you say that the Father gave Jesus unborrowed life, and Jesus gives us unborrowed life. It turns out that we are gods? And the angels? Is their life borrowed or unborrowed? are they gods too? The Bible says that it is the sole prerogative of Christ to have unborrowed life because this distinguishes Him from all creatures. and all of you are gods.

Chapter 73 of the Desire of Ages clearly explains the Comforter which is the Omnipresence of the spirit of Christ. It is Christ himself divested of humanity. The Father was in the Son and the Son was in Father. The Son wants to be in us and we in Him.

The SDA trinity doctrine makes God a liar and is plain and simple polytheism. The biblical research institute is the voice of the SDA General Conference and states: "The Son is not the natural, literal Son of the Father" . At Christ's baptism God the Father said: "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" Matthew 3:17. Forty days later, Satan said: "If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread" and "If you are the Son of God, throw Yourself down". If a person reads the book Patriarchs and Prophets, it has been the claim of Satan that God is a liar and God does not have a natural, literal Son which is the same position as the Quaran. It is the position of the Biblical Research Institute which is the SDA General Conference is that Jesus Christ is co-eternal which means that He has natural immortality and is not the only begotten Son of God. Thus also making the Son of God a liar. This is not biblical. 1 Timothy 6:16 "Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light that no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen."

When God shows them the truth directly or thru someone and they realize what they been believing is wrong, instead of humbling themselves they don’t want to see it anymore. That was what the Religious Leaders did in Christ day notice what Christ says in John 10:24-26 “Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ(the Son of God), tell us plainly. [25] Jesus answered them, I told you(John 5:17-18) and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me. [26] But ye believe not” they showed their disbelief later in John 10:33 by saying this “The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.”

Those that deny the Father and His only begotten Son are not only of the spirit of antichrist (1 John 2:22), but according to Paul's own description of himself in 1 Tim 1:12-13 are "blasphemers". As soon as Paul met and accepted Jesus on the Damascus road he straightway preached Christ to be the Son of God ( Acts 9:20).
Knowingly or unknowingly much of mainstream Seventh-day Adventism only preaches that blasphemy is claiming to be God or to be able to forgive sin. But denying that Jesus is a real Son to His real and literal Father is also blasphemy.

Carmel snd all of Adventism must answer the question, Whom will you serve; Baal or YHVH? The remnant must have Jesus' Father's name in their forehead to give the loud cry message.

Anti-trinitarian is just a more modern derogatory statement I dislike for us as was the ignorant calling us semi Aryan or Aryan that the Catholics once did to those who didn’t except their Trinity. To be anti-have something means not just against but that we accept that a trinity actually exists. We don’t think that Trinity is biblical so there is nothing to be against if there isn’t something that we believe exists.

The Third Person of the Godhead.
It amazes me how smart we think we are, and yet we are so willing to settle for a deception, thinking that we understand truth. Pilate asked Jesus, “What is truth?” Unfortunately, he did not wait around for an answer. We read sister White's statements on the third person of the Godhead, and we override the sense of her words by using our own human reasoning to explain God. For example, Mrs White wrote,
“The prince of the power of evil can only be held in check by the power of God in the third person of the Godhead, the Holy Spirit.” (Special Testimonies, Series A, page 37, 1897.) We conclude that since the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead, then the Father must be the first person of the Godhead and the Son, the second person of the Godhead. We also know Father and Son are divine beings, so we automatically decide that the Holy Spirit must be a third divine being. In spite of evidence to the contrary, we close our eyes to any other explanation, much to the pleasure of the arch-deceiver. In this topic, we will take our spiritual microscope and examine the evidence.
First, we need to understand what the word “person” means when talking about the Holy Spirit. I want to bring this down to a human level first, in order to clarify an important principle. We all have a visible physical body and an invisible spirit. When someone says cruel and unjust things about us, are they inflicting physical pain on any part of our body? The answer, of course, is No, but we suffer deep emotional pain. Where does this suffering take place? Deep in our spirit. Man's spirit is his mind, his personality-everything non-physical that makes him who he is. First Corinthians chapter 2 verse 11 says. “For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him?” Don't miss this point. Our spirit is as much our person as our physical body is our person. Our spirit is not another human being; it is our mind. Christ's Spirit in us has to do with our mind. We are “transformed by the renewing of our minds,” as it is written in Romans 12 verse 2, which work in us is done by the Holy Spirit. What our mind processes is reflected in what we think, say, and do. How much peace we have when our spirits “dwell in heavenly places.” (Ephesians 2 verse 6.) “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are children of God.” (Romans 8 verse 16.)
His Spirit is the “third person” or “agency” of the Godhead. “Godhead” means “deity, divinity,” so the Spirit of God and of Christ is the third agency of “divinity” active in the plan of redemption.
But there is more to know about the Holy Spirit, and we will use God's G P S to help us get to our destination. God's G P S will help us clearly understand how well established it is just who the third person of the Godhead is and how important that gift is to us. The following are many G P S statements to help us in our search for the truth.
God's Prophet Says. “Christ tells us that the Holy Spirit is the Comforter, and the Comforter is the Holy Ghost, “the Spirit of truth, which the Father shall send in My name.” “I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you for ever; even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth Him not, neither knoweth Him: but ye know Him, for He dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.” [John 14 verses 16 and 17]. This refers to the omnipresence of the Spirit of Christ, called the Comforter.” (Manuscript Releases, volume 14, page 179, paragraph 2.)
That explicit, definitive statement, by itself, speaks volumes. Christ couldn't be everywhere physically with His growing church, but His invisible Spirit is in every believer, meaning in our minds or hearts. He will dwell where He is welcomed. Is a person's mind part of him, or separate from him? We know the common answer to that, because we just discussed it. Now let us read a similar statement from Ellen White's pen with more context around it.
God's Prophet Says. “The Spirit was given as a regenerating agency, and without this the sacrifice of Christ would have been of no avail. The power of evil had been strengthening for centuries, and the submission of man to this satanic captivity was amazing. Sin could be resisted and overcome only through the mighty agency of the third person of the Godhead, who would come with no modified energy, but in the fulness of divine power. It is the Spirit that makes effectual what has been wrought out by the world's Redeemer. It is by the Spirit that the heart is made pure. Through the Spirit the believer becomes a partaker of the divine nature. Christ has given his Spirit as a divine power to overcome all hereditary and cultivated tendencies to evil, and to impress his own character upon the church.” (Review and Herald, May 19, 1904, paragraph 3.)
Christ's Spirit is a divine power. It is “His own character,” His own mind, His own life. In that quotation were several references to the same Spirit. The principle of letting her writings interpret themselves tells us that “the” Spirit, without the possessive pronoun, is the same as “His” Spirit. The possessive indicates ownership by Christ, not independence from Christ.
“Our condition through sin has become preternatural, and the power that restores us must be supernatural, else it has no value. There is but one power that can break the hold of evil from the hearts of men, and that is the power of God in Jesus Christ.” (Testimonies For The Church, Volume 8, page 291.)
And how does that power of God in Christ break the hold of evil in us? “There must be a power working from within, a new life from above, before men can be changed from sin to holiness. That power is Christ. His grace alone can quicken the lifeless faculties of the soul, and attract it to God, to holiness.” (Steps to Christ, page 18.) The Spirit of Christ, working from within, is the only power that can break the hold of evil from our hearts!
God's prophet wrote. “The divine Spirit that the world's Redeemer promised to send is the presence and power of God.” (Signs of the Times, November 23, 1891.) Now, come, let us reason together thoughtfully. If the “power of God” is “in Christ Jesus,” and if the “divine Spirit” is “the presence and power of God,” and if that's the “only power” that can break the hold of evil from us, then we can praise God for His revelation that the “divine Spirit,” the “presence and power of God,” is none other than the indwelling Spirit of Christ! Ellen White's inspired pen wrote explicitly. “That power is Christ.” (Steps to Christ, page 18.)
Once the scales fall from our eyes, it seems so easy and obvious to understand. What wonderful light God has given us about the third person of the Godhead. Christ omnipresent is the Comforter, the Holy Spirit.
“Christ declared that after his ascension, he would send to his church, as his crowning gift, the Comforter, who was to take his place. This Comforter is the Holy Spirit,-the soul of his life, the efficacy of his church, the light and life of the world. With his Spirit Christ sends a reconciling influence and a power that takes away sin.” (Review and Herald, May 19, 1904.) This quotation makes it plain that the Comforter that Christ promised to send “is the Holy Spirit,” which is “His Spirit,” meaning Christ's Spirit, with all the power and blessings needed for our deliverance.
Ellen White wrote many such statements of perfect clarity, sometimes in the very book in which it is claimed she wrote a statement indicating her adoption of the trinity doctrine. This next statement of hers from the same book, though, denies a third-god Holy Spirit and uplifts our Saviour in His continuing efforts to save us. “The only defence against evil is the indwelling of Christ in the heart through faith in His righteousness.” (Desire of Ages, page 324.)
“Not until the life of Christ becomes a vitalizing power in our lives can we resist the temptations that assail us from within and from without.” (Ministry of Healing, page 130.)
“The Holy Spirit, which proceeds from the only begotten Son of God, binds the human agent, body, soul, and spirit, to the perfect, divine-human nature of Christ.” (Review and Herald, April 5, 1906.)
“It is not safe to catch the spirit from another. We want the Holy Spirit, which is Jesus Christ. If we commune with God, we shall have strength and grace and efficiency.” (Letter 66, April 10, 1894.)
You cannot with honest heart make that absolute statement say or mean anything else unless you are willing to deny the inspiration of Ellen White.
And so that we may know the incomprehensible value of the Spirit of the Son of God given to believers to dwell in us, transforming us and fitting us for service to God, we have these words from inspiration.
“Heavenly intelligences are waiting to co-operate with human instrumentalities, that the world may see what human beings may become through a union with the divine. Those who consecrate body, soul and spirit to God's service will constantly receive a new endowment of physical, mental, and spiritual power. The inexhaustible supplies of heaven are at their command. Christ gives them the life of his life. The Holy Spirit puts forth its highest energies to work in mind and heart. Through the grace given us, we may achieve victories which, because of our defects of character and the smallness of our faith, may have seemed to us impossible. To every one who offers himself to the Lord for service, withholding nothing, is given power for the attainment of measureless results.” (Review and Herald, January 5, 1911.)

