I think you will have a harder time finding even 15 times destiny player hated warlocks. But for starters I know human ribs would actually keep you alive longer in a gunfight, and outpaced weapon damage.
I love how we always hate on other classes but in grandmasters you always ask for an Omni hunter, well lock, and storm titan we love to hate each other but always help eachother out. Kind of like 3 brothers that fight all the time but would always fight for each other too
Nah truly the only place where this class hatred really crops up is the crucible which is why that stuff needed to be balanced separately from the rest of the game like idk when D2 launched... In PVE it brings me nothing but joy to see that the blueberries I'm in a strike with that moment are the other 2 classes and we just rounded out naturally cause honestly when I'm running with another warlock it's like.. "oh now I don't stand out as much" especially when I pop a rift to the rescue lol Also it feels like when it comes to Exotics that break PVP the pecking order is Titans>Hunter>Warlock.... Almost every season and at least twice a year this proves to be true like clockwork. Lorely Splendor, One-Eyed Mask, Ursa Furiosa, Citan's Rampart, Peregrin's Greaves, And I think the Icefall mantle for a little bit Are Titan's claims to Infamy. Hunters have Wormhusk crown, Shinobu's vow, Gyrefalcon's hauberk, Omnioculus, Gwisin vest for a little bit, Stomp-ezz, I think there's like 2-3 more lesser abused ones... And then we have warlock... we have let's see for stuff the broke pvp or is abused there... Ophidian aspect, Geomag stabilzers (pre-nerf), Sanguine alchemy (pre-nerf), and maybe like 2 others that buff super performance idk stormcrown or something... Titan's and hunters get more crucible hate cause a lot more of their exotics perform well there is all I'm saying.
Stasis warlock is also very good in GMs and I don't think I've ever seen a storm titan in GMs, only bubble/shield. As for hunters, the very few times we had a hunter they always ran Aeon's 🤷
I swear, Bungie either makes Titans the most over powered bullshit imaginable or complete shit. “Here is this insanely OP exotic that works with all subclasses go nuts, but do it now before we make it do fuck all in about 2-3 months.”
Yep don't get me wrong I love HoiL ability spam but there's no way it's safe from a nerf. There's no way Bungie looks at it being the defacto exotic across almost all subclasses and says "yeah that's fine as is" Been taking it off and trying off meta builds bc ik the things gonna get hit at some point.
@@draysmusicalshtposts6340 most definitely is. I set my wife’s warlock up and run lost sectors for her and was kind of blown away how many of their exotics are super viable IMO. Kinda makes me wish Titan and Hunter had a few more options so wasn’t just HOIL, Synthos, Lorely and Omni, Gyrfalcs, Cowl.
I remember starting vanilla D2 and immediately being saddened that Shoulder Charge consumed your melee. And then I got Skullfort and my sadness went away
Man, you know you’re a Titan main when every thing on this list makes you nostalgic… Titan skating, Garrison, and back when Sunbreaker first dropped?! Damn, those were good times. In a match when you’d hear the hammer and anvil sound of a Sunbro popping their super, everyone would flee like rats… it was terrifying!!
What's funny for me is I never hated titans, But then again, I was a warlock main in Destiny 1 and most of the bs I encountered came from hunters. In D2, that trend has continued even as a now dedicated Titan Main.
Man, I miss that OG shoulder charge. Mk. 44s were always on. Now I usually roll Sentinel because Striker isn't as smooth anymore, from all the cutbacks.
I am a Destiny 2 titan main. Joined during the closing end of the Red War campaign/season. I can understand the hate on movement tech and grenades, especially since mobility was the hunter's thing and grenades were warlocks(or their wells). What I don't understand is the hate on the melee ability. I was always under the impression that the titan's entire thing was that they were powerful in close quarters and should be avoided like how players avoided warlocks with snipers and wells.
One thing i notice is that a lot of titan hate comes from crucible. meanwhile, in pve, ive often felt like titans lag behind the other classes, lacking anything as reliable as tether or well. It almost feels like bungie wants titan to be the pvp class, and, as a titan main, i wish theyd stop.
Hunters have their edgelord phases (which some never get out of and end up with their heads stuck between their unthicc cheeks, you heard me) Titans have their crayons and brainpower in "how to ez" And Warlocks have their kabooms and magics Everyone hates each other, it inspires class wars and classism, especially whenever Guardian Games comes around, yet we can't do much without each other because of our abilities. Its like advanced tough love between three adopted brothers.
Not really. I feel like it's pretty rare to find someone who hates warlocks. I'm a hunter I definitely hate titans but never cared too much about warlocks in pvp.
