I agree man. It’s a beautiful bridge. I love cantilevers and think they are the most beautiful bridges. Not only that they symbolize the times they were built in where people worked harder and had more pride in their work.
Chester is an absolute nightmare loading regular midds. Love your videos man! You’re really good at showing what yankin a welfare wagon is really like.
I will tell you after being his wife for 34 years your videos make him very happy I honestly think he misses all the action he has always had fight in him I just don't know how much he has left he has his good days and bad I believe in my heart that your video's are helping his fight so I thank you from my heart
You are so welcome. I told him a few months ago I’d make them if he was the only one watching. He is in my thoughts and prayers everyday. Please give him my best and keep fighting hard.
I've got pictures somewhere of the 93 flood I hauled a helluva lot of sand just outside of Cairo for bagging I've never seen so much water ever. Stay Safe.👍🇺🇸
was gonna comment something about cairo. always pass through on way to see family. real weird feeling down there. i was born just after the flood in stl/stc area. ive never seen remnants up here other than levees and stories - those smaller towns just got left as is it seems. ill have to look it up before and during.
I remember that flood we hauled skidded coils to Macomb IL water got 3 feet deep over hwy 136 for several miles east of Havana IL ,when it finally receded they dumped about 4 feet of gravel over the road and then paved it . The detour was on a county road but it wasn't too bad weird looking at a big lake instead of cornfields. I talked to one of the locals according to him the water was coming from the Illinois river and it had backed up an aquifer and of course the water had no where else to go to.
I have gone through your entire history and I still feel that how you struggle as an owner of a truck transport, similar to in Europe, and in a way I feel sorry for you, how much you struggle for a living in an even harder way. Patrik - Czech Republic 👍👍👍👍👍

I know exactly where you loaded in Illinois. You were just north of where I live. That hill dropping down to that left turn is no joke if you’re loaded. The bridge is getting replaced so it should be a brand new bridge soon.
@@thedirtytrucker9633 We winched everything out of the river, including the John Deere log Skidders, two of them if I remember correctly that came off. I still have pictures of it. Condolences to the Family. TGP

She may be a mess, but I think I like that bridge. It just needs steel grates for a road and it would be perfect.

So glad the video made him smile. I’ve been wondering all week about his condition .

Man I bet that was something to see!

Man the magnitude of that flood was so massive
You're five minutes away from my house 😊
Where is that at?

Man it’s not easy! Most of the rewards you have are the freedom and the satisfaction of doing things the way you want to.
I’ve hauled into ardent mills a bunch and it’s neat how close to the river you are. That down hill can be sketchy as hell especially in winter
Yeah man. It was one of the coolest places to load. I went and hung out by the river for a while after I loaded
stay safe driver watching from london ky
Thanks! Do you know Andrew yaden?
yes i know Andrew yaden own the car lot
Great video! 👍
flex tape works good for fixing tarps.
I used gorilla tape on that hole. It was smaller than a pea but they had me open the doors and looked for daylight underneath
have you ever hauled in or out of Clayton, Ia.
I never have!

Have you ever pulled convertible hoppers? I did some of that back in the 90's Doing mostly food grade tanker now.

That new bridge looks like it’s going to be nice
Did you load in Chester?
Yes I did
The doors will warp if you load on them too much. Mine are warped now from the previous owners.
That’s right man! Taking care of equipment is just part of mantainece!
August 23, 1942 Chester bridge.
Thanks. Newer than I thought. Not by much though😂
Thanks to the straight pipes.
Not so much the straight pipes as much as it is the clowns that use Jake’s for no reason.
Gerald. Seems like you’ve been finding the slop lately to unload in. I guess it is what it is. Have a good weekend brother.👍👍👍
Thanks Raymond! Have a good weekend too man
We cleaned that wreck up . He was hauling Skidders
What a shame that was.

Wow man! Man that’s the wreck. When I was talking about that I was thinking to myself that no one watching this will know anything about that wreck.

I can’t remember it’s been a while since I saw the pics. Did they come off the trailer during the recovery and crush the truck?

How many miles you got on them trucks?
The 379 has right at 2 million. Who knows on the 359😂
I’m seeing more and more no engine brake signs all over the area that we cover. It is almost becoming dangerous.
About like people from the city moving to the country and then crying because the farmer down the road from them raises cows and pigs and they fart
Hey bud I sent ya an email! Didn't know how else to get ahold of ya.
too slow is always better than too fast and having an auger clog. need a lot of lysol to get rid of smell.