Thank You Father, for raising up Your faithful prophet who gives us clarity and understanding. Her writings are a G P S that lifts the fog as to who the third person of the Godhead is. And yet, why is there fog in first place? Sometimes I wonder if we red the Scriptures half-awake, when nothing registers. How many of us have red plainly-stated truths several times, but because of preconceptions, the truth never registered until finally, the light dawned? Perhaps it is because we were taught error by people we trusted, so that when truth was red in God's Word, our brains could not accept it for what it was. Perhaps we couldn't accept it because it would mean our trust was misplaced and that those whom we trusted to understand truth did not understand it! It is a hard thing to acknowledge, and yet the truth of God is abundant. We talked about John chapter 14 earlier, but consider this further thought about the familiar passage.
      Christ is the Comforter.
For three-and-a-half years, Christ was a constant comfort to the disciples by His physical presence. Then He prepared them for His departure. In John 14 verse 16, Jesus told them. “And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that He may abide with you forever.” Jesus was talking about Himself in His omnipresent Spirit. He reassured His disciples of His continued presence in their lives in verse 18. “I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you.” His disciples knew He was talking about Himself. “Judas said to Him, not Iscariot. Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?” Verse 22. If the disciples knew He was talking about Himself, why haven't we understood the same thing as we have read the same words Jesus spoke to His disciples? Is this not Laodicean blindness? Shall we not pray earnestly for the eye salve that Jesus offers to the Laodiceans without price?
Here are four more quotations from inspiration that identify Christ as the Comforter.
“Christ is everything to those who receive Him. He is their Comforter, their safety, their healthfulness.” (Lift Him Up, page 221.)
“we adore God for His wondrous love in giving Jesus, the Comforter.” (Manuscript Releases, volume 19, page 297.)
“There is no Comforter like Christ, so tender and so true. He is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. His Spirit speaks to the heart.” (God's Amazing Grace, page 187.)
“God calls upon His people, many of whom are but half awake, to arouse, and engage in earnest labour, praying for strength for service. Workers are needed. Receive the Holy Spirit, and your efforts will be successful. Christ's presence is what gives power.” (The Central Advance, February 25, 1903.) Power for what? Power for service. Power to resist evil. Power to honour God by our belief and obedience.
Why have we not known this?
As plain as this trustworthy evidence is, we might wonder again why so many of us have not known the truth about Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Why have we been deceived? We are given the answer. We have been taken in Satan's seductive trap.
“The reason why the churches are weak and sickly and ready to die, is that the enemy has brought influences of a discouraging nature to bear upon trembling souls. He has sought to shut Jesus from their view as the Comforter, as one who reproves, who warns, who admonishes them, saying, “This is the way, walk ye in it.” (Review and Herald, August 26, 1890.)
Satan, working through men he has cunningly ensnared, is trying to keep us from realising that our precious Lord is the one who dwells in us so closely as our invisible Comforter. How very welcome our Saviour is, and how much we need Him close to us! But Satan and his servants want you to believe that the Holy Spirit is someone else, a third god we don't know. Don't believe it. Your eternal life is at stake in this matter. Jesus said that eternal life is, “that they might know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom Thou hast sent.” No third god is named in this explanation of how we may receive eternal life.
Isaiah chapter 60 verses 1 and 2 has never had more meaning than it does at this time in earth's history. “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”
If you study the issue with a closed mind, having prejudice and bias, you will be looking for errors, and you will miss entirely what the Holy Spirit could show you. But if you study the issues presented in this study as a novice learner, God will lead you to understand the same truth about the Godhead that He showed to the pioneers. Please understand that to believe in a third god called “God the Holy Spirit,” is to place another god before the Father, who commanded. “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.” The “God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ” is alone the true God. That is the testimony of Jesus Himself in John 17 verse 3.
Answer this summary question, please. The Jews of Christ's time were dutifully keeping the fourth commandment while simultaneously rejecting the Son of God. How can God save a person who chooses to willfully break the first commandment while dutifully keeping the fourth commandment? In other words, which is more important, the Sabbath, or God of the Sabbath?
Satan is counting all Christian trinitarians as his victims in the great controversy. He triumphs over their misplaced loyalty. He exults in their acceptance of his blasphemous holy spirit. As for those who choose to pray to “God the Holy Spirit,” for which there is no Scriptural precedence or authority, they will be praying to Satan's counterfeit third god. Satan is always ready to intercept such prayers. He's done something similar before. Read Early Writings, pages 55 to 56. Satan knows “he cannot expel God from His throne, but through the system of idolatry, he plants his own throne between the heaven and the earth, between God and the human worshiper.” (Review and Herald, October 22, 1895.) Remember what Isaiah 14 verse 13 said of Satan. “For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north.”
Friends, a false god cannot give us eternal life. Only the true God can. Only the Holy Spirit will lead us aright. A false, unholy spirit will lead to destruction. The leaders in Adventism who encourage praying to this false god do not understand the gravity of the situation. They do not realize the eternal ramifications of what they are encouraging the people to do. Isaiah 9 verse 16 tells us the seriousness of the matter. “For the leaders of this people cause them to err, and they that are led of them are destroyed.”
What is divine counsel for this crisis?
“Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established. Believe His Prophets, so shall ye prosper.” (Second Chronicles 20 verse 20.)

The Question I have for Steve and SDA Trinitarians that I know can’t be answered but I’m going to say it anyway and that is How the Holy Spirit is related to God and Christ? They all believe He’s God, He’s Co-equal, He’s One with them(God and Christ) He can be grieved, He glorify Christ etc. but not one time in talking about the Holy Spirit(as a separate divine person) how He’s related. Notice what Ephesians 3:14-15 Says: “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, [15] Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named” The Bible clearly says there’s a Family in Heaven; A family consists of individuals that are related to each other and all have names; for example: Jesus(name) is related to God who’s name is Jehovah in that he is his Son.The Angel that stands in the presence of God who is a member of the Family in Heaven name is Gabriel(Luke 1:19) So what about the Holy Spirit? I find it very strange for someone who is not the Father nor the Son he’s a separate divine person who has no name, no scripture evidence He has a God form like Christ (Phillip 2:5-6) no evidence He’s a physical being(Acts 7:55-56 Stephen only saw God and Jesus) The Angels in Heaven worship Him that sits on the throne and the Lamb(Rev 5:11-13) yet He gets all the credit that really belongs to the Father in Christ ministry on Earth. Christ clearly says; ......the works that I do in my Father’s name(John 10:25) as well as the words he speaks is of the Father that dwelleth in him (John 14:10)

@@rickyfreeman1 Ephesians 3:14-15 “For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, [15] Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named” there is a family in Heaven remember God is the Great Original Man is the image and likeness of him. Job 1:6-8 “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them. [7] And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. [8] And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?” /// Believe it or not this did not take place on earth because after Satan questioned God about Job(Job 1:9-11) it says in verse 12 “….So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.(Q) where God’s presence is at ? Now it is said the Sons of God are the Angels or representatives of other worlds that God created(Heb 1:2) either or they were called the Sons of God, is not a Son a individual who is a member of a family? Gabriel stands in the presence of God( Luke 1:19) you mean to tell me he has no relation to the God of the Universe? Notice what the Bible says about Lucifer Isaiah 14:12 “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!” Though Lucifer was cast out of Heaven he was a Son of the Morning.

@@DonjohnsonBG no, a better translation is every family. It is talking about human families not God. Angels are called sons of God the same reason Adam is called a Son of God. Because they were created by God, not literal sons.
God is not a family. God is not a man other than Jesus becoming a man.

PART 1 OF 2 - The Bible mentions several types of spirits. We find “evil spirit,” “dumb spirit,” “unclean spirit,” “foul spirit,” “humble spirit,” “excellent spirit,” “good spirit,” “broken spirit,” “wounded spirit,” “faithful spirit,” and “haughty spirit” etc. All these spirits are distinguishable by the adjective that describes them such as good, foul and humble etc. We know that God the Father has a spirit (Matthew 10:20) and His Spirit of course could be nothing other than Holy. The word “Holy” is also an adjective be it in English or Greek. So “Holy Spirit” is not a name but a description of God's Spirit.
A person’s spirit is their mind, will and emotions. It is who you are. So, a spirit cannot be a literal person in itself. If it were, it would cease to be a spirit. For instance, in order for a spirit to be another person, it would also have to have its own spirit. In other words, for the Holy Spirit to be a person, it would have to have its own spirit in order to have its own mind, will and emotions.
The book of Job says, “there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding.” Job 32:8. A spirit is the part of a person that can be grieved. Daniel explains, “I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body,” Daniel 7:15. A spirit is the part of a person that can perceive or understand things. In Mark's gospel we read, “And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason you these things in your hearts?” Mark 2:8. A spirit is the part of a person that can be troubled. The king of Babylon had a dream and he told his wise men, “I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream.” Daniel 2:3. So we find that our spirit is our mind, will and emotions. This does not make our spirit another person.
God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ have different names and titles in the Bible because they are personal beings. If the Holy Spirit is a personal being co-equal with the Father and Son as the trinity doctrine teaches, then why doesn't it have a personal name also? The “Spirit” is not a name, it is what it is. “Holy” is just the adjective that describes God's Spirit, and other terms such as the “Spirit of God” is not a name either but what it is. It is the Spirit of God. It is also called the “Spirit of your Father” which once again is just what it is. So, if the Holy Spirit was truly a personal being then why no personal name?
Since your Spirit is your mind, will and emotions, the Greek and Hebrew word for “Spirit” also means “mind” as you would expect. Strong's dictionary says, breath, figuratively life, spirit, (including its expression and functions), mind.
Paul in Romans 11:34 is quoting Isaiah 40:13. So we know that Paul understood the Spirit of the Lord to also mean the mind of the Lord. And of course, the mind of someone is not a different person to them any more than their spirit is and this also includes God as Paul reveals below. Again, we find that your spirit is your mind, will and emotions for not only people but God also. The Greek word “pneuma” and equivalent Hebrew word “rûach” are also interchangeably translated as “spirit” or “mind” in various translations and “rûach” is translated as “mind” in the KJV Bible six times.
“Who has known the mind of the Lord? And who has been His counselor, to instruct Him?” Isaiah 40:13 Septuagint. “Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD, or being his counsellor has taught him?” Isaiah 40:13 KJV. “For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been his counsellor?” Romans 11:34 KJV. We clearly can see that the mind of the Lord NOT another being.
Would you believe it if someone said that a person's spirit is another literal being? After all, a person's spirit can be troubled, Daniel 2:3 “...my spirit was troubled...” And a person's spirit can be grieved, Daniel 7:15 “I Daniel was grieved in my spirit...” And a person's spirit can speak and pray, 1 Corinthians 14:14 “...my spirit prayeth...” And a person's spirit can rejoice, Luke 1:47 “my spirit has rejoiced...” And a person's spirit can be received by the Lord, Acts 7:59 “...Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” A person's spirit can also serve, Romans 1:9 “...I serve with my spirit...” And a person's spirit can also rest, 2 Corinthians 2:13 “I had no rest in my spirit...” So we find that a person's spirit has a mind, will and emotions. Therefore, a person's spirit must be another literal being. Right now you are probably thinking I have lost my mind, and yet this is exactly the same logic that is used to imply that the Holy Spirit is another literal being.
Someone will respond, “But it is different with God's Spirit.” Not so. Not only does the Bible reveal it is not different but in fact says it is exactly the same with only one exception. Our Spirit is within us but God can send His Spirit anywhere. If the Bible does not say the Holy Spirit is a literal being, then let's not assume it to say something it does not say. We must learn to honour God and trust what His Word reveals instead of assuming or believing our adversaries lies.
And as we have seen in Scripture, God and His Son and all living beings have a spirit which is what gives us all a unique personality with our own mind, will and emotions. For for the “Spirit of God” to be a “literal being” as it is erroneously believed today, then the “Spirit of God” would have to have its “own spirit” and one that is also distinct from the Father and Son. But then we are forced into the belief of the “spirit of the Spirit,” and if the Holy Spirit did not have a spirit of its own as per this belief, then it could not have a separate personality and hence its own mind, will and emotions anyway.
The spirit of every living being has a personality because our spirit is in fact our personality. So the Holy Spirit has a personality because God has a personality. In giving us His Spirit God gives us Himself. It is not another being and it is not some impersonal force. It is the divine manifestation and power of God Himself. It is God's own Spirit having God's own personality. If I could give you my spirit, whose personality would you have? Mine. So God's Spirit has God's personality. The same applies to the fact that the Spirit is divine because God is a divine being. Remember that God is a spirit and yet He is a personal being. “God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.” John 4:24
Notice how Paul compares the spirit of man with the Spirit of God putting the final nail in the coffin of this lie. And of course, your thoughts come from your mind and hence are the result of your mind, will and emotions.
“For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man's spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.” 1 Corinthians 2:11