Another thing about the shoulder charge in D1, they had the OG stand asides, which made them able to tank about anything short of supers and sniper headshots with the overshield. Naturally no cooldown on that either, just sprintnfor like 3s and off you go, the duration of shoulder chrage and its juggernaut overshield was a small eternity. Edit: in D1, shoulder charge was not active forever. If you sprinted for too long, you lost it and had to stop and start sprinting again
One thing people never seemed to remember or realized in d1 is that you had to time the shoulder charge because you couldn’t hold it indefinitely like in d2
The problem is, This community doesn't actually want Fair and Balanced. They want "My Class to be superior." Everyone really needs to see when something is OP, It's OP. Literally any time they throw up a shield right in front of a boss. When you're capturing a zone and they throw their Captain America shield at you.... That's about it... Or when they toss up a bubble shield right as you fire a rocket at the entire enemy team on a zone in Iron Banner.
Yeah citan’s are kinda annoying but have yall heard of breaking the barricade or running away Reminder that häkke breached armament + anti barrier deal more damage to barricades, and citans have less health in general.
You realize it takes longer to kill a barricade than it does to kill a guardian, right? And I hope you realise by the time one barricade runs out you have another. On top of that, even if you somehow kill the barricade you definetly shouldn't be winning the gunfight too
love this getting recommended during the huge empathy strike on titans. I never played d1 so I wont talk much history about it, but in d2, titans have had so many great things that make them the star of the team in certain situations. PvE or PvP. Consider just the last couple years before TFS, smg meta with peacekeepers, triple bubble stacking in trials, good anateus players. Solar bonk in PvE, pre-nerf banner bug for Crota day 1. The current issue being that all the great stuff was patched to be "on level" with other classes although slightly weaker, with TFS introducing all the strong and fun stuff for Hunters & Warlocks, and then the lack of Titan mains at Bungie showed the lack of high-end testing for their stuff. Consequentially Hunters and Warlocks got some really powerful combinations like Feed the Void Helion, or Stylish Executioner Winter Shroud. Titan naturally has really strong aspects, so picking certain ones either wouldn't work logically together, or would just make Titan the penultimate class until a nerf. I.E Roaring Flames Into the Fray or god forbid Banner of War. In suit to avoid an immediate nerf to Titans, they made Titans too weak, and now have a new problem that people are complaining about something being underpowered Enjoy the context for people who didn't previously understand the current issue with Titans
Now shoulder charge is so nerfed that after I use it on an enemy, they one-shot me with their shotgun as they're being pushed away from me. Very balanced, Bungo, thanks
For real. Every time something blatantly broken on titan gets nerfed, all you see is "tHe gUaRdiAn AnNiHiLaToR 3000 iS aLl We HaVe" while they sit on their pile of wildly powerful exotics and abilities lmao. And this is coming from someone who at this point almost exclusively plays titan in PvP because it's just so much stronger than the other two classes now.
As a Titan main, I thought it might be interesting to switch to Hunter so I could complete all my Iron Banner quests before reset, and only then did I truly understand how much of a nightmare we really are in PVP. Attack a Titan head on? Nine times out of ten you'll end up shoved halfway through a wall or flung clean off the map. Try to run away? You'll be chased down and trampled. Attack from a distance? Good luck getting through their barricade first. And once you hear a Super go off, you better pray someone has a DMT with Vorpal on hand to deal with the bloodthirsty Unstoppable Champion rocketing towards you at Mach 2. Don't get me wrong, I don't feel bad in the slightest. It just made me appreciate Titan even more than I already did.
The point is that Titans often have good stuff, but instead of Bungie balancing it out, for them it's more nerfing to the ground. Meanwhile they "balance" distributing even more broken skills to the other two classes. There's the pvp horrible vicious cycle in this game.
@@doglorde That's a Bungie "trait" it's either OP as F or nerfed to the ground. And this applies to the other 2 classes and pretty much everything in the game, weapons included.
I'm still sad about Twilight Garrison not being available anymore for Titans but honestly what was that Bungie guy thinking when he literally went "whoops sorry mates, that ain't for Titans anymore, not their identity", sure the backlash is unreasonable but that kind of comment is still pretty much baseless
@Darth Vader Handheld Supernova with Controverse Hold, OG Bottom tree Dawnblade super duration, Chaos reach in Trials (prior to the 30A changes), Penumbral Blast in the first two weeks of Stasis, Lightning Surge on Stormcaller (still not nerfed)...I'm a warlock main through and through, but we have had some BUSTED shit over the years, and that's just D2.
I'm a titan main. I agree with most of the list...citans and the "barricade meta" I don't. These have been around for awhile and nobody complained. The citans shield was always weak and would easily pop to primary. Titans trade a TON of mobility (that hunters and solar warlocks have) for shields.
