Living Free Mike gets discouraged

- Living Free abandoned his channel and started a new one a few years ago. Mike has since tried to make a comeback on his old channel, Living Free. Things aren't growing as fast as he would like. He complains that a video was posted 6 hours ago and only has one thousands views. His long hours isn't resulting in the return he wants. There is always a real job.

These are the types of people you don't want working by you.. They work harder at trying to get out of work.. I've seen several in my days.. Why not just do your job since you are there anyways, nope, gotta go find a hiding spot..
I'm 74 and a full-time RVer. I work from April thru October 6 days a week 11 hrs a day, love what I do and have time for my UA-cam Channel that I don't earn money from. I can't imagine being in my 40s, 50s or 60s and not working. My parents would be so proud of me! Love your channel Linescrew and Blindviews! Marie ❤️

Oh gosh, I ended up watching that the other day.. Glad you are putting a spot light on it.. I wanted to comment about why not just get a job or even a part time job then to always put your eggs in one basket and be dependent on YT pocket change.. I think he is jealous of Tater and CVK since he sees what they have.. Jealousy is a sin, Mikey.. His channel ran it's course and he puts out nothing of interest, it's old and stale, just like CVK and Tater but now Tater got him a honey...

The thing I forgot to mention in the video was him blaming females. Chicks get clicks and he can't get views.
I agree! What a normal person would do in Mikes situation is get a real paycheck job for a while since his UA-cam channel is only paying him pennies. He could continue to make UA-cam videos until he builds it back up then quit the paycheck job at the point where he’s confident UA-cam money is sufficient to thrive on.

I watch your videos because it's such a time saver. Time is the most precious commodity we have and I don't want to waste my time watching Mike complain about buying land without a JOB or any steady income. Who is he kidding.
If Mike is that way with his subscribers, could you imagine being in a relationship with him? 😆 You get what you put in with UA-cam.

Mike also admitted that abandoning his channel for over a year is a channel killer. So what the hell does he expect.
Poor Mike, he is too lazy to put forth an effort to complete anything he starts, and to think of getting a job, well that would require him to do physical things that would tax his freedoms of easy chair time. He might have to do hygiene things you know the kind of things that require water and surfactants. He has reached the realization that he is incapable to finish anything so why even start anything, just point at the people on his channel and blame them for not filling the pot of gold he is looking for you know what I mean begging for a living while he thinks in his easy chair. If he ever decides to do something like working, he will find the rewards of some change in his pocket and his channel would do better as well. I hope he finds his way, there is a better world waiting for him out there.

I was looking through his videos and it is unreal how stereotypical Living Free's channel is. Slab City. Quartzsite. Getting kicked out of campsites. Trying to find parking so he can sit and exist for weeks on end. It reinforces literally every worn-out stereotype about RV living. And of course "travel" has become merely an afterthought. That's the problem with most RV channels nowadays. It's all about batteries, solar panels, propane, and all the crap they have to waste money on. Then they have to find a place to park indefinitely, so they can just stay put and exist. Boondocking and existing in a trailer is NOT travel. These people don't seem to go anywhere anymore.

I spend at least 16 minutes a day working on my channel. I watch @Blindviews the rest of the time cause I worked 45 years and retired with monthly checks!

I quit watching him. Between yelling or trying to sell something. I think nomads are falling from youtube grace.
Mike has a great piece of property he lives on but it is too far away from CVK and NF, so he tells people he is looking for land just to get views, after watching 10 parcels that all look the same makes it predictable after a while, then he wants to show what he cooks, i can watch myself cook bacon and eggs and save 10 minutes of my life. I give the dude advice and then he says he gets rough comments that he doesn't understand what cc&r vs HOA means. You can't help anyone when they are hyper sensitive.
He already has land?, Then why is he whining so much? Honestly from a YT video, it mostly all looks the same. AZ desert is AZ desert, add an extra scrub tree or so, it' still looks like a desert.
I agree with you about back when he was traveling he would post some places that I will never go and see. But for the past few years he has did nothing.

My wife watches his channel and she always tells me of what he says, she gave him some good advice but he won't take any he won't even respond to his subs only the ones that praise him of what he goes, she saw the last video and said he deserves of what he gets .The only ones he takes advice is from TATER, And CVK, that think they know everything but still begging for money, and he lost another sub she had it with him.
He doesn't even Edit or has any catchy intro .... like I told him, it's like Watching Paint Dry!

People need to realize that the majority of these channels are not what they seem. There is a "supposedly" wholesome DIY home remodeling channel that I've watched, come to find out they buy 1000 subscribers every month, almost to the exact day. That's false engagement in my book.

OK, I finally succumbed to my desire to flee all this drama going on outside of ‘my lane’, and feel some sand between my toes again.
So I booked a couple of months and some, of spending time on white sand beaches and sticking my toes back into warm water seas. No itinerary yet other than a full moon party on Ko Phangan and some island hopping around Sihanoukville. Maybe the train ride between HCM City and Hanoi, which would mandate a couple of nites on a boat riding around Halong Bay, and maybe a couple other side trips? Should be back by Election Day, so I’ll also be missing all that drama too (yippee!). Remember, Life is Wonderful, if not, it’s because YOU might not be doing it right! Fair Winds.
So glad you comented on this. We quit watching him because all he does is whine. Nobody wants to tune into solid negativity.
One has to wonder if Mike will ever be able to afford retirement with such a spotty work history. Carol at Glorious House on Wheels did a great video warning people that fulltime vanlife isn't always it's cracked up to be. Take care!

I don't know what happened to Mike. He's always been a bit grifty but at least mildly entertaining. His dog dies, he disappears, and his videos after he returned with cheap off grid living have for the most part sucked. Time to reevaluate life I'd say.

I agree with you. I understand all the editing of videos to bring the content to a smaller form. However, I actually think that the shorter unedited videos do a better job in many cases. I have reduced the Humber of channels unfollow/watch (not yours) because of this. There are some channels that do a good job at their presentations, actually have a purpose, support something other than themselves and are not constantly begging for money. Thank you for sharing.
