Thank you so this rilly helped me alot like I have an exam nxt wk and I knew nothing on this topic buh after watching this I now able to solve problems
The total area to the left side is 0.5 to get it's probability u subtract the probability given to get the area (probability) of the remaining shaded part 👍
Since the total area under the curve is 1. It simply implies that the area on both sides of the mean is 0.5 each. Now recall that the Z table gives the area between 0 and the Z value. Hence 0.5 - 0.1255 gives the wanted area.
The aim is to get the area of the shaded region, and the value of each side by the broken line is 0.5. Now, you must get the unshaded to know the shaded which is the value gotten from the table. Then you subtract these value from 0.5 to get the shaded part.
Hello, the total area under the normal distribution curve is 1 and it's symmetrical through the mean. Therefore, from the mean to the right of the curve is 0.5 as well as to the left of the curve making a total of 1 when added. Be informed also that the area of the curve represents probability which is always between 0 and 1. Thank you.
Check the z score ranges...and what area they cover and u will notice why he substracted ...just use diagrams to notice the area covered from zero of the z axis
Im if i get ur question..normally the normal curve has a total probability area of 1 and is symmetrical about center...so the other left part of mean center is 0.5 percent area and the right of mean is also 0.5 which all attributes to 1
I have watched many videos and didn’t understand, your video gave me all that I need !thank you
You are the best on this Normal distribution probability you really saved us. we need more videos of statistics. may God bless you. from Namibia.
Thanks. I will try my best. Amen to your prayer.
Whats the 0.5 all idea, can't we subtract from one 1,as it is al 1 probability?
Thank you so this rilly helped me alot like I have an exam nxt wk and I knew nothing on this topic buh after watching this I now able to solve problems
You are welcome.
We are glad it helped.
Best of luck!
This video provide step by step explanation and i can understand normal distribution problem. Thank you.
You are welcome. We are glad to read your feedback.
This video saved my semester final.Take ❤ from 🇧🇩.
WOw great explanation indeed, Nice work sir
Glad you liked it!
Thank you so much. You made me understand. God bless you. 🙏🙏🙏
You are welcome.
Glad it helped!
Why minus 0.5 in d first example
The total area to the left side is 0.5 to get it's probability u subtract the probability given to get the area (probability) of the remaining shaded part 👍

Thank you so much for helping I have watched some videos but this is the best
You're welcome!
Glad it helped.
Excellent demonstrations!
Thank you for your feedback and compliment.
It means a lot to us.
Warm regards.
Your video is helpful🤝
We appreciate your feedback.
I will watch the video again just to cement the concept thanks much
Nice one
Well explained. Thank you.
You're welcome!
We are glad you enjoyed one of our videos.
Warm regards.
can you help me understand where or why 0.5 is used in the equation thankyou
Thanks you sir you explained very clearly
You are welcome.
the part that i dont understand is when we're adding those 0.02 etc to the z score why are we adding that and how do you know which number to add?
Thanks, so helpful.
You are welcome. We are glad it was helpful!
What z table did you use?
Are there different z tables?
Yes there are. Use the one recommended by your school please.
Please explain why we subtract 0.3413-0.0636
Interesting
thank you its clear to understand.
You are welcome.
wait wasnt it suppose to be o.5+ in the first first example?? or why is it minus if its less than?
I have not understood why you subtract on question d
Hi.. how did you get the 0.5

It's amazing your a genius man
God bless you buddy
In the last question D why you aren't add the two area and after subtract 0.5
someone please explain this
I also thought of the same idea. someone kindly explain this
Even me too, I thought should be 0.5-p1-p2
Check the z score ranges...and what area they cover and u will notice why he substracted ...just use diagrams to notice the area covered from zero of the z axis
thank you !!
Thanks❤
Sir book name
very interesting indeed
We are glad you found the video interesting. Warm regards.
Thank you
You're welcome.
thank very much
You are welcome
Thanks Sir
You are welcome
where does o.5 came from
P(z=0)=0.5 from the table
Im if i get ur question..normally the normal curve has a total probability area of 1 and is symmetrical about center...so the other left part of mean center is 0.5 percent area and the right of mean is also 0.5 which all attributes to 1
but why have changed the sign on second example
The idea is to get the area between the two value of Z. To do that we ind the area from 0 to -1 and minus it with the area from 0 to -0.16
Because it is symmetric ....we don't take negatives ..that's why we change the sign also but when using a calculator ..the sign remains
I have really apriciated the service
I have really apriciated the service
But l think we have a negative z table why can't he use it
Thanks
Welcome
be blessed
O.5????
because total area under the curve is 1. so a half of it will be 0.5. that was explained before solving the question.
At 10 : 50 not clear
How you got 0.5 value
Each half of the curve represents 0.5 of the total area which is one
