bleach was definitely enough
I only bleached one round but did it in multiple times! When I did my roots I applied the leftover product in my length too, but left it on just for a few months :)
Why you colour your hair it was better
