Modern Automotive Performance is no stranger to designing high performance exhausts for modern turbocharged vehicles, but for the 2017+ Civic Si, we decided to go straight to the owners to determine what they wanted most in an exhaust solution.
Owners demand performance and performance is enhanced by decreasing the energy and effort that is required for exhaust gasses to pass through a system. To reduce restrictions, we used 3” inch diameter stainless steel tubing and meticulously designed the system with smooth, mandrel bent routing. We also designed the long legs of the mid pipe on our CNC mandrel bender to minimize the amount of sections that had to be welded together, further decreasing areas which might create flow robbing turbulence.
Another Unique feature with our system is the ability to eliminate the factory 3 Bolt connections on the front of the catback and the rear of the front pipe. We offer the “For use with MAP Front Pipe” option that connects to the front of the midpipe section via V-Band, and then goes to the V-Band connection out the MAP Civic X front pipe, offering the least restrictive catback on the market for the Civic X 1.5T - Авто та транспорт

It's definitely a tough choice! The race is quite a bit louder paired with the aftermarket downpipe.

Great video love the sounds of all of them how is the drone for this exhaust? I drive 40+mins and I’m use to a drone and tire whine with my truck but don’t want something with crazy drone on the car
If you go the MAP downpipe / race exhaust route it can get quite loud / drone. We think MAP downpipe and Stealth is probably best for daily driving.
If I buy the exhaust with out an maperformance front pipe can I still buy one later on in the future? Because it’s giving me an option if I’m connecting to an aftermarket front pipe and if I’m connecting to a stock front pipe but the price differs so idk what I should get if I’m planning on getting a front pipe in the future?

¡ installed the race exhaust on my car but noticed it angles weird in the rear. ¡ really want to lower my car but im scared that will be putting the exhaust at risk for damage. what should ¡ do?

With stock dp fp the race exhaust sounds best to me, but with an aftermarket dp and fp on its really hard to pick the greddy or the race exhaust as my favourite exhaust note... The race exhaust is louder but the note they both produce sounds so good! Price wise you cant beat the race muffler.. Im not a fan of quad tips but it definitely isn't a deal breaker. Ugh soo hard to choose. If only someone in the Toronto area in Canada had the race exhaust so I could hear it in person.
Certainly depends on preference, but the race one is going to be the loudest!
Gotta say stealth is best to me. Louder isnt better IMO
i think stealth is an extremely close second to the street cause I feel like it walks that perfect line between being manageable fun and obnoxiously loud

@@littleredsport5806 I’m in the same boat. The stealth exhaust with front pipe and catted downpipe sound the best imo. Street sounds good too but if you plan on getting a downpipe and want something quieter, the stealth is the way to go. I’m just at a point where I’m tired of hearing overly loud cars with their popcorn/gurgles tune that sounds shit.

So where can I get the number 8 exhaust and will it for for a sports hatchback? And the down pipe and front pipe is it done while changing the exhaust ? I’m new to cats so if that sounds stupid oh well lmao
Weed Stealer i used to have the sport hatch, got a full custom catback for it. Then I got the Coupe Si. The path is the same, but the hangers are in different locations. It’s compatible, but you will have to wield new hooks or cut the old ones.
I just wish something was available for the ex hatch lol

The Stealth setup is probably my favorite, I'm in my 30s now, I still want a louder exhaust, but I also don't want a headache driving one, nor did I enjoy waking up my neighbors when ever I'd start the car at night with my old one

Just installed my street exhaust with the rv6 catless downpipe and the sound it great. My only major complaint is that the car drones at around 2k, and then from 3k to redline. Its honestly a deal breaker unless I can somehow fix it

The Si is definitely a solid car as always, but man these L15's just do not sound good at all.
Pat W they sound better than the pissed off bees we heard from previous generations.
@_DannyPhantom_ I would like to add to my original comment that I don't like the sound of any of the modern turbo direct injection engines. The L15's, the ecoboosts, the skyactivs, I just don't like 'em. Shame because they're otherwise great engines
I agree I do not like the exhaust note of these engines but they were designed to be efficient not full on race engines. So it seems exhaust was a sacrifice they deemed necessary

Rob no problem with fitment its good and haven’t scrape and I’m lowered 2inches

Rob no it didn’t, I don’t think greddy makes dp/fp for our cars. I have FKX FP and function work DP. It’s really loud lol

Yo can someone tell me how he got rid of the redline beeping? In all his acceleration parts you can see the speedometer flash red. If you’re not aware of what that is, it’s basically the damn car beeping at you to shift. I’ve searched and searched but haven’t found an answer. Someone who sees this please tell me how. It’s very annoying when i’m banging gears and using launch control and it’s just consistently beeping in my ear to shift.
It’s in vehicle setting on the head unit. If you still have this problem hit me back I’ll help you out.

Currency exchange is 28%, shipping would be about $300 (+28%)
and the brokerage fee is most times higher than the 13% tax we
pay for goods bought here. That would end up about CAN $1900 .
And God forbid, something is wrong with the product, return fee
would be a huge loss! That is why i prefer to buy from a local dealer.
Most times shipping is free, or can pick it up, if within reasonable distance.

Yes these are our MAP downpipes.
At what point did the clutch start to slip? Was it after adding front and down pipe ? Surely it wouldn’t start doing that after adding these exhausts would it?
Not likely after just an exhaust, but ours started to slip shortly after bolt ons... around 220ft/lbs roughly
Will the stealth exhaust hinder performance? Or does it just reduce drone
the cat back portion has almost no effect on performance its just about how you want the car to sound. the downpipe is where you make power on the 10th gens

No one will see any gains whatsoever with an exhaust on these platforms unless you have the soon to be MAP turbo kit or PRL Turbo Kit but not sure if that's been tested yet or not. I know PRL removed their exhaust from their 3" frontpipe and saw no gains but that was on pump and flex fuel with stock SI turbo at the time.

There are more parts involved in making an exhaust quieter. The more parts involved, the higher the cost. (Mufflers, resonators, etc)
