I have a question. After finding our Z for example, his first exercise it was -1.2 so according which criteria should we choose 0.02? in order to find its region. I'm confused I need explanation please. Thank you
@@EphraimMenseThere are 2 decimal places in -1.22. The first decimal place is 0.2 which is included in -1.2 and the second decimal place is 0.02. Hope this helps!
I don't think if this is the first video you are watching you'll understand the concept. I also loved the video have given my thumbs up. But this was a revision for me. I had learnt this earlier, 2 years back.
Agree simply because your teacher already introduce the lesson that helps to understand this video lesson better so better appreciate your teachers effort🙂
@@awesomebush8711 they gave a couple of values (not Z score) and asked to find mean and variance, not the way I prepared sadly. I messed up. But I did answer the other parts, so I'm confident I will pass. How did yours go??
Thank you sir! Finally a simple explanation in plain language! I won't lie. I've cried more than once this semester because of college stats. This video is a relief. You have a wonderful ability to convey a difficult concept. I assume you are a teacher. If not, you should be. You're a natural at this.
I'm in my shs now, and I don't understand what my teachers said. It's not that I hate him but my learnings depend how good the teacher teach and I don't get anything from him at all. And it leads me here, thank u so much!
Thank you so much! I’m in eighth grade and I didn’t understand this lesson since we were only given worksheets and left to understand it alone. This really helped. I checked other videos but it made me confused more. While this literally helped me understand and helped me what the tables are for. Now I can finally answer my assessment and enjoy summer vacation☺️
THE BEST tutorial ever ..... beats my crappy university lectures who spend hours and this guy manages to teach it GRACEFULLY and perfectly in 5 minutes . THANK YU

Thank you for these videos-they are extremely helpful and well thought out - and your voice is very calming. You’ve helped me several times and I greatly appreciate it.

Quick feedback, I got 80% on my first quiz on linear programming and am so grateful to have watched your channel. I believe that I will equally do well on stats meth. Thank you!!!

I have a question. After finding our Z for example, his first exercise it was -1.2 so according which criteria should we choose 0.02? in order to find its region. I'm confused I need explanation please. Thank you
Because the Zscore was -1.22 you find the tenths place (1.2) on the vertical values. Then you find the hundredths place of 1.22 (.02) in the columns. So if your z score was -1.23 then go to row 1.2 and column .03, If the z score is -1.24 then the row is still 1.2 but the column will be .04 Hope that makes it clear.
Audrey Mendez, Your explanation helped me to understand why the person in the tutorial selected those particular columns. I think he did not explained that part in the video. You nailed it though. Thank you.
Thank you so much!!!! Your explanation beat my professor, the textbook, and every single other video I watched! And the best part is that it's only 5 minutes - and the fact that you say "zed" instead of "zee" makes me so happy :) every time I hear the letter z being pronounced as "zee" I feel like crying

A very presentable video, unlike the others that they wrote and draw in computer using their mouse which make a messy video. Although they can explain well but this one is very presentable and so satisfying to learn with this kind of tutorial.

You're welcome, Elizabeth.
watching this because I don't pay attention during math

Why did you use the column 0.02?
By looking at the decimal for the zscore. Since the zscore was -1.22, you use the colum for 0.02
Because the Zscore was -1.22 you find the tenths place (1.2) on the vertical values. Then you find the hundredths place of 1.22 (.02) in the columns.
So if your z score was -1.23 then go to row 1.2 and column .03, If the z score is -1.24 then the row is still 1.2 but the column will be .04
Hope that makes it clear.