    • @seekertruth3577
      @seekertruth3577 3 роки тому +1

PART 2 OF 2 - Here the spirit of man is likened to the Spirit of God. Just as a man has a spirit, God also has a Spirit in the same manner, and His Spirit is the part of Him associated with His thoughts and emotions the same as a man. Ephesians 4:30 says the Holy Spirit is “the holy Spirit of God” and to grieve not His Spirit. So just as the spirit of man can be grieved so can God's. If I told you that I was grieving in my spirit, would you think my spirit was a separate person? Of cause not. And Paul stated it is no different with God and His Spirit in this respect. God's Spirit belongs to God, just as my spirit belongs to me. So as Paul said, the Spirit of God knows the thoughts of God because it is His Holy Spirit and hence has His mind, will and emotions just like man. Paul also revealed in Romans 11:34 given above that the mind and spirit are correlated. He further shows this relationship in Ephesians 4:23 where he said “be renewed in the spirit of your mind.” This is Biblical exegesis but to say the Holy Spirit has mind, will and emotions so therefore must be a literal and separate being is an unbiblical assumption and eisegesis. Paul in 1 Corinthians 2:11 shows the difference is that man's spirit is within him but does not say this about God's Spirit as God can send His Spirit anywhere. There is also no Scripture that says the Holy Spirit is God.
Notice these examples of how “Holy Spirit” is used in the Bible. Matthew 3:16 “and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:” And in the parallel verse of Luke 3:22 “And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily shape like a dove upon him,” So these parallel verses show that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God.
For a clearer example. Luke 12:11-12 says, “take you no thought how or what thing you shall answer, or what you shall say: For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what you ought to say.” Note the same account from Matthew and what he called the Holy Spirit. “Take no thought how or what you shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what you shall speak. For it is not you that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.” Matthew 10:19-20. Matthew called the Holy Spirit “the Spirit of your Father,” and so is not another being but God's Spirit, and why it is called the Spirit of God. It is not called God the Spirit. His Spirit of course is Holy and why it is also called the Holy Spirit.
This is why the Holy Spirit has all the characteristics of the Father because it is His Spirit. Whose Spirit was Jesus anointed with at His baptism? “And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:” Matthew 3:16. By the power of whose Spirit did Jesus cast out demons? “But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you.” Matthew 12:28. The Apostles did many miracles by the power of whose Spirit just as Jesus did? “Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.” Romans 15:19. This unmistakable verse says the Holy Spirit is God's Spirit. “Therefore he who rejects this does not reject man, but God who has also given us His Holy Spirit.” 1 Thessalonians 4:8. Whose Spirit is it that dwells in us? Is it another person or God Himself through His Spirit? “Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit.” 1 John 4:13. There are more than twenty five verses that reveal this simple truth. Here is one more. “And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby you are sealed unto the day of redemption.” Ephesians 4:30
While Scripture uses the term “Spirit of God,” it never uses the term “God the Spirit” as its meaning is incorrect. The rules of grammar tell us that the phrase “God the Spirit” means it is a Spirit that is a God, while the “Spirit of God” means this is the Spirit that belongs to God. As you can see, they have different meanings and only one can be correct. Only the one that is found in the Bible is correct. The other came from the Roman Catholic Church. Phrases like “God the Spirit” or “God the Holy Spirit” are Catholic Trinitarian terms that resulted from Satan through man in 381 AD turning the Spirit of God into God the Spirit. Why? So Satan could step into his creation and receive worship as a deity just as he always desired. Hence these Catholic terms were made up to match the doctrine they created and never occur in Scripture as they are literally wrong. So why does the Bible never use the phrase “God the Spirit?” Since God's Spirit is not another God. It uses “Spirit of God” because the Holy Spirit is God's own Spirit. It is not a difficult concept. No sincere Christian should ever be caught using unbiblical terms like “God the Spirit” as you would be following in the footsteps of antichrist. Terms such as “God's Spirit,” the “Spirit of God,” the “Spirit of Christ,” “My Spirit,” “His Spirit,” and the “Holy Spirit” are used to name just a few. Also, the Scriptures never tell us to “pray to” or “worship” the Spirit. Why would the Bible neglect that if the Holy Spirit was a co-equal God of a trinity? We are told to pray “for” the Spirit, but never “to” the Spirit.
It is also worth noting that in the Old Testament that the phrase “Holy Spirit” is used 3 times, “Spirit of God” 14 times and “Spirit of the Lord” 26 times. All these phrases are synonymous and not one of these 43 verses implies the Holy Spirit is God or an actual separate being but simply the Holy Spirit of God. Jewish scholars examining the references to the Holy Spirit in the Old Testament Scriptures have never defined the Holy Spirit as anything but the presence and power of God.

We are joyous to know this quote was written while Ellen White was alive. We are joyous that it was written after the Desire of Ages which the Trinitarian and Tritheist supporters erroneously say over and over proves that Ellen returned to Trinitarianism or never left it. Could any opinion be more misrepresented or blatantly wrong?

The problem with the trinity is that it presents a false Jesus and by accepting the trinity we are worshipping a false god which breaks the very first commandment. Doubtless, as with Sunday worship, many sincere Christians do so in ignorance. But God is delivering his people from the false doctrines of the great harlot. He will have a people in the last days as represented by the 144,000 of Revelation that have no guile (no lies/error).
The Bible says in 1 John 5:5 that the key to overcoming the world is believing Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus came to save us from our sins, not in our sins or from the condemnation of our sins only, but many Christians struggle/fail to overcome, get discouraged, or even give up because the believe in "Jesus" but not the Biblical Jesus, Son of God.

As a believer in the Bi-Unity of the Godhead, Father and Son, I want to give all the Praise and Honor due them. The third person usurps the role of the Holy Spirit from Jesus. Jesus (and Paul) told us He is the Spirit of Truth, the Comforter/Helper (John 14:18, 21; 2Cor 13:5), and that He and His Father come to live in the Believer (John 14:23), not an anonymous third person. You may want to discover that Jesus was an illeist (one who constantly uses the pronoun “he” when referring to himself). Jesus spoke “in the third person” about Himself, never “about a third person” - one example is John 3:16).
Jesus called His Father, the ONLY true God. That means there is no other person beside the Father. If there were a third person, a second spirit, beside the Father's Spirit, Jesus would have said “God is Spirits”, instead of what He did say “ God is A Spirit”, singular.
Unawares, in this video, Mr. Wohlberg started his comments with the exact description of the Godhead -”like a marriage - two who are one”. Scripture states this is the image of God - two different persons in one holy union, producing children (family). In man, it is a union of one flesh; in the Godhead, it is a union of one Spirit (the Father is a Spirit). The Risen Son returned to His Father's Spirit, where He shared the Glory with Him from the beginning as the Word of God (John 1:1-2; Acts 2:32-33). Is your spirit another person? Is Christ's human spirit another person? In the same way, neither is the Creator of everything's Spirit another person (see below).
      Genesis 1:26 KJV
And God said, *_Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:_* …
      Genesis 5:2 KJV
*_Male and female created he them;_* and blessed them, and called their name Adam …
      Genesis 2:24 KJV
Therefore shall a man … cleave unto his wife: *_and they shall be one flesh._*
      1 Corinthians 2:11 GNT
It is only our own spirit within us that knows all about us; *_in the same way,_* only God's Spirit knows all about God.

There are only two thrones in the kingdom of GOD, egw states, GOD sovereign over all, JESUS the express image of GOD, Holy Spirit, the living essence of GOD. And in creation GOD's image can be seen, Eve coming forth from Adam, both one in the flesh, both fully human yet two separate beings. The source of all life is the living GOD, HIS mind and spirit are the living breath of life. We should be careful how we approach this subject, our limited minds can not comprehend the mysteries of GOD.