I remba a time when it was complained abou, also no, they were often considered op at one point, now tho there worse enough there considered largely not worth it eben tho it's kina jus a trade off
Should be 20 times, you forgot the part where S19 IB was a thing, and titans had access to that Void bubbel super of theirs.... which EVERY... SINGLE... TITAN ran during 2 full weeks of IB
I’ve been a proud Titan ever since the start of Destiny 1 And one thing has been consistent throughout every different build I’ve tried I’m way too stupid to acknowledge the hate
True that Titan Bro (:D)...we the rock that others must step on and hold the community up to its crazee/stupid fun standards...it's like a Zavala No Hate Zone (:D)
4 months later and titans have been hated for 4 more things (peacekeepers immortal, Antaeus again, behemoth targeted redaction 2 taps, and khepris horn glitch yesterday)
*The Devs have openly admitted most of them are Titan Mains. Why would they ever play a class they didn't think "felt good"? lol They wouldn't! So... from that day. I switched up away from hunter and never looked back. My K/D has soared since then!*
Strange bc I remember most of the devs saying they were hunter mains, then warlock mains, but never titan mains. Don't suppose you have a source for that?
Hunters got an OP invisibility exotic. To nerf them, the devs gave them volatile rounds on demand. When loreleys was OP the devs just flat out nerfed it.
Instant shoulder charge glitch in D1 was pretty fun to use. I received a lot of hate for using that and for being the one that initially put the video out showing how to do it 😅. When you got the timing right you could really catch people off guard. I kinda feel bad about it now lol. Oh well good times.
1 time the destiny community hated warlocks ( 1 because we never stopped hating them) they have been so favored in the meta for years now it makes me sick how overloaded they are and how they have lost their identity from destiny 1 now a days they are basically mismatch of destiny 1 titan and some random stuff
I like how for shoulder charge in D1 they say it "took no skill to use" while there were sniper shotguns. and CURRENTLY in D2, Hunters can completely miss their throwing knife and still manage to make the ricochet bound 20 times and STILL target the head for an instant kill AND THEN get the knife back instantly. In D1 Titans might have been a bit strong. But in D2 more than half of titan exotics are either nerfed or just meh. with only like 3 exceptions. How long did it take for ONE EYED MASK to get nerfed compared to Gryfalcons.
You seem to have forgotten the newest titan bs in pvp which is popping shield every 16 seconds with full resilience. Plus citan's ramparts of course, fun Trials of the Osiris....
Actually I like to see citan titans against myself. They become quite surprised getting an ashen wake fusion grenades under the feet or when their barricade crumbles with some anti-barrier weapons. So I have no problems with barricades. All that you need is simply shoot them. Same deal to void ones. They are not so strong as they are talked.
You forgot when Titans lost their collective shit about not getting Twilight Garrison back and then Bungie caved and gave them a dash anyway with Arc 3.0.

Don’t forget Empyrean Bellicose, the other Titan exotic that got turned into a passive warlock ability.
I don't know about the community but those are 19 reasons why I love my titan, and that part at 9:59 was just great memories.
Titans be wildin every season, but heaven forbid I jump a lil too high in front of the wrong dude😂
Curious if you'll be doing this for all 3 classes or just this once? Loved the video!
I did hunters already, it’s linked in the description. And I’ll likely go warlocks too if this video performs okay
@@PattycakesGaming we warlocks have never been hated
@Darth Vader
>_>
Controverse holds with Handheld Supernova my lad.
@@darthvader9173 hated for almost all of d1 lol
@Darth Vader Handheld Supernova with Controverse Hold, OG Bottom tree Dawnblade super duration, Chaos reach in Trials (prior to the 30A changes), Penumbral Blast in the first two weeks of Stasis, Lightning Surge on Stormcaller (still not nerfed)...I'm a warlock main through and through, but we have had some BUSTED shit over the years, and that's just D2.
I still remember being shoulder charged walking around every corner in D1 crucible and part of me still harbors resentment towards them because of it.
Lol titans and hunters have been 90% of the problems in the game, yet warlocks always get harsher treatments smh.
Old Titan super was like thundercrash and new fist of havoc had a baby.
Seeing all the D1 gameplay really makes me wish we still had the same slim and clean titan look instead of the bulky stuff we have in D2 :(
What can I say, the power of crayons is a force to be reckoned with
I'm a titan main.
