Thanks for uploading it. I had no idea this existed, Lauren is always fascinating to listen to, I had the pleasure of interviewing her in the past and she was very articulated and nice.
Such a great interview, an insight into the music world and some of the challenges and surprises that come with it, especially as a woman. Also... is that Reggie Watts just low-key vibing at 7:59?
Lauren recently said in a podcast she hopes to put out two solo albums with a chvrches album in-between before she is 40 then move back home to the UK, she's also stated at another event that chvrches are signed for 2 albums, they are both now signed to the same label globally so I think its safe to say more chvrches and LM are in our future after her album.
They have all said they want to do another album. We just have to be patient. Lauren will release her album soon then probably tour again. Then hopefully they 3 of them will get back together and start writing!
I love hearing Lauren's perspective, she is such a breath of fresh air. Authenticity over everything.
Flew out to Portland to see her solo tour. Totally worth it.
