I've bought a lot of cactus from PD. They are the real deal, experts!! My most successful plants come from them. Thanks Ana for introducing PD to us. We love it. Just ordered a Ferocactus Latispinus (devil's tongue). I just call him devil cactus.

Hahaha. I will accept that “lucky girl” compliment. I felt like a little girl in Candyland. My husband literally had to drag me out of that place as I could not stop staring at all the cactus and succulents in front of me! 😁 Part 2 coming soon. 👍🏼

What a special treat to receive a private tour and interview with the owners of this high quality specialty nursery. I’ve been hoping that they would open to the public at some point and am looking forward to it, when they are able. Most of the specialty nurseries in this area are by appointment only, or have limited hours for the public, or are strictly wholesale. It’s understandable from a business viewpoint but it means that the casual shopper, who might want to browse is limited in their opportunities to visit and enjoy in person shopping. (I only have time to skim this but will give it a proper viewing tonight.)
I did not make it to the nursery that you suggested. But I visited another one and you are right, I did not know that it was by appointment only. The owner let me in but I was pretty much on my own. But wow, I envy your location. You have so many nurseries. Here in Vegas, we only have big box stores. The ones that call themselves “nursery” do not grow their own plants. They also just buy them from California and resell them.

I love nursery tours and learning more about the people that run them. I had to look up what the flower of Edithcolea grandis looked like. It would have been grand to catch those in bloom. You'll have to tour again for us Ana!

On the other hand I feel it when talks about saving the planet and not polluting it takes place, coz we are just destroyed so many beautiful species already😿🥀of plants just for our species to thrive and multiple by the thousands.
Good people I have a quarter of my collection come from them and most of my aloes
A lot of my blooming cacti are from them 🙂

Wowwwww like heaven there sis. Lucky you. How many you brought home? Haha. My crested euphorbia flanaganii just died this winter haha. The eriosyce are sooo pretty, love the form. Wish to have a mammillaria with big blooms. Wow pseudolithos sis is my favourite, I’ve only got a super tiny one, want to have that size. Typing comment ako while watchin so puro wow kada plant haha