THE STORY OF THE SEER OF PATMOS
Chapter 5: A Glimpse of Heaven by STEPHEN N. HASKELL
Heaven, from whatever standpoint it may be viewed, presents the plan of Redemption. This plan is the one all-absorbing theme of the universe of God; and heaven reflects it in all its works (Paleo-Hebrew Aleph-Beith). Only the sinful heart of man, is unmindful of the work of God in overcoming the effects of the fall. The things presented to John show that the activity of the heavenly beings is spent ש 🔥 in the service of man. "He that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald." The light of the glory of God, as it shines in the face of Jesus Christ, is a light of dazzling whiteness, its rays are unbroken. SSP 93.1
The rainbow (השם HaShem 💧🔥🛐 - you need sunshine & rain to have rainbow) in the clouds is but a symbol of the rainbow which has encircled the throne from eternity. Back in the ages, which finite mind cannot fathom, the Father and Son were alone in the universe. Christ was the first begotten of the Father, and to Him Jehovah made known the divine plan of Creation. The plan of the creation of worlds was unfolded, together with the order of beings which should people them. Angels, as representatives of one order, would be ministers of the God of the universe. The creation of our own little world, was included in the deep-laid plans. The fall of Lucifer was foreseen; likewise the possibility of the introduction of sin, which would mar the perfection of the divine handiwork. It was then, in those early councils, that Christ's heart of love was touched; and the only begotten Son pledged His life to redeem man, should he yield and fall. Father and Son, surrounded by impenetrable glory, clasped hands. It was in appreciation of this offer, that upon Christ was bestowed creative power, and the everlasting covenant was made; and henceforth Father and Son, with one mind, worked together to complete the work of creation. Sacrifice of self for the good of others was the foundation of it all. As angels came into being at the command of Jehovah, heaven was so arranged that the plan of salvation could be read by them in everything. The arrangement of the angels in their work about the throne, is a picture of the redeeming love of God. Angelic beings know nothing different. Thus all heaven waits for the redemption of man. (Rom 8:19-22) Even the stones which compose the foundation walls, have voices which speak of the atonement. The colors reflected from every object in the heavenly court speak louder of the power and infinite mercy of God than mortal tongue can speak. Human language cannot tell the story. It is beyond description. Throughout eternity, as one thing after another reveals the love of the Father, the redeemed, like the living creatures now about the throne, will sing, "Holy, holy, holy." Upon the face of our own world, is reflected this story; for nature is "the mirror of divinity;" but man is blind, and he misinterprets those things which point unmistakably to a God of love. The purpose of this revelation of Jesus Christ to the apostle John is to show men how near God is to the creatures of His hand; that Jehovah's voice may be heard explaining the plan of Redemption. SSP 93.2

I believe we are once again rejecting Christ just as the Jewish nation. This is how we will be judged. This is the Shaking time.
    Note the thrones
If God the Father, Jesus and the Spirit of God are co-equal, co-eternal and co existent, or even as some believe, the same person, or 3 persons in one, ... no matter how it’s sliced, we have a problem with the thrones. We can NOT sit at the throne of the Most High, or sit equal to Him. Heaven forbid that we even think of such a thing! This is the Antichrist spirit. There truly is an order. Jesus was the Lamb of God, and as Christ’s lambs Jesus has invited us to sit on his throne just as the Father invited Jesus to sit on his throne. How beautiful, loving and kind. He gave his life so we could be triumphant in Him.
    1 Corinthians 11:3 KJV

    PART 1 OF 2 [Copied]
The Bible mentions several types of spirits.
Since your Spirit is your character or mind, will and emotions, the Greek and Hebrew word for “Spirit” also means “mind” as you would expect.
As we have CLEARLY seen in Scripture, God and His Son and all living beings have a spirit which is what gives us all a unique personality with our own mind, will and emotions. So for the “Spirit of God” to be a “literal being” as it is erroneously believed today, then the “Spirit of God” would have to have its “own spirit” and one that is also distinct from the Father and Son.

      PART 2 OF 2
Here the spirit of man is likened to the Spirit of God. And of course Paul also revealed in Romans 11:34 given above that the mind and spirit are correlated.
And for a clearer example.

EGW were very well aware that her writings were misused. She says: There are some, who upon accepting erroneous theories, strive to establish them by collecting from my writings statements of truth, which they use, separated from their proper connection and perverted by association with error." - Letter 136, April 27, 1906, to Brethren Butler, Daniels, and Irwin.
Steve Wohlberg has a false conception of God. "Thousands have a FALSE CONCEPTION of God and His attributes. They are as verily serving a FALSE GOD AS WERE THE SERVANTS OF BAAL. Are we worshiping the true God as HE is revealed in HIS word, in Christ, in nature, OR ARE WE ADORING SOME PHILOSOPHICAL IDOL ENSHRINED IN HIS PLACE? God is a God of truth." - Testimonies for the Church, Vol.5, p.174
"CHRIST WAS THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD, AND LUCIFER, THAT GLORIOUS ANGEL, GOT UP A WARFARE OVER THE MATTER, until he had to be thrust down to the earth. - Ms86-1910 August 21, 1910 par. 30
This is also a warning to Steve Walberg: "I entreat everyone to be clear and firm regarding the certain truths that we have heard and received and advocated. The statements of God's Word are plain. Plant your feet firmly on the platform of eternal truth. Reject every phase of error, even though it be covered with a semblance of reality, which denies the personality of God and of Christ." Review and Herald, Aug.31, 1905, par.11
There is no relationship with the Trinity and the word Godhead at all. Godhead refers to God the Father.
Godhead is often a word used by those with the non-Trinitarian truth for lack of a better word to use in opposition to the word Trinity. You can call the Trinity the Godhead but it will still be the Trinity.
The word Godhead is found in 3 verses in the King James Bible which are translated from three different Greek words that have slightly different meanings but all basically mean the same thing.
In Acts 17:29 the Greek word θεῖος translated Godhead is “theios” [Strong's Number G2304] and means to be godlike and hence divine.
Acts 17:29 KJV “Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.”
The same Greek word is used in the verse below but has been translated to the word “divine.”
[Acts 17:29 : ESV & NIV = THE DIVINE BEING ; Darby = that which is divine; Douay-Rheims = the divinity; NASB = the Divine Nature; NET Bible = the Deity
2 Peter 1:3 KJV “According as his divine power has given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that has called us to glory and virtue:” [See also v4]
In Romans 1:20 the Greek θειότης word translated Godhead is “theiotēs” [Strong’s Number G2305] and refers to the divine nature.
Romans 1:20 KJV “For the invisible things of him [singular; meaning one being] from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his [referring to one being] eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:”
Paul is referring to one being “Him” and “His”. He is NOT referencing THREE beings at all. Creation testifies to the power and Godhood of its maker. It is speaking of the nature and attributes and majesty of God. The SDA Bible Commentary Vol. 6, p.478 on Romans 1:20 says “The apostles here speaks of the divine essence and the manifestation of the divine attributes, NOT OF THE TRINITY AS SUCH”
And in Colossians 2:9 the Greek word θεότης translated Godhead is “theotēs” [Strong’s Number G2320] and means deity as in the state of being God.
Colossians 2:9 KJV “For in Him [Jesus] dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.”
The word Godhead speaks of the “Divine nature” of the Father which has been given to the Son and hence is in the Son as we find in Colossians 2:9 above. Thus Jesus being the firstborn over all creation [Colossians 1:15], and being brought forth from the Father, He has the same “Divine nature” as His Father.
The Greek word used here means essence, and nature of the divine, the very nature of God; divinity resides completely in Christ, in other words Jesus is fully divine, just like His Father is Divine.
Amplified version: For in Him the whole fullness of Deity [the Godhead], continues to dwell in bodily form - giving complete expression of the divine nature.
Christ possesses the fullness of Godhood: The Godhead is really none other than God the Father, He is the source of life and the Father of all.
Ephesians 4:6 “One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”
He is also the head of all, including His Son. 1 Corinthians 11:3 “The head of Christ is God” God the Father is the God; and head of all. This helps us understand why all the fullness of God the Father, the Godhead dwells in Christ, notice why: Colossians 1:19. KJV “For it pleased the father that in Him [Christ] should all fullness dwell.”
Spirit of Prophecy is also very clear which says. “The Father is all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, and is invisible to mortal sight.” - BTS, March 1, 1906
And so Christ being the Son receives this fullness, “He [Christ] was not the Father but in him dwelt all the fullness of the Godhead bodily,” - Lt8a, July 7, 1890
John 5:26 also tells us that the Father gave life to His Son. “For as the Father has life in himself; so has he given to the Son to have life in himself.” John 5:26. If Jesus had always existed alongside the Father as the Trinity doctrine claims, then God could not have given life to His Son as He would have always had life. But Scripture reveals this is impossible.
The Trinity doctrine states that there are three co-equal [equal in every respect], co-eternal [the same age], omniscient [all knowing], omnipotent [all powerful] gods, who are not three gods, but one god.
Godhead does NOT equal Trinity in any way whatsoever. Godhead refers to God the Father and His Divine nature which dwells in His Son because Christ is His Son.
The Catholic Church says, “The mystery of the trinity is the central doctrine of the Catholic faith. Upon it are based all the other teachings of the church.” - Handbook for Today's Catholic, p. 11
This is Rome’s Challenge to Protestants.
“Our opponents [Protestants] sometimes claim that no belief should be held dogmatically which is not explicitly stated in Scripture [ignoring that it is only on the authority of the Church we recognize certain Gospels and not others as true]. But the Protestant churches have themselves accepted such dogmas as the Trinity for which there is no such precise authority in the Gospels... it is our claim that Tradition alone - founded on the Apostles' teaching, analyzed and reflected on through the ages by the Church, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit promised by Christ - illumines the full and true meaning of the Scriptures.” - The Catholic Church's New Dogma: The Assumption Of Mary By Graham Green, LIFE, Oct.30, 1950, [emphasis in [brackets] supplied].
SDA leaders admit to the fact that the trinity is simply "ASSUMED" from the Bible ... "While NO SINGLE SCRIPTURAL PASSAGE states formally the doctrine of the Trinity, it is ASSUMED as a fact by Bible writers... Only by faith can we accept the existence of the Trinity." - Adventist Review, July, 1981 - Special Issue on Bible Doctrines
*James Strong, Bible Scholar and author of Strong's Concordance *. - "Towards the end of the 1st century, and during the 2nd, many learned men came over both from Judaism and paganism to Christianity. These brought with them into the Christian schools of theology their Platonic ideas and phraseology." - Strong, James, John McClintock. Cyclopaedia of Biblical, Theological, and Ecclesiastical Literature*. New York: Harper, 1891. Vol. 10, "Trinity," p. 553.
"*Jesus Christ never mentioned such a phenomenon, and nowhere in the New Testament does the word Trinity appear. The idea was only adopted by the Church three hundred years after the death of our Lord* ." - Arthur Weigall, The Paganism in our Christianity, G.P. Putnam and Sons, 1928, p. 198
"We can trace it [Pagan Philosophy] in Clement of Alexandria and Origen, and even in Augustine, who confessed that it kindled in him an incredible fire." - Schaff, History of the Christian Church, 2d Period, vol. 2, par. 173
"While no single scriptural passage states formally the doctrine of the Trinity, it is assumed as a fact by Bible writers..." (p. 4) [Adventist Review, Vol 158, No. 31, p.4
“The doctrines of the Logos [i.e., the “Word,” a designation for Christ in John 1] and the Trinity received their shape from Greek Fathers, who . . . were much influenced, directly or indirectly, by the Platonic philosophy . . . That errors and corruptions crept into the Church from this source cannot be denied” - The New Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge, Samuel Macauley Jackson, editor, 1911, Vol. 9, p. 91.
Martin Luther, the German priest who initiated the Protestant Reformation, conceded, “It is indeed true that the name ‘Trinity’ is nowhere to be found in the Holy Scriptures, but has been conceived and invented by man” - reproduced in The Sermons of Martin Luther, John Lenker, editor, Vol. 3, 1988, p. 406.

