Amusingly, Cad isn't just a name, it's also a word: If you say that a man is a cad, you mean that he treats other people, especially women, badly or unfairly.
Was waiting for the BBEG at the end to cast another meteor swarm on their tavern they were in to reply to their annoying messages.
Even better response to the last story: "Yes. It was I. That last slice of pie was the perfect end to my diabolical meal. I hope... you sleep peacefully tonight Caster. For it shall be your last..."
I once had a player make a foolish wish in the worst possible place to make such a wish. He was inside of an ancient, indestructible, god built, sentient tower...and he wished that he "would never die"...his full consciousness transferred to the tower, a very small part of the towers consciousness transferred to his characters body, and his characters body now connected to the towers energy is ageless and will always be regenerated. In the case of complete destruction the tower will generate a clone.

My best plot twist: I ran a Super Mario DnD campaign and halfway into the game, the players drew from the deck of many things as the big Koopa forces were breaking down the door to get them. One player drew the wish card and wished that Bowser was the son of Mario and Peach, then became a mad max style campaign because Princess Peach was the BBEG who wanted Bowsers blood to create Toad/Bowser Hybrids and make the world "Beautiful" with death and decay. Bowser was a good guy helping the goombas reclaim their land from Peach who was a Circle of the Spores Druid and spread her spores. She made toads by killing goombas and made toads from their bodies. Mario and Luigi never knew the whole time
I love every word of this piece of insanity.
BBEG should have started poisoning the occasional meal after that.

The first story was great, the second one is underwhelming without, like, the tavern exploding or something.
Yeah, 2nd story sucked eggs. "haha party don't respect BBEG" is boring as all heck IMHO

Acting all important when you can't stand the trolling from the heroes is a great way to tell them it's working! As Antony C. put it;
