  • Core training variety increases motivation: Four versions of the fishtail wag exercise. For abdominal and low back strength-endurance. Requires - and trains - ability to stabilize spine.     Exercise details:
    Supine and/or prone.
    Arms stabilize the body.
    Legs, straight and together.
    Move the legs side to side (wag). And/or:
    Move the legs up down (flutter-like).
    Keep breathing.
    Variation:
    Tempo
    Equipment:
    None, bodyweight exercise.
    Specific workout tip:
    Perform with good form. Keep breathing.
    Hard on your back? It shouldn't be. Increase abdominal strength and/or contract the abs more. And:
    Bend the legs a little.
    Or: Choose another exercise.
    General fitness tips:
    Always exercise at your own level at your form of the day.
    Focus and maintain proper form, feel stable and in control.
    Make all exercises and every workout your own.
