- Hello friends! 👋 Today I'm sharing my fantasy art studio makeover. It's inspired by cozy fantasy cottages like the hobbit hole and Hogwarts common rooms! It's a magical space full of light and dark academia vibes, where I can paint, design, create and READ! My main focuses were to paint this space a nice cozy green color and have a beautiful accent wall that would compliment another wallpaper I have in my house! I've been saving up money, wall decor and art for a while now trying to complete this magical space. So I hope you enjoy this video and that it'll inspire you to create beautiful spaces in your home!

What's your dream room aesthetic?
my aesthetic is goblincore. Lots of vintage furniture, shades of marsh and brown, lots of greenery and books!
I have always fantasized about living in a hobbit hole and also love the Harry Potter , fantasy aesthetics. Really well done nest.
Monastery. I'm Catholic. So, there are lots of statues of the saints and angels and stained glass.
Cottagecore meets Faeries meets Acadamia meets Astrology.
I’ve always said that I want to live in a cottage in a clearing in the middle of a forest with a stream nearby. My decor would be woodland, elfish, light academia. Also an attached greenhouse and art studio

A lovely relaxing room. If you haven't thought of it already, how about a set of battery operated fairy lights with a timer in the amber fairy lamp you have above your desk. It will create a sparkling ambient light in the evenings. And you won't have to think about turning them on and off.

It's gorgeous and really cohesive! Love the wallpaper and mirror. The only element that is a tad jarring is the white hanging shelves beside it. I agree that natural wood shelves should be more harmonious. My simple trick for finding just the right thing; simply set an intention that the perfect item(s) will appear on the curb of a street as you drive by. Works more often than not for me! It could be discarded furniture, or planks of wood from construction or demolition...you just never know. Then if the wire supports were spray painted a dark green (or Olde gold) ,maybe with some Ivy attached on one side, that could boost the vibe even further.
Thank you! You're definitely not the first person to mention the shelves. I admit it was a quick decision on my part to include those because I wanted so badly to start the process. I did have a friend mention to me that I should at least paint them the same color as the wall, which I'm still trying to decide if that's the route I want to take or if I want to wait for something more perfect to come along. LOVE the ivy idea! I think I'll have to take that idea from you 😜

Isn’t that so cool?! The artist that makes these “mirrored art” pieces (there’s a mirror on the opposite side) provides the nail with the art. Such a great touch!

That Wallpaper turned out so GOOD! And I'm not even a wallpaper person, but it looks like it has a gold shift and makes the space feel magical and the pattern is calming. And that painting you found UGH. All the blues tie in with the wall, while the pink blanket and the golden tones in her skin compliment the colors in the room and the pop of charcoal in the background gives it the umph. The scale is perfect for your long piece of furniture. You did an awesome job!

Another amazing video. We definitely have similar taste in decor. Could definitely use your help in decorating my craftroom. Definitely gives me some ideas to change it again love this color of paint. Also I love harry potter to I did a whole room in brick painted by hand. Still have to do a mural of hogwarts and add a gallery wall. Thank you for sharing again great video.
For your craft room, my best advice is to find elements in other peoples spaces here on youtube, pinterest, instagram and tiktok. Then take what you liked from them and try to replicate or make them your own! The internet is such a wonderful place for inspiration 😍 Your HP room sounds amazing!

Oh wow! I wish I had your talent for decorating. LOVE the green and gold theme.
You probably do! It just takes some time and planning. This idea took me months to put together, picking up bits and bobs throughout the year until I could finally piece it all together. My advice is to just start with inspiration, put together a Pinterest board, save videos like mine or others, instagram photos. Where ever you get inspiration from and then go from there 😊
