Super Mario 64 meets Toontown Rewritten

- This is just a fun little project I made, using the Bob-omb Battlefield level straight from Super Mario 64, in Toontown Central.

7/5/14 UPDATE: After an update today in Toontown Rewritten, custom models can no longer be used in the game. Sorry :(
2015 UPDATE: It's technically possible to use custom phases in the game. You'll have to generate a cookie for your sesson, and then manually launch yourself into the game with a batch file for windows. For the cookie part, see: www.toontownre... . Other games that don't rely on checking the phases when there's not an update are exempt from this and don't need to be replaced. Good Luck!
UPDATE 2016:
The method mentioned about no longer works unfortunately. Currently, there is no simple way to use models in game for TTR. Sorry!
The download is pretty big, due to the music having to loop manually in it's own file. I may add updated versions of the level that include more from the original game, and post their download links here for future viewers.
As for the current model itself, I had to add collisions, and scale up the level since the original size of the level was no bigger than the TTC plaza. Some modules are missing, since they were either not a part of the level's file itself, or would not show with the model being static. The star at the top of the mountain was also added.

This is legit the greatest thing that has ever happened. If the Rewritten team is okay with it I would love to see community mods available on different servers. ^_^

Omg nostalgia! Love this! They should definitely implement this in the acrual game somehow, and make it playable! So many ideas you could make from this is overwhelming....
The thing is TTR is VERY vulnerable when it comes to hacking/placing resources in the game, they don't understand that no matter how much they fix it, there are still MANY MANY ways of getting resources and cheats to work in game.

If you get your hands on the TTI leak, you should totally make this a new playground and put Cog paths where enemies go in SM64.
You know, when you had the chance, you could have changed the cog(s) model to a toon model. With also changing the animations, and sounds. Maybe even have the toons have suits on (Like Vp, ect.)

I want to make a Super Mario 64 version of Toontown. Just gotta learn how to code in Python, and buy Panda3d. Can't afford to make a server of it (I think .-.) but it'll be a fun project, to do someday
