Story 1: Don’t fall for it, just host a video conference with all including your grandfather, and let them know that now that you know their reasons you have the closure that you needed to begin healing, thank them and let them know that at this point in my life all I want is peace, I have reached that now with the last piece of information, and now I can finally say Thank you and good bye, you will not hear anything from me, nor I want to hear anything from you, it was never the material thing but the recognition and I do not need it anymore, just forget I exist as I am about to do it with you all for my peace of mind and soul, go enjoy your life with your decisions.
Story 1: OP is entirely Too Desperate. Now, with her name on those papers, she's responsible. If she really wants to take the business, 1st: Hire a forensic accountant to completely go over everything. This way she'll know if the business is clean. There's a saying here in the states: If something sounds or looks to good to be true, it's not. This whole situation is just too good to be true. What is so bad about it is that the entire family is in on it. Even OP's favorite,most loved grandparent.
I think there is two grandfather in this story. The grandfather that "disowned" op, (I assume is op's father side), and gong gong (op's mother side). So I think the business that op got isn't the same one that Emma got. Just my 2 cent.