My conclusion after studying this subject very deeply, is that EGW and the New Testament are not infallible. God never declared that they were, and to treat them as such is worshipping other gods.
Abraham, Noah, and many patriarchs didn't have Holy Scriptures, and it concerns me that so many believers will put the writings of men over personal revelation from God. There are so many contradictions and people will spend their entire lives trying to figure out the true meanings of these writings when God wants something more personal with us

Is the Holy Spirit a “He” or “It”?
Some say the Bible calls the Holy Spirit “He” or “Him” so therefore it must be a third being, but this is incorrect.
Here are the ONLY verses that refer to the Holy Spirit as a “He” or “Him.” Verses are abbreviated.
John 14:16-17 “he shall give you another [allos] COMFORTER [parakletos], that he may abide with you forever; 17 Even the SPIRIT OF TRUTH;”
John 14:26 “But the COMFORTER [parakletos], which is the Holy Ghost,”
John 15:26 “when the COMFORTER [parakletos] is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the SPIRIT OF TRUTH,”
John 16:7 “if I go not away, the COMFORTER [parakletos] will not come unto you;”
John 16:13 “when he, the SPIRIT OF TRUTH, is come, he will guide you into all truth:”
Note that EVERY verse is referring to the COMFORTER [Greek=parakletos] and SPIRIT OF TRUTH.
So who is the COMFORTER and SPIRIT OF TRUTH?
In John 14:6 Jesus says, “I am the truth” and by His Spirit He is the “Spirit of truth.” (John 14:17)
And in John 14:18 Jesus said, “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.”
It is Christ by “HIS” Spirit!

Many get confused because Jesus said he will send “another” Comforter not realizing that the “another” is HIS SPIRIT. The Greek word “allos” for “another” in John 14:16 means another of the exact same kind. Jesus was present with His disciples in physical form, but after His ascension He comes back in another form, that is, by His Spirit. Hence the “another” is His Spirit. Because Christ's Spirit can function independently of Himself, it is like His Spirit is “another.” And because it is His Spirit, it is “another” of the same kind. If it was someone different, John would have used the Greek word “heteros” which means another of a different kind.
1 John 2:1 also reveals that Jesus is our “parakletos” (Comforter). John 14:16, 26; 15:26; 16:7 above and 1 John 2:1 below are the only verses that use this Greek word which means “ADVOCATE and COMFORTER.” So the Greek text also reveals that our COMFORTER and Advocate is JESUS CHRIST the righteous!
“If any man sin, we have an advocate [parakletos] (Comforter) with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:” 1 John 2:1
And here is further proof from Ellen White who of course confirms that the COMFORTER and SPIRIT OF TRUTH is the HOLY SPIRIT OF CHRIST.
“This refers to the omnipresence of the SPIRIT of CHRIST, called the COMFORTER.” - (E.G. White, 14MR 179.2)
“Let them study the seventeenth of John, and learn how to pray and how to live the prayer of CHRIST. HE is THE COMFORTER. He will abide in their hearts, making their joy full.” - (Ellen G. White, Review and Herald, January 27, 1903)
“JESUS comes to you as the SPIRIT of TRUTH; study the mind of the Spirit, consult your Lord, follow His way.” - (E.G. White, 2MR 337.1)
“We cannot be with CHRIST in person, as were His first disciples, but HE has sent HIS Holy Spirit to guide us into all truth, and through this power we too can bear witness for the Saviour. [John 16:13 quoted]” - (E.G. White, Ms30, June 18, 1900)
    Now for the BIG question.
Is Jesus Christ a “He” and a “Him” even if it is by “HIS” Spirit? - Of Course!
Therefore, the Holy Spirit is NOT another being, which is a manmade doctrine from Satan via the Catholic Church in 381 AD long after the Bible was written so Satan could achieve worship. How easily so many have been deceived and indoctrinated with Satan's lie.

The Holy Spirit is God's Transforming Divine Power Part 1 of 2 [Copied]
God’s Spirit, is described as “the power of the Highest” (Luke 1:35). This is the power that made and sustains the universe. And it is the same power we can receive directly from God. Many other scriptures show this connection between the Holy Spirit and God’s power. For example, Paul, we’ve seen as well, reminded Timothy that “God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind” (2 Timothy 1:7).
Rather than describing the Holy Spirit as a distinct person or entity, the Bible most often refers to the HS as and connects the HS with God’s divine power (Zechariah 4:6; Micah 3:8). Jewish scholars, examining the references to it in the Old Testament Scriptures, have never defined the Holy Spirit as anything but the power of God.
Luke 4:14 records that Jesus Christ began His ministry “in the power of the Spirit.” Speaking of the Holy Spirit, which would be given to His followers after His death, Jesus told them, “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you” (Acts 1:8).
Peter relates that “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, [and Jesus] went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him” (Acts 10:38).
The Holy Spirit is here associated with the power by which God the Father was with Jesus-the power through which He performed mighty miracles during His earthly, physical ministry. The Holy Spirit is the very presence of God’s power actively working in His servants (Psalms 51:11; Psalms 139:7).
Paul expresses his desire that fellow Christians would “abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit,” in the same way that Jesus had worked through him “in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God” (Romans 15:13-19).
The divine Spirit of God empowers us to live a in harmony with God’s plan for us None of us can overcome our sins and shortcomings and fully obey God without His divine help. Even if we could by our own will alter our actions, only God can change our hearts.
This is why Paul appealed to members of the church in Rome not to be “conformed to this world, but [to] be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:1-2) through the power of God’s Spirit. That Spirit is the power God uses to transform our lives and renew our minds.
Earlier in this epistle, in chapter 8, Paul helps us understand how the Holy Spirit works in the life of a Christian. In Romans 8:14 he writes that “as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.” Here we see that, to be considered God’s children, we must be led by the Spirit of God.
Paul continues this same thought in Romans 8:9, stating that if you do not have God’s Spirit, also referred to here as Christ’s Spirit, dwelling in you, you are “not His.” This is why it is important that we repent and be baptized; so we can surrender our lives to God and receive the gift of His Spirit to work in and transform our lives.Paul elsewhere writes that you have “Christ in you” if you are a Christian (Colossians 1:27). It is through the power and influence of God’s Spirit that we allow Christ to live in us.
After he had received God’s Spirit, Paul described his new outlook on life: “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20, KJV).
Symbolically buried with Jesus in the watery grave of baptism, Paul now lived a life that was no longer his own. He described his transformed life as one of allowing Christ to live again within him. This is how we please God-by emulating His Son. Paul urged other believers, “Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ” (1 Corinthians 11:1). He tells us, “Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 2:5, NRSV).
However, we cannot succeed at living a converted life of obedience to God and becoming like Jesus Christ strictly through our own efforts. We succeed through God’s power and help rather than through our own efforts. Therefore, the glory and credit go to God.
To imitate Christ we must ask God for help, through His Spirit, so we can humbly obey God and bring our thoughts, attitudes and actions in line with His. We must allow His Spirit to become the guiding force in our lives to produce the qualities of true Christianity. We must regularly ask ourselves whether we are truly being led by God’s Spirit or are resisting it.
What does God’s Holy Spirit do for us as Christians? This question affects the core of our religious beliefs, because without the power of God’s Spirit we can have no deep, close relationship with the Father, nor can we become His children. It is because the Spirit dwells in us that we are called the children of God (Romans 8:14-17).
We must understand what it means to be “led by the Spirit.” God’s Spirit doesn’t force us around; it leads us. It will not prevent us from sinning, nor will it force us to do what is right. It leads us, but we must be willing to follow.
The Holy Spirit keeps us in contact with God’s mind. God’s Spirit works with our mind. The apostle John describes it this way: “Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit [which] He has given us” (1 John 3:24). Through God’s Spirit, which He gives us, we can be influenced by Him for the good and obey God’s commandments. This is in stark contrast to the world around us and our own nature, which influence us toward evil.
God’s Spirit also helps us come to a deeper comprehension of His truth. When Jesus promised the apostles He would send the Spirit to them, He said it would “guide [them] into all truth” (John 16:13).
God’s Spirit inspires a deeper understanding of His Word, purpose and will. As 1 Corinthians 2:9-11 tells us: “But as it is written, ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.’ But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except [by] the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except [by] the Spirit of God.”
Without God’s Spirit a person cannot understand God’s divinely expressed Word and will, “for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned” (1 Corinthians 2:14).
The Holy Spirit makes overcoming possible. Nothing is too difficult for us with the power of God working in our lives. Romans 8:26 tells us that God’s Spirit helps us in our weaknesses. Paul, who wrote the letter to the Romans, speaks for all of us when he said, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
Jesus promises Christians, “With God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26; Mark 10:27). The Christian life is to be one of overcoming. We must realize God doesn’t want us to remain just as we were when He called us. Instead, as we earlier read, we must “not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind” (Romans 12:2). Christianity is a lifetime of overcoming and growing- of transforming our thoughts and mind to become like Jesus Christ (Philippians 2:5) .
The Spirit of God convicts our conscience and helps us see sin as it really is. In speaking of the Holy Spirit, which would be given to His followers after His death and resurrection, Jesus said it would “convict the world of sin” (John 16:8). God’s Spirit within us, working with our conscience, helps us to recognize and avoid sin. The guilt we feel is real when prompted by recognition of sins.

