I love Free People, but y'all are killin' me. In this economy, especially for young women, you can't just drop $68 on a plain white t-shirt. Most artsy/bohemian/free-spirited types do not have the budget for this. And it makes us feel like shit.

Preach it girl. Lowering the prices for basics to like 20-30 dollars is more reasonable and more of us would buy them!

If you're patient, you can find pretty much anything from FP on Ebay and Poshmark for a fraction of the cost. Some of it is preowned but much of it is new with tags. I have a closet full of FP and the majority of it was bought on Ebay. You'd be surprised at the bargains you'll find. :-) Then, you won't feel like s***...you'll look great and still be within budget.

Every FP garment in my closet represents a huge hassle, and that's my problem: it shouldn't take this much effort to look effortless. I love their clothes, but it will never stop bothering me that FP caters to well-off people who want to LOOK like vagrants.
