Arrangement of "No Risk, No Reward" from Final Fantasy XVI.
Composed by Masayoshi Soken, arranged by Sipi Ovaska.
A super fun and epic track, especially considering how early on in the game it plays for the first time. I've made some slight variations, mostly in percussion and cymbals, since I didn't want a complete carbon copy. A lot of the instrumentation was guesswork as well, since the reference available is pretty compressed and super loud!
Transcribed by ear while arranging, so it's possible there are mistakes.

This is the only battle theme that can rival Those Who Fight from FF7

This is the best piece of music from a FF game since the Endwalkers theme. I can’t believe it but Soken is actually rivaling Uematsu

Your orchestral recordings are the best.
    I am a Japanese violinist.
I played using this sound source of yours.
If I post your UA-cam address and promote it, can I put out a performance video on my UA-cam?
    Please give me permission.

I've probably spent more time on the music than playing the game so far... so far I've been really impressed with the soundtrack. Following the big names of previous mainline FF composers is a tough act, but Soken has been able to pull it off as far as I'm concerned :)

@@SipiOvaskaMasayoshi Soken isn't following in the big names of previous mainline Final Fantasy composers... he is one. Final Fantasy XIV is still a mainline Final Fantasy, even though it's online, and it's currently one of the biggest games on the planet. I understand why not every Final Fantasy fan plays it--it's a time investment (I've only played it for a bit, but prefer the offline games), but it has some of the most influential music the series has ever had, much of it composed by Soken. And if you get the chance to listen to some of his Final Fantasy XIV compositions, I highly recommend it. He was heavily influenced by Uematsu, and it shows.
Although it's Final Fantasy XIV, he's composed A LOT of Final Fantasy music. Of all the composers that have stepped up to compose for Final Fantasy, only Uematsu has composed more music for Final Fantasy than Soken has (unless there's a lot of Masashi Hamauzu stuff I'm forgetting). He's been composing Final Fantasy music for over a decade. He's been composing for FFXIV since even its horrible 1.0 launch (though he wasn't the primary), and he's been the main composer for Final Fantasy XIV since A Realm Reborn, and has been the lead composer on all of its expansions--and those aren't small soundtracks. Early on with Final Fantasy XIV he also worked with Uematsu on some of it. I know not everyone has listened to the music of Final Fantasy XIV, but he's been the primary composer for that game since A Realm Reborn, and has added extensively to its music since. He's also been with Square-Enix since 2003, so he's not just some random guy. He's not just stepping into Final Fantasy for the first time. He's a veteran composer that is well aware of Final Fantasy's musical patterns, and probably understands them better than most. Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masashi Hamauzu have had their fair share of Final Fantasy titles (The Ivalice games for Sakimoto, the XIII trilogy for Hamauzu) but Soken has been pretty consistently adding music to Final Fantasy for a long time. I'm glad that Final Fantasy XVI has exposed more to his music beyond Final Fantasy XIV... but I would also recommend his Final Fantasy XIV catalog of compositions. Parts of it (I say that loosely) are even in Final Fantasy XVI. You'll also hear him rearrange or remix some of Uematsu's stuff, and it sounds really good. Soken did his homework, because Uematsu was a major influence on him.
It's absolutely no surprise that they tapped him to do the music for Final Fantasy XVI. Behind Uematsu he likely has the greatest understanding of Final Fantasy music, and why it works.

The bulk of the heavy lifting here (trumpets included) is done with Audio Imperia's Jaeger :) I think it was the first track I used it on, but it was easy to pick up!

WAYYYY TOO MUCH DISPROPORTIONATE TALKING/MOUTH-FLAPPING (WHICH ALSO IS BORING AND UNINTERESTING; PERSONA 5R HAD MUCH MORE BUT KEPT IT SOMEWHAT INTERESTING AND WAS COMPLETELY JUSTIFIED BY THE IMMENSELY FUN COMBAT) BUT THE OSTs ARE REALLY GOOD AS WELL AS THE HUNTS

P5R fun from combat was based on making you feel satisfied from making combos, targeting weaknesses and other like that while FFXVI makes you feel much more satisfied by making you fight an actual challenge. When it comes to "Mouth-Flapping" P5R kept it pretty easy to follow since there's not much things to learn about (It happens in our reality and they added only Personas and the Metaverse) as opposed to FFXVI where there's a lot of things you do not understand at the start and it was overall pretty dark with themes like magic, on-going wars everywhere, even slavery.