The Holy Spirit is God's Transforming Divine Power Part 2 of 2
The Holy Spirit produces godly fruit in us. Just as an apple tree produces apples, God’s Spirit produces a particular type of fruit in the life of a Christian. Paul lists the fruit that should be evident in those who are led by God’s Spirit as “love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control” (Galatians 5:22-23, NIV).
Each aspect of this fruit is worthy of a detailed study in itself, coupled with a self-analysis to see to what extent these traits are evident in our lives
The apostle Peter sums up the process of growing to spiritual maturity: “[God’s] divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.
“For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love. For if you possess these qualities in increasing measure, they will keep you from being ineffective and unproductive in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
“But if anyone does not have them, he is near sighted and blind, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his past sins. Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 1:3-11, NIV).
The Spirit of God also comforts, encourages and otherwise helps us. Jesus Christ promised to send His followers the Holy Spirit as a “Helper” (John 14:16) or “Comforter” (King James Version). True comfort and reassurance come from God’s Spirit dwelling in us. We need not be unduly worried about what may happen to us. God’s Spirit gives us the assurance that whatever happens will work out for the good “to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose” (Romans 8:28).
This assurance provides an outlook on life that is rare in our world. Yes, a Christian can get discouraged, but it is through the Holy Spirit that we can begin to look at life differently. As noted earlier, peace is another fruit of God’s Spirit in the life of a Christian.
When we clear our minds of the confusion over the Holy Spirit created by the Trinity teaching, we come to see the wonderful truth of how and why God works in our lives to transform us; enabling us to obey Him and grow in His way while in this physical life, that we may experience an awe-inspiring transformation in the future at Christ’s return.
The word “spirit” is translated from the Hebrew ruach and the Greek pneuma, both words also denoting breath or wind, an invisible force. (The English “ghost” at one time had this meaning, which is why it’s used in older Bible translations.) Scripture says that “God is Spirit” (John 4:24). Yet we are also told that God has a Spirit-the Spirit of God or the Holy Spirit.
In the New Testament, Paul referred to the Holy Spirit as the spirit of power, love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Informing Mary that Jesus would be supernaturally conceived in her womb, an angel told her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you,” and the divine messenger described this Spirit to her as “the power of the Highest [which] will overshadow you” (Luke 1:35).
Jesus began His ministry “in the power of the Spirit” (Luke 4:14). He told His followers, “You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you” (Acts 1:8).
Peter relates that “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power” (Acts 10:38). This was the same power that enabled Christ to perform many mighty miracles during His ministry. Likewise, Jesus worked through the apostle Paul “in mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God” (Romans 15:19).
If the Holy Spirit were a person, the apostle Paul certainly disrespected and snubbed “Him” by omitting the Holy Spirit in his typical greetings to the churches. He mentions the Father and the Son (Jesus Christ) in his greetings but consistently omits the Holy Spirit (Romans 1:7; 1 Corinthians 1:3; 2 Corinthians 1:2; Galatians 1:3; Ephesians 1:2; Philippians 1:2; Colossians 1:2; 1 Thessalonians 1:1; 2 Thessalonians 1:1-2; 1 Timothy 1:1-2; 2 Timothy 1:2; Titus 1:4; Philemon 1:3). The apostles Peter and John also greeted the brethren in some of their epistles in the name of God the Father and Jesus Christ, similarly not mentioning the Holy Spirit-quite a disrespectful snub if the Holy Spirit is also a person (2 Peter 1:2; 2 John 1:3).
Here’s another puzzle for someone who believes the Spirit is a person. Jesus prayed to the Father (John 17:1), but His mother Mary was pregnant with Him as a result of the Holy Spirit: “She was found with child of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 1:18). That would make the Holy Spirit the “father” of Jesus, if the Holy Spirit were a person. This potential confusion of understanding is quite easily avoided by realizing that the Bible teaches that the Holy Spirit is not a person but the power by which the Father gave human life to Jesus in the womb of Mary.

The Holy Spirit is not Jesus; Doug Batchlor said the exact same thing. You said even though He’s called the Spirit of Christ the Holy Spirit is not Jesus Wow! that’s evidence that the Holy Spirit who you(Steve) think is not Christ own Spirit does not have a personal name. Paul clearly tells us who the Spirit is; 2 Corinthians 3:17 says: “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty” Who is the Lord? 2 Corinthians 4:5 says “For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord..”

The Comforter was, it was Christ coming to them in spirit form(in them) they just didn’t know How the Christ would go from dwelling with them to being in them as well as being manifested to them and not to the world; Notice: John 14:20 “At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.” John 14:22-23 “Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? [23] Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him” Jesus also illustrated this in the parable of the vine and the branches; John 15:4-5 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. [5] I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” Now what is the fruit they will bring forth abiding in Christ? Is it not Galatians 5:22-23 “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, [23] Meekness, temperance” notice Christ says without me you can’t bear fruit so the Spirit can’t be someone who represents him or else it’s not Christ. Nice try. But your explanations have to be in the realm and understanding in what words mean. *"ANOTHER" ......MEANS A DIFFERENT PERSON OR THING, AND WE KNOW THAT THE HOLY GHOST IS A PERSON. SO......"ANOTHER".....MEANS A SEPARATE PERSON, SOMEONE ELSE BESIDES CHRIST.* Please, *"your explanations can't contradict what words mean,"* as this is an automatic rejection of your presumptuous conjectures. You remind me of a guy that I had a conversation about Christ with. I said that Christ is self existent according to scripture and according to verbatim Ellen White, and he replied, yeah, he was GIVEN......SELF EXISTENCE. I replied this is an oxymoron. Given can't be in connection with self existence, as it is conflicting terms of word definitions. If he was Given this self existence, that means he did not self exist. Self existence means no endowment from anyone else as he within his own merit, or power with in himself he self exists. Then to make it worst, it says eternally self existent. Your argument is basically the same.
I am only interested in you explaining John 14:16. This is Jesus words. I am not interested in your thoughts, conjectures, ideas, presumptions, presuppositions. The Father is in Christ, and Christ is in the Father and we in Christ. This is a unity, that's all. Nothing more. We being in Christ means we our surrendering ourselves in servanthood to him so our charachter is like him. The Father in Christ is one of character and perfection, and Christ in the Father is same, one of character and perfection and unity of purpose. Nothing else this means.
John 14:16 clearly uses the word *"ANOTHER."* Here is what the word means. Do you have an explanation for this? Do you have an explanation for the other 5 verses that show THREE? What about Ellen White?

Unawares, Mr. In the same way, neither is the Creator of everything's Spirit another person.

It is stated from the 24:55 mark to the 25:27 mark of this video:
"Now His [Christ's] nature is of the same substance as that of the Father. He has the same divine nature as His Father. That's why the Bible tells us that He was torn from the bosom of the Father. He's of the same substance...that's why the Bible presents Christ as God also, because He is an equally divine Being...He's of the same nature, just as our ancestors are of the same nature as we are. My daughter is a human being just as I am a human being."
    1. The Bible does not tell us that Christ was "torn from the bosom of the Father". The Bible simply states that Christ is "IN the bosom of the Father" [John 1:18]. It is the SOP that states: "The Eternal Father, the unchangeable one, gave his only begotten Son, TORE from his bosom Him who was made in the express image of his person, and sent him down to earth to reveal how greatly he loved mankind." {RH July 9, 1895, par. 13}
2."GOD is A person..." {1SAT 343.3} = the person of the FATHER only [1 Cor.8:4-6, etc]. GOD is NOT a "divine nature" or a "divine category" that we insert divine Beings into and call them God. THUS Jesus is NOT "God ALSO", meaning that Christ is NOT the Father ALSO, just because He has the "same nature" as God [the Father]. Unless of course you actually believe that Christ is the Father ALSO. Christ is "called" or referred to AS God, or rather as the FATHER, in Scripture because He is ONE [in nature, etc.] with His Father [God] as the "personification of" His Father, the "express IMAGE of His Person" [Heb.1:3]....So that when you see Christ you see the Father [God] IN Him. The Father [God] was IN Him...manifesting Himself through/IN Christ throughout all the ages since the fall of mankind. [Inspired commentary can be supplied for all these statements]. This is why Christ is called or referred to as 'God' in Scripture...NOT because He has the same divine nature as His Father [God]. This idea completely confounds the truth you presented regarding GOD being ONE...meaning ONE...the ONE person of the Father...no more than that.

The word God in the BIble is used in reference to a person (ie the Father) and also in reference to the nature (kind) a being the Father is. Just as the word man for example. Christ is a different person (Son of God) from His Father, but He is God for He is His Father's Son. The Bible is clear and time and time again reiterates that. An express image of God is God. An express image of man is man. Christ is God because He was begotten of God. We have one God (person, the Father) as head above all and the source of all. Christ Himself submits to the Father and recognizes Him as His God, not because He isn't divine (God), but because He voluntarily submits.
Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. Psalm 45:7
Denying Christ's divinity, that He is God, is sadly a denial of eternal life. In this series this question is covered in greater detail. May it be a blessing.

