- Rasta Pasta is a mixture of Jamaican ground seasonings like bell pepper, (normally of 3 different colours) hot pepper, jerk seasoning and other vegetables, steamed away in creamy coconut milk with macaroni. Most people add shrimp or chicken. The colors from the dish originally reflected the colors of the Rastafarian culture: red, yellow, and green, which prompted someone to call it "rasta pasta".
In this video, I'll be seeing this recipe prepared with their signature style garlic lobster in coconut juice, at one of our local/International reggae artiste restaurants in Old Pera, St Thomas.

I was home twice last yr. wanted to try Rasta Pasta & couldn’t find a restaurant any pl that serve it, now I know. Definitely on my return I’ll be there for my Rasta Pasta. I am a Jamaican watching fr the U.S. for the first time, love the beautiful scenery. Blessings

I love the vibe I love the fresh vegetation the green settings as far as the cuisine the chef overcooked everything He killed the lobster and he should call that lobster fish lobster run down burnt the chicken very disappointed with the food. There's a reason why the dishes call Rasta pasta you don't see the red green and gold which is usually indicated by sweet bell peppers I mean just very disappointed with the food overall
