Phil and I are now in our seventies.Twenty years ago I set off my narrowboat for a new life, three years later I met Phil. We married with our hog roast. 7yrs trading crafts and five boats later we swapped canal life and bought 4 acres of land. We planted over 3000 trees and created a glamping site. We spent four winters in Australia living on an ocean going boat on Lake McQuarie. We travelled from Sydney to Cooktown in our camper, later swapped for Ute with tent accommodation on top. However Covid brought us home. We are now felling some of our massive willows, selling a Gypsy wagon and an Ohio airstream and trying to retire. We had to sell the boat and Ute, but happily bought the four acre cider orchard next door. Packing life in, as you are doing has been an amazing journey. We will be long gone when Bill has flown the nest, but can imagine you both becoming Vloggers extraordinaires by the time you are our age! Thank you so much for sharing your lives and keeping the spirit alive. Roz and Phil x❤
Wow ❤ Thank you so much for sharing your adventures, your life. I’m humbled and incredibly appreciative. Thanks again and take care, from me in Sydney Australia (Glebe). 🙂🐿🌈❤️
I've come to the conclusion you could be doing anything, living or travelling anywhere...and you 3 would still be one of the most watchable channels on here. Why? Cause we're all totally invested in you. Why? Cause you're totally wonderful people...and bring back fond memories to many.
They are such lovely, nice folk!!! I just love watching them. They made the transition from a cute couple to parents and baby look like a breeze. I just love them!
When i was in Seville there was a bike race on. There was a drinks station right next to some construction works where the riders would stop for a brief minute or two. It was hilarious that almost every single rider who stopped was fully invested in the construction workers whilst taking a drink. At times there were several riders at time all chatting about the work being done, pointing and talking to the construction workers. Even when Spaniards are competing in a sporting event their obsession with construction works still kicks in. Thanks for your video!
You two are amazing, and William is a real star! Traveling with a toddler is not the easiest thing. I'm really enjoying these views of Spain, thanks for sharing!
You are certainly having a great adventure ... and somehow finding time to do vlogs as well. Thank you ever so much, and already looking forward to your next update.
I met a guy from Blackburn who was a hotel manager in Sydney. He spoke 5 languages fluently and did them all with a Lancashire accent. Nobody had problems understanding him.
Bless that wee soul always looking for his Mummy….breaks your heart. In Spain, the architecture is unbelievable especially in the larger cities, always look up. You will be astounded at both Madrid and Seville, stunning. You’re doing so well. Por favour, puedo tener, gracias. xx
I lived in Spain for 14 years, when I first went there I could not speak much Spanish at all, but now I am fluent read and write it, I also teach Spanish to the local branch of the U3A ( us older generation) I also speak German, but not used it for a number of years. Good luck on your journey.
William is so curious and is traveling so well I can see him loving 🥰 to travel when he grows up because his parents brought him along traveling the World 🌎…..Spectacular Parents!
Life is difficult lately so I can’t thank you enough for your generosity sharing your life and recent trip with all of us, with me escapism is a good thing xoxoxox
Thanks , I take my hat off to yous, doing all the travels with the wee one , yous make it look so easy, but im sure its not. Keep safe and enjoy your time with family . Cheers Janie
You truley are an amazing family, travelling so much with little William. He is adorable. I take my hat off to you three, and I think it is amazing that you are taking us with you, thank you. xxx
Me and my partner have an on going joke about British mispronunciations of Valladolid. We came from watching another Narrowboaters channel @EmilyandBen where they visited and pronounced it VallaDOID, and now we’re getting Valla-Du-Lid from you guys, hahah. ❤
Don’t worry about being polite, in Spain they don’t use all the extra polite verbs lol. Loving your trip, you are so natural and I am loving coming with you. Oh to be young again lol.🤗
Mucho Gracias to you too. You make it look so easy travelling with a toddler, i did it solo & it wasn't easy but it's the kind people you meet along the way who make it pleasurable.Clearly William didn't appreciate your Moroccan look Jo....but i did 🤩😁🤣😂. I said it would be great to see more vlogs...fantastic. Thanks guys. Happy travels. Had my chuckle for the day... A demain.
Loving the glimpse into your holiday - William is doing really well with all of the changes, and Vic and Jo you’re doing a great job navigating a foreign country with a toddler!!
So great to follow your travels, whether on narrow boats or trains! Oh, William, bless his little heart. I'm sure all the grans (like me) out there are delighting in watching him grow, walking and talking now. You are doing such a wonderful job with him (and I know how difficult it can be taking a toddler on a long distance trip). I look forward to more of your Spanish adventures!
It's been great getting these updates on of your travels , I'm guessing it gives you guys something to do while on those long journeys in transit. Not so great for you but is for us 😁 Wait till William gets to the "are we there yet" age 😂😂😂
Oh guys look what you've done... I'm looking at flippin train tickets around Spain! I hate flying but never thought of training it. Hope youre all enjoying Portugal together and the trip back is/was easy xxxx
Every single video has been brilliant!!! I am sorry Bill didn’t like your new look. I wonder why it bothered him so much? You looked great! Thank you so very much for taking us along on this journey! Have either one of you had any sleep?
Oh what an interesting trip. I've never traveled outside of the US and so I love when folks travel and show the rest of us the sights. The outfit was gorgeous and it was nice of them to help you out with the menu. Travel safe. Looking forward to your next vlog.
Wow you guys are so so AMAZING to share your experience throughout your Spain 🇪🇸 vacation and here I am in the Mountains ⛰️ of New Hampshire in a really bad Northeastern snow Storm .I will never ever get to travel to Spain 🇪🇸 or Europe but I can experience it because you you Both ….Thank You 😊
Jo you're being too hard on yourself with the accent/language thing. Just trying is often appreciated. Besides, your politeness and lovely character shines through. Enjoy your travels and thank you for sharing.
@@GrahamRead101 I don’t live in the region for Luma, I use GWR & CrossCountry trains - they’re atrocious 5 carriages going from Plymouth to Edinburgh, packed in like sardines. Occasionally they join two trains together if they have the staff. No buffet bar, somebody comes round with a trolley & then not all the time as it’s choc-a-block with luggage! Absolute rubbish, sorry about the whinge.
@@paullowden1643 fair enough. Services vary massively don’t they. The South Western trains are new and pretty decent from where I am to london. Southern however are atrocious. Luma and East Cost services are fully service buffet car and not bad at all; cross country like you say poor (used them once or twice).
I live in Spain. The locals really appreciate us even trying. My Spanish is all over the place but they still love it and laugh kindly at my terrible verbs lol. Enjoying following your trip. Have a great time.
Enjoy your getaway and time with your family. William is becoming quite the globe trotter; lucky little fella! Thank you so much for taking us along; it feels as though I am sitting in the backseat enjoying the ride! Safe travels to you, xoxo's Sandie

Their trains are so much better than British ones, with an actual bar! Good video.
They do look good - the decent intercity UK trains like the Luma also have a bar, at least the one's I've been on have.