@@S.D.P You state: "The word God in the BIble is used in reference to a person (ie the Father) and also in reference to the nature (kind) a being the Father is. Just as the word man for example. Christ is a different person (Son of God) from His Father, but He is God for He is His Father's Son." These notions are ominously close to how trinitarians view God. Where do you find support for these assertions like: "Christ is a different person from the Father (Who IS God), but He IS God (Who IS the person of the Father) for He [God] is His Father's (God's) Son." This is a paraphrase of how I understand you.
The following is in tandem with my OP. It is easy to just state what you believe, but same is meaningless unless you actually prove your assertions. This idea that Christ is God confounds the personality of the Father...Who is the ONE God of the Bible [1 Cor.8:4-6, etc].
Christ, as the Father's only begotten SON [John 3:16, etc], is DIVINE like His Father [God] for His divine nature was inborn; Having His Father's divine nature does not mean that He is God [the Father] Who He received that divine nature from.
      "The Lord Jesus Christ, the DIVINE Son of God, existed from eternity, a distinct PERSON [from God], YET ONE WITH THE FATHER [GOD]" {5BC 1126.5}
"Jesus was the majesty of heaven, the beloved commander of the angels, who delighted to do His pleasure. He was ONE WITH GOD, “in the bosom of the Father” (John 1:18), yet He thought it not a thing to be desired to be equal with God while man was lost in sin and misery."
Christ is ONE with God but He is not the God that He is ONE with. Christ was "made equal" with God {ST February 5, 1894, par. 10}; but that does not mean that He is the God that He was MADE equal with. God CANNOT be "Made" equal with anyone.
I believe and submit that this idea that Christ is God...meaning that Christ is the Father (according to Scripture)...completely sabotages the fact that there is but One God, the Father. Indeed this idea is just a variant of how "trinitarians" see things. They also believe that for Christ to be "Divine" He must be God. You will find no support for this notion in the Scriptures or the SOP, when carefully studied out letting Inspiration explain Inspiration...verses like John 1:1, Heb.1:8, Isaiah 9:6 notwithstanding.
Every instance of "God" in Scripture references the Father [God] in some way.

Let me get one thing straight he says that we did not believe in the one being at three persons that is Catholic so the pioneers that’s what they rejected. Then he goes and talks about the Godhead and that Sister White cleared it up by expressing the third person of the Godhead. If that’s clearing it up it means were Catholic.

*"ELLEN G. WHITE CLAIMED THREE BEINGS. SHE CLAIMED THREE PERSONS, SHE CLAIMED THREE PERSONALITIES."* Once I prove this to you, you will see that you and this movement are in direct opposition to what Ellen White actually said. ARE YOU READY?
      Ellen white claimed;
      *"1."* Three persons.
      *"2."* Three personalities.
      *"3."* Three beings.
*"PROOF DIRECTLY OPPOSED TO YOU AND THIS MOVEMENT"*
*"1."* *"THREE PERSONS BY ELLEN G. WHITE."*
      The Comforter that Christ promised to send after He ascended to heaven, is the Spirit in all the fullness of the Godhead, making manifest the power of divine grace to all who receive and believe in Christ as a personal Saviour. There are *"THREE LIVING PERSONS"* of the *"HEAVENLY TRIO;"* in the *"name of these three great powers"* --the *"FATHER,"* the *"SON,"* and the *"HOLY SPIRIT"* --those who receive Christ by living faith are baptized, and these powers will co-operate with the obedient subjects of heaven in their efforts to live the new life in Christ.--Special Testimonies, Series B, No. 7, pp. 62, 63. (1905){Ev 615.1}
*"2."* *"THREE PERSONALITIES BY ELLEN G. WHITE."*
      "When you baptize them, and you see that they are in error in any respect, do you, any one of you that feel that you have a message from God, go to them kindly, and tell them, between them and you alone, where their trouble is, and where their difficulties will come in unless they change the course of their action? This is the work that is to rest upon us. And then what? Why, it says, “Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” [Verse 19.] *"THREE PERSONALITIES;"* and *"THESE THREE PERSONALITIES"* are the pledged power from God that His people shall have, if they have been baptized in the name of the *"FATHER,"* and of the *"SON,"* and of the *"HOLY GHOST."* Now there is no excuse for souls to be left in ignorance and weakness if they will be gospel believers, if they will carry out these principles, and know that the "three great Worthies," the Powers in heaven, are pledged to the church of God that will work in harmony with Christ’s teachings." {Ms139-1906.15}
*"3."* *"THREE BEINGS, THREE HOLIEST BEINGS BY ELLEN G. WHITE."*
      "Here is where the work of the Holy Ghost comes in, after your baptism. You are baptized in the name of the *"FATHER,"* of the *"SON,"* and of the *"HOLY GHOST."* You are raised up out of the water to live henceforth in newness of life-to live a new life. You are born unto God, and you stand under the sanction and the power of the....... *"THREE...... HOLIEST BEINGS IN HEAVEN,"* who are able to keep you from falling. You are to reveal that you are dead to sin; your life is hid with Christ in God. Hidden “with Christ in God”-wonderful transformation. [Colossians 3:3.] This is a most precious promise. When I feel oppressed and hardly know how to relate myself toward the work that God has given me to do, I just call upon the........ *"THREE.........GREAT WORTHIES,"* and say: You know I cannot do this work in my own strength. You must work in me, and by me, and through me, sanctifying my tongue, sanctifying my spirit, sanctifying my words, and bringing me into a position where my spirit shall be susceptible to the movings of the Holy Spirit of God upon my mind and character." {Ms95-1906.29}
Conclusion; There you have it, the Holy Spirit is a *"BEING, A PERSON, AND A PERSONALITY."* *"THREE BEINGS, THREE PERSONS, AND THREE PERSONALITIES, FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT!"*
      -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*"THE SON IS ETERNAL AS THE SON, NO BIRTH, NO BEGINNING IN ETERNITY PAST."*
Now getting to the Son. This movement claims in eternity past Jesus had a beginning and a birth. Ellen White claims the opposite. She claims as a Son he was self existent and as a Son existed eternally, therefore never born and never had a beginning. More importantly the scriptures declare Jesus as God Almighty. God Almighty can never be born! And Jesus is Jehovah. The name Jehovah-Yahweh by definition means no birth no beginning; It means the self existent eternal God, *"THE I AM THAT I AM!"* Jesus attributes that he has have to be in line with the definition of the name Jehovah/Yahweh for him to be this name.
*"1."* 1890: *"CHRIST IS SELF-EXISTENT;"* ..... *"His DEITY is....... "NOT DERIVED".........from the FATHER"* (Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 36).
*"2.''* *"HE WAS ...EQUAL....WITH GOD"* (Equal with the Father) ........... *"INFINITE"* (Infinite is self explanatory, he is timeless!) and *"OMNIPOTENT"* (Jesus is all powerful, the Almighty) . . . . *"HE IS THE ETERNAL, SELF EXISTENT SON."* (There goes that word eternal for the Son!) -Manuscript 101, 1897.
*"3."* *"CHRIST and the FATHER are still of ..... ONE SUBSTANCE,......POSSESSING THE SAME ATTRIBUTES.”* (Signs of the Times, Nov. 27, 1893).
*"4."* The Lord Jesus Christ, the divine Son of God, *"EXISTED FROM ETERNITY,"* ......... *"A DISTINCT PERSON, YET ONE WITH THE FATHER"* (Review and Herald, April 5, 1906).
*"5."* In speaking of His pre-existence, Christ carries the mind back through dateless ages. He assures us that *"THERE NEVER WAS A TIME WHEN HE WAS NOT IN CLOSE FELLOWSHIP WITH THE ETERNAL GOD. (NEVER BORN)"* He to whose voice the Jews were then listening had been with God as one brought up with Him (Signs of the Times, Aug. 29, 1900).
Conclusion; The main tenets of you and this organisation are in direct conflict with who Jesus is and the three persons of the Godhead, specifically the Holy Spirit! Three beings (also three persons, and three personsalities) have been proved against your false belief in two beings. And Jesus always as a Son existed eternally as a Son!

@@jamestomas3783 The Bible never said any of those things! Ellen White said three worthies, three dignitaries, she never said three persons and most of all three Beings.
She did call the Holy Spirit the third person of the Godhead! It was later after she had written it that they put third person in capitals. She did not do that. When did she speak the second person of the Godhead? Or first person of the Godhead. She never use that language. Grammatically speaking a third person is that of the same as the person who is speaking. In other words when Jesus says the Son of Man will come with his angels, son of man refers to himself grammatically that is considered a third person. Jesus as the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead according to the Bible. The Bible never uses the word third person of the Godhead. So therefore even that with grammatical understanding isn’t proper to use such language. I’m sure sister White had a reason to say such a thing and that’s has history has shown this confused Dr. Kellogg into pantheism is well documented.
      ,continues:
“As far as I can fathom, the difficulty which is found in The Living Temple, the whole thing may be simmered down to the question: Is the Holy Ghost a person?” Letter of J. H.
“You say no. I had supposed the Bible said this for the reason that the personal pronoun ‘he’ is used in speaking of the Holy Ghost. Sister White uses the pronoun ‘he’ and has said in so many words that the Holy Ghost is the third person of the Godhead. How the Holy Ghost can be the third person and not be a person at all is difficult for me to see.” Letter, Kellogg to Butler, 10-28-1903.
“I am compelled to speak in denial of the claim that the teachings of Living Temple can be sustained by statements from my writings.” 1Selected Messages, 203.
“There may be in this book expressions and senti- ments that are in harmony with my writings. And there may be in my writings many statements which, taken from their connection, and interpreted according to the mind of the writer of Living Temple, would seem to be in harmony with the teachings of this book. This may give apparent support to the assertion that the sentiments in Living Temple are in harmony with my writings. But God forbid that this sentiment should prevail.” 1 Selected Messages, 203

You just don’t read your history the seventh day Adventist church correctly. Because they have even admitted that you cannot really get a trinity from the Bible..

Matthew 10:20 ...'For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.'
"Those who were bowed before the throne would offer up their prayers and look to Jesus; then He would look to His Father, and appear to be pleading with Him. A light would come FROM THE FATHER TO THE SON AND FROM THE SON TO THE PRAYING COMPANY. Then I saw an exceeding bright light come FROM THE FATHER TO THE SON, AND FROM THE SON IT WAVED OVER THE PEOPLE BEFORE THE THRONE ... Those who rose up with Jesus would send up their faith to Him in the holiest, and pray, 'My Father, GIVE US THY SPIRIT.' Then Jesus would BREATHE UPON THEM THE HOLY GHOST. In that breath was light, power, and much love, joy, and peace." (Early Writings, p.54-55)
Acts 1:1-2 ...'The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began both to do and teach, until the day in which he was taken up, after that HE through the Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen.'
Acts 2:32-33 ...'This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.'
Titus 3:4-6 ...'But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour.'
Galatians 4:6 ...'And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.'
2 Corinthians 3:17 ...'Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.'
Philippians 1:19 ...'For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit of Jesus Christ.'
This is the same Spirit which guided the prophets in the Old Testament ... 1 Peter 1:10-11 ...'Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.'
The Holy Spirit is the LIFE and POWER of Jesus Christ Himself, which He has received from God the Father.

