Why did you add at the first example when finding the percentage in between the scores and the last example u subtracted

Sir I thought when you say above one should assume it should be more than that thing but you added 0.2611+0.5 when looking for probability of score greater than 60
If negative z score then above and positive below…thats plus 0.5.

Hi Sir! Your video is great. But pls let me take this chance to ask a question. We know that normal distribution is for continuous data, and the test scores are discrete, so why can we assume a normal distribution for the test scores? (I know that it's possible but I'd like to know why?) Thank you in advance!

For greater than.. If negative then plus 0.5 but if positive then minus 0.5.
sir when to add 0.5 and when to subtract 0.5?
If the area pass thru the center then + 0.5 but if area away from the center the minus 0.5

Hi in 8:02 you said to just ignore the negative but isn’t there a negative z-score/table??
yup there is a negative z-table and positive z-table but i'm making your life easy so that's why i prefer to use this table for negative and positive z. Anyway this give the same value.
