I have the same struggle. Doing mixed media requires many supplies and I just don't reach my drawers enough. Frida is so cute! She looks so chill, unbothered and confused all the time!
"Okay...Okay...Okay..." Is my mantra when I'm organizing my studio too! I feel like I just move one thing someplace else, and eventually it'll make its way back to where I 'Organized it' from.
@chickenpantsstudio That's exactly it, i think by saying 'okay' we're trying to assure ourselves that we're not overwhelmed, and will be able to do the thing we just have to keep saying 'okay'.
I have the same struggle with do I purge it just sort and put away - my problem is I have too much of some things and really need the space. But then I need space to purge that I don’t have because I have too much! Insanity and chaos - it just never ends! Lol You’re doing a great job though!!
I love to watch other people organize their craft areas! Also I'm a pug kind of girl I have a black one that is 4 🖤 her name is Sophia Marie. And a 9 month old fawn named Katie Rose. Thanks for sharing your space with us.
Oh my gosh, Claire! Ya did so much! This felt all too relatable 😅 Organizing an art studio space and making it workable without it feeling overwhelming and overstimulating is a delicate balance! And I’m assuming you’re also filling orders in this space as well. It’s a lot to handle and I feel ya, sis! I could so feel the emotional roller coaster! But you made incredible progress and the rest of it will come eventually and everything falls into place (why it can’t just fall into place on its own, we may never know)
I have a lot in open boxes or seethrough plastic boxes. The things I don't see,I don't use😅 I LOVE to organize my art stuff, because I can look at and It makes me happy😂
It was so fun to watch your process! My space looks very similar. I love to use all the things. I finally took out so much and put them near my hands. It works so much better. But if you’re ocd don’t come to my studio hahahaha
Hi! Welcome! I found the apron on Amazon, and it has been just perfect so far. Here's a link to the exact one I bought: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08PJTGK9P/ (Not an affiliate link, just fyi)
The only thing about aprons like this, I have one, is that you need to be super patient to put it on as it’s all one piece! Sometimes I just laugh at myself as I miss an arm through hahahahaha
I'm trying to conjure the will power to tidy up my craft room and I've been looking around videos to get inspired but I found myself with a mortal question every time i move something in there: What can be placed in a shelf or on my desk that gets direct sunlight (mostly after noon), what can be over an area where it gets mostly indirect sunlight and what has to be in the shade at all times? 🤔🤯 that limits what goes where in my tiny room. Lets say markers (water, alcohol, acrylic, permanent), gel pens, alcohol inks and ink pads, stickers, glue and do i have to consider if any of these are in a transparent container/barrel or not? 😭 HELP! 🤣🥰 This ADHD brain of mine refuses to clean that room and i really need some help figuring out how to do it. Loved the end result as I do have too see everything or else they will be placed in "object permanence" mode and never be thought of again 🤣
Oh, that does make it tricky. Some of that stuff absolutely should be stored out of direct sunlight so it lasts longer. I hope you find the organizational inspiration you need!💖💖💖

Glad it’s not just me! 😄 Drawers are like a black hole that art supplies disappear into.
I love your furbabies!!!!!!!💖🤗💖
Thank you!😊🐾
Freda is adorable!! Love the head tilt when you talk to her. Lol
Thanks! She’s a good listener. 😂
My style is chaos, then overwhelm, then creating. It gets out of control easily. So I am also reorganizing my studio. Excited to see your studio.
Glad you enjoyed the video! Happy reorganizing!
I feel like I'm watching myself organize. I also have to see my supplies and I need to be able to reach them while I'm sitting at my desk/work table.
I’m glad it’s not just me! 😊
It's definitely not. 😊
"Okay...Okay...Okay..." Is my mantra when I'm organizing my studio too! I feel like I just move one thing someplace else, and eventually it'll make its way back to where I 'Organized it' from.
😂 So glad it’s not just me! The studio overwhelm struggle is real!

Oh, that sounds very tricky indeed! Hang in there! 💖

It was super fun to help out and record for you! Let’s tear down everything you did and DO IT AGAIN! 🤣
Haha nooooo! 😅Thank you for your help on the video!
😂😂😂 spoken by a true friend (or family member)! Lol
11:01 “you always need to be ready…for ART” ❤
She’s wise beyond her years, that kid. 😂

New viewer, sorry if this has been asked before- Where did you get your apron? I love it!

Oh my lord 3 fur babies???? Please can I baby sit 😅 loved the make over too, sorry got distracted by the fur babies 😂
No worries! They are distracting! 😄 (in a good way 😅)
Where did you get that tall rolling cart? I’ve only seen ones with 3 trays.
Amazon! There’s a ton of options there. The only thing is that the drawers are plastic instead of metal.

Yes please!
