Thank you for all of your wonderful comments. Unbelievably, Frank suddenly passed away on Saturday Feb 17 2019 while on a vacation in the Florida Keys with his wife and her family. I was his personal manager and can say it was a great loss to me, his family and his fans in the US & Europe. It was truly a great loss to the world of music. His voice no doubt was a gift from God. Please watch all of his videos to realize what a great natural tenor voice he had possessed. R.I.P my friend till we meet again.

What a truly beautiful instrument! I love both Bjorling and Lanza and think that Frank sounds like both. A truly gifted gentleman. May he rest in peace, a true tenor!

What very sad news. I knew Frank when I was living and performing in Philadelphia years ago. He was a wonderful loving man with a blessed voice. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. God Bless you Frank.

Oh, no! This can't be true that Frank Tenaglia Is gone! He was wonderful! He had so much of the spirit of Mario Lanza AND even a voice that came as close to Lanza as anyone has ever come. He was a great singer in his own right and I have listened to his videos as often as I have listened to the so called opera "greats". RIP Frank, may God grant you rest and eternal life. Grazie per cantare come un angelo!

May God rest his soul. Frank was a great guy. I had the pleasure of speaking with him about ten years ago and he related the story of how he had hydrocephalus and couldn’t hear as a small child. When his father visited family in Italy he went to see St. Padre Pio and before he could say a word, the saint told him, “Don’t worry. Little Francesco will be fine.” When he returned to America, little Frank had perfect pitch hearing and could mimic just about anything he heard. That’s when Frank began singing Mario Lanza songs and sounding just like him. Frank attributed it to Padre Pio’s prayers for him. RIP my friend

He was such a nice man. When I was a young singer in training, he came to a recital and was full of compliments, advice, stories. And that voice!!! He is and will be missed!

He sang with the reading symphony back in the 90’s. We made him encore Nessun Dorma at least once it was so good.

So sad, he was subjected, 60 years after lanza, to the same criticisms, because he didn't have the proper "training". The art music "know-it-alls" can go to hell...