SINGLE... TITAN ran during 2 full weeks of IB
i do miss one shot shoulder charge, running arc with skullfort was so fun
I never hated my fellow titans... on the other hand, I despise the supid warlocks and always will
in D1 titans were so easy to deal with but rn they are a nightmare to handle
Universal remote and shoulder charge 1 hits in D1 are my fondest memories
Tbh, everyone still blame titans to be punchy apes, but damn warlocks on this aspect are even more cracked with their wireless and long ranged melee
It’s just been one time for me because I would have to stop hating them in order to begin hating them another time 🙃
Seeing arc blade makes me want it back. I get it's specter blades but arc but it just hits different
Long as there are two classes left in the game, someone is going to want someone nerfed.
I subconsciously used titan skate; but only util'd it in PvE
I’ve been a proud Titan ever since the start of Destiny 1
And one thing has been consistent throughout every different build I’ve tried
I’m way too stupid to acknowledge the hate
True that Titan Bro (:D)...we the rock that others must step on and hold the community up to its crazee/stupid fun standards...it's like a Zavala No Hate Zone (:D)
"Those were some painful times" - ever played with 4kda mm nowadays? It's literally UNPLAYABLE.
4 months later and titans have been hated for 4 more things (peacekeepers immortal, Antaeus again, behemoth targeted redaction 2 taps, and khepris horn glitch yesterday)
"19 crimes Titans still pay for to this day"
*The Devs have openly admitted most of them are Titan Mains.
@@AlticrooI mean it was a good nerf instead of all of your weapons getting a damage buff it’s only void weapons
Lorely was popularized in Haunted cause of Solar 3.0 but it was released in Witch Queen
@@EpslionBear I'm still upset that got taken away, fuck lorely give me my damage boost.
Every class is always hated by every other class
Even though I'm a hated titan main I'm still going to be the melee monkey and I'm proud of it
Hmm since I started playing since beyond light , warlocks have been nerfed the most
You forgot Universal Remote + Juggernaut meta
Me looking at pvp bubble Titans: you disgusting creature
Me looking at pve bubble Titans: hey look my best friend
Ease access to the game for newbie and casual players+ low skill ceiling = Titans.
Double Primary should've stuck around, made Crucible more bearable than getting Shotgun Slid every time you spawned in.
*remembering arc shoulder charge in year one with skullfort* I think we're the baddies
Do warlocks next... the 2x where warlocks were hated
As a Titan main, i can see why people hate Titan, but people hating Titan just makes me happier
Instant shoulder charge glitch in D1 was pretty fun to use. I received a lot of hate for using that and for being the one that initially put the video out showing how to do it 😅.
When you got the timing right you could really catch people off guard. I kinda feel bad about it now lol. Oh well good times.
Can’t wait to see my warlocks getting put on blast, remembering the og handheld supernova
1 time the destiny community hated warlocks ( 1 because we never stopped hating them)
they have been so favored in the meta for years now it makes me sick how overloaded they are and how they have lost their identity from destiny 1 now a days they are basically mismatch of destiny 1 titan and some random stuff
If suppression grenade has one fan, I am that fan. If suppression grenade has no fans, it is because I am dead
what a fun time! running like a crazy one and shoulder charge everyone !!!
Cmon. We RARELY get OP moments and most of these are D1.. hunters now have way more things that piss me off and its been that way for like 2 years😭😭
Wait. If it never stops, does that count?
As soon as the D1 beta hit, yall knew titans were too good. And its never slowed.
Yet, Titans have been the least used class.
You seem to have forgotten the newest titan bs in pvp which is popping shield every 16 seconds with full resilience. Plus citan's ramparts of course, fun Trials of the Osiris....
@PattycakesGaming.. cool! What did I win?
Warlock please
Actually I like to see citan titans against myself. They become quite surprised getting an ashen wake fusion grenades under the feet or when their barricade crumbles with some anti-barrier weapons. So I have no problems with barricades. All that you need is simply shoot them. Same deal to void ones. They are not so strong as they are talked.
I love being a Titan main
In D1 I dropped a 31 kill game and only 1 kill was with a gun. True shoulder charge supremacy
As a titan main who took advantage of all this.. this makes me smile
I’ve been a warlock main since the beginning of D1 but I’ve always liked the titans and now think I’m gonna swap just to be a part of the problem
Year one, Tractor Canon in Bubble shield
You forgot when Titans lost their collective shit about not getting Twilight Garrison back and then Bungie caved and gave them a dash anyway with Arc 3.0.
I started to replay Destiny 2 after roughly 5 years and to see my main of the previous game to now be hated is... Interesting.
Where'd my crayons go🥲🥲🥲
I bet a hunter video includes at least 50+ tops and is at least 2 hours long.
I’m surprised the random jug meta at the end of d1 wasn’t mentioned.
Cant wait for "3 Times The Destiny Community Hated Warlocks"
I still get one -shot by shoulder charge 😂