Jesus explaining Deuteronomy 6:4 in Mark 12:29 - 34, reveals clearly that God is a singular being & not a trinity of beings. Notice how the SINGULAR word "HIM & HE" (G846, Autos) is used interchangeably when referring to the SCRIBE, JESUS & GOD:
Mark 12: Verse 29: "And Jesus answered "HIM (SCRIBE)" [G848, Autos] --------- The Scribe is ONE SINGLE BEING.
Verse 32: "And the scribe said unto "HIM (JESUS)" [G846, Autos] -------- Jesus is ONE SINGLE BEING.
Verse 32: "...and there is none other but "HE (GOD)" [G846, Autos] ------- God is ONE SINGLE BEING.
Verse 33: "And to love "HIM (GOD)" [G846, Autos] ---------------------------- God is ONE SINGLE BEING.
Verse 34: "And when Jesus saw that "HE (SCRIBE)" [G846, Autos] -------- The Scribe is ONE SINGLE BEING.
Verse 34: "And no man after that durst ask "HIM (JESUS)" [G846, Autos] ---- Jesus is ONE SINGLE BEING.
In this conversation, the word "HIM & HE" [G846, Autos] refers to ONLY ONE SINGULAR BEING when consistently applied to the Scribe, Jesus & God. Christ & the Scribe in Mark 12:29 - 34 are NOT speaking in parables, symbols or using metaphors. They are speaking & using plain understandable words that even a child can understand it. Clearly Deuteronomy 6:4 & Mark 12:29 - 34 both reveal that GOD IS ONE & HE IS THE FATHER OF CHRIST and not a trinity.

What I do know is that our Father God does not lie. His Son Christ Jesus does not lie. God Jehovah whom many do no know is the Most High God Creator of the Universe.( Psalm 83::18) many bibles have removed His Name from verses to confuse people and that is the only reason there are confused Trinitarians. They do not know the True God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob so they cannot see the Truth. They see Jesus as being His own Father. Jesus continuously talks to us in the New Testament about the One who sent Him.
Is He talking about Himself? Is He pretending Someone sent Him but that Someone is Himself? Is the Father the Son too pretending He has a Son He sacrificed to free as atonement for our sins? This belief of the Trinity originated from the ancients pagans in Egypt, Greece, Babylon etc and influenced the belief of trinitarian gods.
God the Father is One and there is no other, Jesus is His Son, Only Begotten Son.
That is what the bible teaches and we should not allow Satan to take the Glory away from the One True and Only GOD.

Jesus is called God, because He is the Son of God. He is the same kind of being as his Father. At the same time the Bible also says that the head of Christ is God and thus leaves God the Father and the head above all. God is called the king of the universe and Christ is called the Prince. Both are royalty, yet only one is king. In like manner, both are divine, yet one is the head over all (ie king).

Just purely from a knowledge of proper sentence structure without even getting into scriptural proof the statement about the life in Christ being unborrowed and underived and original: The SUBJECT of this sentence is the "life". In other words the statement is looking at the "life". In other words , what about this "life"? What is it about this "life"? Or why not just say there was "life" in Christ? There is life in all living men and creatures so what 's the big deal? The big deal is that others have mortal life unless they are born again. So with this in mind we go back to the sentence structure: the 3 words: unborrowed, original, and underived are ADJECTIVES that describe what type of "life" is in Christ PERIOD!!! As far as HOW this "life" was in Christ the statement says NOTHING at all. For example if I had a necklace in my pocket made of gold with silver links. It would be correct to say: The necklace that was in John's pocket was made of gold and silver. The two words "gold" and "silver" are ADJECTIVES that describe the necklace. So the "life" that was in Christ was unborrowed, underived, original. So this kind of life that is not derived must be life that has always been, in other words eternal, immortal and if underived must be immortal, eternal, and to be original means nobody else came up with this life. Therefore NOW we turn to scripture to see WHO had this immortal , original , underived ( can't get it from anyone or anywhere) - we read God who only has immortal life. So now we find WHO we have to go to to get this type of life= GOD, the SOURCE of all out of whom are all things ( 1Cor 8:6 ) and who ONLY has immortal life. Then we see that the Father of Jesus GAVE this life to His Son ( John 5:26 ). As a matter of fact Jesus INHERITED ALL THINGS from His Father. So you can say of your deceased son : the life that was in my son was mortal and derived

The tritheist, who limits the oneness between Christ and the Father to that between Christ and His disciples, is now obliged to explain in what sense it might be true that Christ and His disciples are "of one substance, possessing the same attributes."8 Is there any evidence in the Bible or the writings of Ellen G. White to suggest that the believer is in possession now, or will be at some time in the future, of the "substance" of God? The present writer has discovered none.
On the other hand the Adventist Arian is faced with the difficulty that the supreme God includes Christ. The statement says that the Jews understood His meaning. And they understood Him on other occasions when He claimed complete union with the Father. For instance Jesus claimed to be the "I am."
With solemn dignity Jesus answered, "Verily, verily I say unto you, before Abraham was I AM."
Silence fell upon the vast assembly. The name of God, given to Moses to express the idea of the eternal presence, had been claimed as His own by this Galilean rabbi. He had announced Himself to be the self-existent One, He who had been promised to Israel, "whose goings forth have been from of old, from the days of eternity."9
Then Christ as the "I am" was the "self-existent One." But is not the Father the self-existent One? Of course. Then is not the Arian right in responding that such a doctrine postulates the existence of two Gods?10 Ellen G. White answers this question by stating quite unequivocally that the "I AM" is One. Commenting on Ezekiel 1:4, 26; 10:8 she says:
Heavenly beings, sustained and guided by the hand beneath the wings of the cherubim, were impelling the wheels; above them, upon the sapphire throne was the Eternal One; and round about the throne a rainbow, the emblem of divine mercy.
The history which the great I AM has marked out in His word, uniting link after link in the prophetic chain, from eternity in the past to eternity in the future, tells us where we are to-day in the procession of the ages, and what may be expected in time to come.11
This extract was taken from www.sdanet.org/atissue/books/qod/index.htm. I'd like you to make sone comments on this topic and the new teachings in the book questions on doctrines book. Woodrow W. Whidden, for many years professor in the Religion Department at Andrews University (1990-2006) is now professor of systematic and historical theology at the Adventist International Institute for Advanced Studies, in the Philippines, so it is no surprise that his Conference paper would be entitled, "Questions on Doctrine: What Should Be the Enduring Theological Legacy?". In this paper, available now for reading on our site, Woody surveys the history of the theological controversies... what he calls "two identifiable theological traditions" which have "developed two, essentially distinctive versions of Soteriology, Christology and Eschatology in the SDA Church", analyses their content, and suggests possible resolutions to some of the differences. We also have his two books which examined Ellen White's views in these areas, available here for reading on-line.... Ellen White on Salvation (Review and Herald, 1995) and Ellen White on the Humanity of Christ (Review and Herald, 1997).

    Who is the Godhead?
    Paul Preaches at Athens:
    Acts 17:24
    King James Version
24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands.
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
    God's Anger at Sinful Humanity:
    Romans 1:20
    King James Version
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
    Fullness in Life:
    Colossians 2:8-10
    King James Version
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
Note: The Godhead is our Lord Jesus Christ alone.

I appreciate that you gentlemen are trying to clarify the matter of "The Heavenly Trio" (I do not like the term "Trinity"). But I am afraid I am going to disappoint you stating that I do not agree with you. I am neither a pastor nor a theologian, but I am still puzzled over the fact that so many Christians see the Person of Jesus so differently and false, confusing His eternal Godship with the prophecies that were given concerning His incarnation... He said so many times that ultimately "He came from The Father" ! We should note and see that Jesus is the Eternal "I AM, THAT I AM", - from Genesis to His own trial - a full member of the ELOHIM (Divinity, plural) and that He was "begotten" of the Father ONLY at His RESURRECTION - (Rev. 1:5; -not even when born as a Baby in Bethlehem) !
Every authentic follower of Jesus is also "begotten" of the Father ! But The Savior is present in the entire content of the Bible, beginning with the first page as Deity, along with "The Spirit of Holiness" (I love how the Aramaic puts it; or, of Divinity) ? It should also not be so difficult to see that at His incarnation the "WORD" or Son of God "laid aside" ALL the prerogatives of HIS Eternal Divinity and lived a short life only as a "Son of Man", but TOTALLY dependent on The Father, The Holy Spirit and assisted by His angels, thus being able to present HIMSELF to the entire Universe as a perfect sacrifice in order to redeem "the one lost sheep" .
We need to take into the account the fact that "The Son" BECAME 'THE SON' ONLY at His entrance into the world, and that that was THE ONLY way that He could step down, come and be born into the human family, work for a short while, suffer, and then even suffer death, as the exemplary, authentic and Eternally valid Sacrifice, be resurrected by the Father and thus fulfilling the mission according to what was done so minimally at the earthly Sanctuary and eventually FULLY at the Heavenly Temple. If He was prophesied in The Old Testament as the 'future' Son, it might not mean at all that He was yet "The Son". How true it is , and I do believe that, while we do not understand - probably never will - fully everything about Divinity, - we are venturing into areas that might be part of those things that are NOT 'ours, nor our children's to understand.
We have "hurried" ever so clumsily to give the Father a name - Zeus, Deus, Dios, Theos, Huday, Xudo, Boje, Dia, Gott, God, Gud, even 'Puchecammae' (Peruvian; imagine: "In the beginning 'Puchecammae' created the heavens and the earth") etc., - in other words - we DO NOT EVEN KNOW exactly what The Father's name is, (Who is ALSO 'Spirit' - Jesus' own words in John 4:24) other than what was revealed to the Bible writers, and even those are His attributes - not names -- 'but now some propose that they know how YHVH was 'begotten'...
I am flabbergasted seeing how capable persons - even pastors - who instead of using their full energies in presenting to the world a clear picture and the loving involvement of Divinity (ELOHIM) in humanity's salvation, are instead buying almost totally into the pagan falsehoods perpetrated ever since Origen, adopting much of Greek mythology, but ever diminishing 'The "Word" 's divinity, and other falsehoods that permeated the Alexandrian stream of the Bible and occasionally even our "Received Text".

This is also what the Living Church of God believes in. They’re an offshoot of early Adventism. They strongly believe in Armstrongism, the beliefs and practices of Herbert W. Armstrong.
